[mcdusaltasotto]Our powders are 100% uncut, containing no filler ingredients whatsoever. They consist of pure herbs, resins, crushed minerals, and other natural materials befitting the nature of their operation.

These are ritually suffumigated, blended, and consecrated during times of great astrological potency before being left to incubate for a full lunar cycle alongside the other offerings in their series. These are often the first item to be made on any given election, serving as a sympathetic base ingredient in their brother and sister creations.

Having the pure powder allows you to imbue your own creations and spell work with the energies contained in their election. For instance, they can be cut with cornstarch (or some other type of filler) or dirt (or other disguising base) and applied according to the hoodoo tradition. They can be used to dress candles or create your own oils, or an incense component by burning over a coal or mixing with saltpeter to self-ignite. Ultimately, they serve as an empowering addition to nearly any working compatible with their purpose, and the sky is the limit to their application.

    Mammoth Subset

    The backbone of Saturn in Aquarius' working altar was a large chonk of woolly mammoth tusk, preserved for thousands of years and unearthed recently in Alaska. Shards were fumigated with myrrh during the operation, and ground into this subset, as well as charred and pulverized for the Ink + Skin Stain. Mammoths are the furry relatives of the elephants we all know and love.     While the goat is probably Saturn's most commonly regarded animal patron (given its association with the sign of Capricorn itself), alligators and crocodiles too are tremendously Saturnian creatures. Primordial... ancient... cold blooded... sedentary… quiet… lurky af… and above all, lethal. Their lifespan is typically from one to two Saturn cycles — some documented cases being far longer — further compounding their natural alliance with the Saturnian sphere. Two Gator sub-sets were created for this series: Swamp and Golden. Swamp Gator is, in two words: down and dirty. The downest and dirtiest in fact — its formulation comprised of actual swamp mud (graciously harvested by Austin’s absolute saint of a mother in the depths of Florida), gator vertebrae, gator teeth, and shavings of skin. All of which were ethically, legally obtained... Fun fact: the alligator population in Florida is approximately 1.3 million, and the Kingdom of Animalia is inherently eco-friendly and sustainable to harvest from in conditions where populations are healthy (in this case overly so), the animal has lived under good conditions (preferably in their native habitat), and they have come to meet a natural or necessary end.
