Grace in a bottle

This series is calming in its duty… I felt protected, almost, when I used the Kolonia. Freshening and allowed me to feel I could let go and continue in trust of this life journey… like riding in a boat looking up to the skies realising just how huge life is, & to feel embraced and safe….

the Adversary within, indeed

this stuff has surfaced anger issues for me with much more gentleness than Mars in Scorpio offerings and has seriously aided in transitioning towards a much kinder internal monologue. the Inner Adversary is present but not overpowering, allowing the kind of detachment and compassionate observation that results in genuinely changed habits, from the heart. I love it! just a drop goes a long way.

in the arms of an angel

this BPAL really creates the feeling of being wrapped up in Michael's wings in a protective embrace. it bestows an instant feeling of calm and has even stopped a panic attack in its tracks before.

$$$

I know this isn't listed as an anticipated side effect of application of this materia, but the times I have experimented with carrying Aldebaran in my purse I almost always manage to find something on sale. something something filling the coffers? also highly recommend pairing with Fomalhaut for thrifting endeavors -- find the stuff you like with the Fish's Eye and make sure it comes in a luxury version with Al.

jumpstart

being JOLTED into action is a great way to describe this one. like a lurching ox starting up momentum to pull a heavy load to wind the gears of life. follow up with a fortifying oil of your choice for longer staying power. I've found Empress to offer extremely good bumpers here, as well as DA

hefty

upon internal consumption of this tincture, I feel "filled up." there's really no better way to describe it. the way Kaitlin describes it as beefing up the auric body is accurate to my experience. it's like turning the volume up on my desires and filling my senses with *me* -- it's difficult to describe but it feels like I become More myself somehow, like Aldebaran is teasing out some part of my essence and then magnifying it for my benefit, to feel grounded. I love this stuff but it's not to be taken lightly!

Exalted Luna = Rest As Resistance

The EL skin, hair, and beard oil is the talismanic companion to The Nap Ministry's Rest As Resistance manifesto by Tricia Hersey. It is a divine reminder that the body's need for rest and healing is non-negotiable. I've integrated this oil into my wind-down routine after testing it out during a nap and waking up a day later (!) My night routine now includes hygiene, application of the oil on my beard, yoga, and a selected work of fiction before drifting off to sleep. This EL is forcing me to reckon with the incongruence between my natural pace and the pace of the Imperial Machine, and is empowering me to choose my natural pace over the urgency and anxiety generated by capitalism. I've gotten some of the best sleep I've ever had in my life, waking up feeling rested and more capable of greeting the day. Great work!

Truly delightful~ the presiding element I smell is unmistakably vetiver, which isn't my number one as far as scents go, but I can appreciate its usage here. There's a cooling, calming, grounding force to vetiver that resonates with the essence of the series. I can't say whether it's the plant material itself that has been infused into the base, or if the essential oil was used. There is also an almondy note, with all its sweetness & lusciousness, that elevates this Beauty Oil to an elixir fit for a Goddess. It is both earthy & heavenly, bridging the two worlds seamlessly, and I love the way it makes me feel. This whole series has been revolutionary, a rebuilder of all that is desired & adored. I can't even begin to explain how precious it is, how deep the healing, happiness and beauty go. Too divine & perfect to be believed . . .

Aldebaran Oil

excellent for Feeling Oneself

weirdly, this oil has become one of my favorites for astral travel. something about the beefed-up auric body that Kaitlin mentions, perhaps? this star sits in a tight conjunction to my natal Mercury and Mars and I definitely feel that effect as bring profoundly grounded into my physical body -- in that way, it's an excellent tether when half-leave my body. I've also had remarkable results when using post- clearing or cord-cutting. eliminating what needs to be cut away then asking Aldebaran to help fill up the new vacuum with a hefty sense of self esteem

Relax--no, more than that.

I had just wrapped up and stepped away from a very high stress situation and would shortly be moving on to dealing with the next, when it was decided that what I needed was a break and a moment's rest in-between--and what a better time to put this oil to the test. I tried the water alone the first night, after greeting the materia. It worked very gently and powerfully; I actually felt that familiar resistance I get when I'm being sedated in response--when I did sleep, I slept better than I had in ages and woke up feeling very rested.

The following night I decided to try the oil along with the water, and apparently my spirits are well and truly tired of my nonsense; I went blank for a few seconds and accidentally dumped quite a bit on myself, my pajamas, and the floor. I'm exasperated at the waste, but the whole room still smells *very* pleasant, very protective and soothing, and like a warm blanket just out of the dryer on a cool night. Message received loud and clear, no more late bedtimes for a while.

Goodnight moon

The water in particular is excellent; it's so gentle and soothing, very peaceful and calming. The shimmering gem in the bottle puts it over the top in vibes. This very much has that maternal+paternal tucking you into bed, telling you stories, and keeping you safe imagery to it, even if that was never thing experienced (or experienced in a very long time). Absolutely perfect.

The cool after the fire

I held off on this review until I had more opportunities to experience this one to see if it would be consistent. I normally get the oils, but this time I also went with the water for reasons I don't remember now. It's the effect of the water that is fascinating me.

The water doesn't get the scent of leather or clove or anything even remotely as described in the other reviews, I reliably get cold ash, like it's well after a raging fire, and I'm looking at a cool, cleared space, with a quiet focus on what I'm going to build next--possibly turn the ashes into the soil for a new garden?

I'm a Scorpio sun+rising with Mars in Aries, so the cooling and meditative plotting quality comes in extremely useful, if unexpected to the point of being a bit disconcerting at first.

Fabulous and wonderful Body Butter!

Love every bit of it. Doesn't make my lazy, but does help me appreciate all things of sense and beauty. Wonderful scent, too. Rock this!!!

Exalted Luna Candles

A masterpiece

Kaitlin, you hit the ball outta the park with this one. I have an exalted Taurus moon and north node, so I really am an authority on the issue haha. I love everything about this series. The candle is my favorite. Smells like creamy moon milk.

Ongoing protection

My DAII altar box got me through a really tough time in my life. I used all of the things- I wore my Talisman, I burned by candle and bathed every thing in incense smoke. I'm no longer hanging on by a thread, and it's mostly socked away for any future financial/otherwise threats, but I continue to use bluing. It really supports a safe comfortable home (and car and office)

Untying knots

The small jar is actually bigger than you would think. Little goes a long way. The effect is floaty, optimistic, eager, yet grounded. It covers a lot of ground. It is simultaneously untying all the knots, and bringing everything together. This is a journey.

I love this oil so much!

I have never bought a beauty oil before, but my purpose was for skin issues (I have so many skin issues... not the least of which is a persistent giant patch of eczema). That said, I added it to my skincare too. So some observations: about the same effect as using the body butter on my eczema, however, added to my skincare: WOW... the morning after I used this for the first time (a couple drops in my usual facial oil), I woke up with such nice looking skin! It almost couldn't be due to this, could it?? I need to keep seeing the effects, but so far so good. There is a bit of a pungent herbal TCM smell to this - I don't mind the smell, but it is strong, so some people who are sensitive might not like this.

My first tincture

This is my first tincture - I wasn't sure what to do with them before so I never bought it. Then I got sick... and feeling a bit desperate, bought this Asclepius tincture. I wasn't sure what to expect, and I'd been taking 3-4 drops in my tea. Since then my lingering symptoms are aleviating. Now I can't say if it's due to this tincture, or if it's my body naturally healing (maybe both?). However, I realized there's SO many more uses to the tincture! I can use drops topically, such as on my skin, instead of the oil. I can add this to my (alcohol based tonic) dandruff treatment! I didn't realize before how versatile this could be, and I love it! I need to buy another bottle soon.

Celestial Look, Rosy Smell

I’ve started using the inks both in art/art magic and on my skin, and now I’m obsessed. This one is a lovely deep night blue. When I apply it to my skin, I instantly feel what my body needs. I also recently used this and Butter Ocean ink mixed with acrylic paint I already had to create a wooden money-drawing talisman, and the entire thing now faintly glitters and smells deliciously like roses!

I Love Them All

I splurged on this series and bought all three (I have a fifth house Capricorn stellium that includes my moon applying to Saturn), and I do not regret it one bit. They all smell fantastic and provide excellent support. Horn of Lily is sweet and green like a mystical forest, as if I was the main character in the song These Dreams by Heart, and it does help mentally. I wore it my first day back to work from maternity leave and was the most focused I’ve been at work in a long time: focused, productive, not zoning out or checking my phone at all. Horn of Oak also gives mystical forest vibes, but muskier, and it is good for grounding the body. Horn of Rose is, well, rosy—a syrupy rose, but not too saccharine; I use it for art and activating the creativity of my fifth house moon.

Dark Mystery in a Bottle

This is the ink I feel called to use most in art, maybe because my natal Saturn is domiciled in my fifth house of creativity. It does shimmer beautifully, even added to paint. Because the actual carrier liquid is clear, and the blackness comes from the particles within, I would recommend painting it alone *over* sigils on paper or using it to draw the sigils themselves (only for impermanent works) because the black particles do flake off and make it hard for mundane ink or paint to stick on top, which isn’t something I’ve noticed with other glitter inks like Azure Dragon. Still 100% recommend, though.

Luna nourishment

This is the third beauty oil I have tried and it is my favorite, both as body and spirit care. Any time a try a new thing on my face there is an introductory time of weirdness- breakouts, scaly patches, redness, etc. Not this oil. Daily use for a over a week with no issue. Instead my skin is dewy and soothed. It elicits contented and kind feelings when looking in the mirror. Nice, light scent. I will be continuing to use it for my whole body. There are a lot of "bits" in it, more than the others I have tried.

These have a wonderful smell as all of the talismanic perfumes do. I can’t say much about travel, but I will say I think I’ve gotten the urge to go for walks after applying this and of course I’ve been chatty after as well.

Be like the lion

I used this steep+smoke in a dry herb vape. I had to push it to a high temperature and usually take two hits. The flavor changed towards the end, but I didn’t dislike the taste too much. Take when you want to act royal or be like a lion leading his pride.

Solar Remediation

I accidentally got some tincture on me at one point – and the effects were immediate. I recall a supercharged feeling of yang, empowerment. At the same time, I used Regulus materia on another occasion and experienced the opposite – I felt a lack of confidence. Perhaps a light was shined on issues on my path to empowerment. After all, it’s solar remediation.
