i'm a notoriously hard stick when it comes to blood work and have a lot of trauma from blood panels/iv lines (i've fainted during blood draws, usually require multiple attempts to find a vein, doctors or nurses can't put iv lines in me without an ultrasound guide, etc) that make my bloodwork appointments embarrassing and stressful. even more so because i actually don't have a fear of needles, which is what most of the techs assume, and then i find myself having to explain away my flusteredness (when then spikes my anxiety, which THEN makes it even harder for them to find veins).
since getting this lip balm, i've started wearing it to all my blood draw appointments and have not had a single one (NOT ONE!) go awry. i even had an endoscopy that required an iv line, and the nurse was able to get it in a single go without any ultrasound guidance. an incredible offering that has helped me navigate what used to be extremely stressful! the description says it's not the most moisturizing, but i find it plenty hydrating and smooth. thank you!
I love this one for calming down. I recently had dental surgery and this lip balm was so helpful with smoothing out the jagged edges of my energy.
I use this lip balm during the day and Asclepius lip balm at night. Both are wonderful, and I find them both plenty moisturizing. Subtle compared to other forms is this series, but as I use the butter and salve on a daily basis, it is possible I don’t pick up additional nuances as easily. They still work and are a wonderful addition in this series and so convenient to travel with.
This has a wonderful consistency and will last a long time.
This is so nice! My favourite lip balm that I've tried. It sits really nicely on my lips and makes them look and feel healthier. Even tho it's not scented, the ingredients themselves have a nice subtle smell. I do feel it gives vitality and support in an easy to use form.
