I used this to travel and, at the very least, it protected my peace. All travel seemed to go smoothly as well, but I also felt myself being more calm and collected while going through airports and flying (something that often causes me distress). A wonderful protective aid!
I receive many compliments when wearing this and have even had comments on my confidence as well. I feel just a bit more powerful when wearing this and smelling it linger on my clothes...My clients treat me with me authority as well. Its quite remarkable. I feel as if I am on throne of sorts.
This BPAL smells so rich and warm, it's intoxicating and I really, really love it. A little goes a very long way though - I have to be careful as I can be easily overwhelmed by strong scents. This one is sunshine in a bottle.
Potent without being too much, this oil imparts confidence and a quiet authoritative energy. I feel both more capable and deserving but without any sense of righteousness that can sometimes accompany solar energies for me. Perfect for when I need a little boost of charisma!
These smell amazing! I’ve used the Lions Purr the most and have had wonderful results with easier communication and being well received.
As a fallen Sun native, I have been careful with Sol materia. I started working with Sol after I got the materia without applying it directly on myself. The Summer Solstice felt like an appropriate time to test the materia out. I used the body butter along with the oil and perfume. I didn’t have any negative side effects. What I noticed was how everything was flowing so naturally and smoothly.
As a Leo rising, I can say that I experienced being Sun-ruled where the Sun in its domicile. I was just me existing in this world. I wasn’t anxious around other people, self-critical, shy or closed off. I was just existing in a natural state of flow that was both new but familiar at the same time. The side of Leo I always wanted to be but haven’t come to just yet before that day.
I put one drop of this on my husband before work and he got invited to an upper level meeting that he previously hadn't been included in, where he was so useful he got praised by the CEO. We will be using this a lot more.
I purchased two of these perfumes to support a local candidate's political campaign. It's too soon to say for sure if our efforts will be victorious, but so far, the supportive effects of the perfumes can be seen in receptive voters, abundant donations, eager volunteers, etc. A powerful resource!
So, so perfect for when I need a boost of confidence going into a challenging meeting or conference. Bonus: The Lion's Purr smells so close to Guerlain's Habit Rouge that people have thought I was wearing HR... so my magical secrets are safe.
This perfume has a nice, solar effect on my mood without being too warming or ferocious.
You know the roaring Lion at the beginning of the old movies? This has a really nice sound to it when you put it on like that cue to settle in for the show. Safe, warm, invigorating, like a rush of blood to the heart, but not to burn out. This stokes a steady blaze and a crackling fire that rumbles along and keeps the bad vibes in their own court, while keeping you in your own space with your own regality. It’s like soaking up the sun. The live and let live, even in the lions den, Simba singing “hakuna ma-ta-ta” vibe is a stronger psychic protection than you think too! The oil is the energy itself. This is more a projected version, or an aura, almost like putting an a Lion shaped bubble.
This was my first perfume purchase, I hadn't dared, but I was quite satisfied with the purchase, the aroma it brings is definitely imposing, a little is enough to draw attention in a group of people, adding that it gives you a certain aura of authority and power.
I have a regular devotion to the Sun, and I’ve incorporated this perfume into my weekly ritual. I also use it any time I want to shine in the world. It’s brilliant. I receive positive attention, and I just generally feel all shiny and happy. I love this materia!
Lion's Purr is potentially one of the only leadership/power influences I've got on with. The description is very explicit about how this power is granted and used, which I think is helpful. I find that when I apply this generously to my chest or upper back, I feel more confident in the work roles I already have and able to lead without feeling stressed, being too strict, or too much of a pushover. It feels good, delivers good results, and seems to draw a healthy amount of respect from others.
The scent of Lion's Roar is quite strong (I ended up mixing it with unscented lotion as I found it too strong for me), but nice. Very in your face bright citrusy and floral.
I never buy perfumes for scent though, I got this bpal for the intent, and definitely, as soon as you put it on, it FEELS sunny, but also, you take stock of your kingdom, or your dominion. It does give that very protective vibe over everything that is yours. I haven't seem an obvious example of its protective power yet, but I assume it's doing its thing in the background.
I anointed Lion’s fang on my right ear. Suddenly, I saw a lion in vision. I felt so light as if someone is removing burden on me. I went to restaurant and people were opening themselves to me as if they were taking their masks off. After wear off, I can’t sleep. Not because I was struggling to sleep. Because I was too happy to sleep!
I bought the 4 bpal set. The scents are a little too much for me and trigger headaches BUT!!!!!! but but I've been using all 4 to anoint necklaces, crystals, the bottom of my feet, books, my doors, and my office. I always forget magical BPALs can be used for more than just bodily perfume / anointing. And using them on other items has made all the difference for me.
The Lion's Roar scent felt strong at first, but there's a big difference how it smells in the bottle vs. on skin. I gave it another try on another day (on Sun's day / hour) and somehow, it has now settled and smells lovely on my skin. I noticed some appointments I felt hesitant and reluctant about (but went along with anyway), got cancelled right after applying. I felt relief and I believe Lion's Roar protection was at work .
I got the set of four, but am currently writing to review The Lion's Purr BPAL since it has instantly become my favorite of the set. Effect-wise, it's exactly the right balance of helping me speak up/stay engaged with others (not always this Aquarius rising's strongest suit) without becoming overly annoyed / snarky. I did wear the other three and appreciate them for different reasons, but this one feels by far the most wearable on a daily basis for me.
Scent-wise, (though I'm not the best at describing scent profiles), I've found this one to be fairly Lemongrass-forward in a surprisingly gentle way -some of the Mercury / QST BPALs are also heavy on lemongrass, but feel much more astringent and sharp than this scent profile does. Dry-down is *lightly* floral and powdery, but very subdued from what I can tell. Any time I sniff my wrist throughout the day brings a smile to my face, much like the base GSII materia does. Highly recommend!
As a Leo Sun with a Leo MC, I ordered this for the upcoming Mars transit as it will go RX directly on my Sun. I'll take all the support I can get. Thank you.

I loooooooved The Golden Sovereign from the OG Golden Sol series. That mix of frankincense, honey, and citrus smells like Heaven to me. The Lion's Diadem conjures up that same wonderful fragrance, even if there is variation in the ingredients list.
I was wary of this series at first because the Sun and Luna in the election tightly square my natal Sun and Mercury. As with most S+ series, however, this materia alleviates issues rather than exacerbates them. I excitedly applied this bpal due to the scent without waiting for Sol day or hour. I was cheerful and chatty throughout the day and felt empowered at my job in a way that Exalted Sol can't do for me. My natal Sun is square Saturn in my 12th house, and I respond to this materia very well.
