This may be my favorite lip balm in terms of scent and texture—it’s so smooth and gently rosy. It’s great for relaxing and spending time with family and friends, and makes cuddles cuddlier, even more so than Exalted Luna (which I also love). 100% recommend.
This is just so sweet and cozy. I apply this throughout my day and genuinely feel it not only brightens and makes my day more lovely and pleasurable. But the people I live with too seem to receive the joyful feels of the Venus thread. Additionally, three times while wearing the lip balm I have seen a flock of 4 mourning doves hanging around my yard. Usually in the morning and honest to goodness on Fridays! Just the most delightful thing!
So good. This is the favorite of all S+ lip balms that I've tried. Smells great and glides on smoothly. Helps me feel a sense of ease, rest, and an bend towards indulgence when I apply it.
I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of the smell but it's very compelling - like the floral notes I enjoyed in the body butter but without the smokiness that seemed to come out in that form for me. Feels plush and is relaxing to wear.
I love this lip balm so much! It smells amazing, and I feel beautiful when I wear it. The first time I applied it, I felt like my eyes looked extra bright and pretty -- I did a double-take in the mirror! Wearing it also helps me feel more confident and relaxed.
Really great lip balm, I bought extras and gifted them to family and friends for Christmas as well. I really enjoy using it in the winter as it is very moisturizing. Like everything in this series, it’s define, gives you abundance, luck, charm, and joy!
So good for stimulating the instinct to be social, to proactively offer comfort to others, and to indulge in good food and drink. I always put this on before going out with friends now.
I'm lukewarm on the new packaging. I appreciate that it's environmentally friendly, but it gets banged up and dingy rattling around a makeup pouch or purse much more quickly than the previous clear plastic.
So lovely to have this earthy Venus in your pocket! The balms are so great for taking on the go and applying throughout the day, keeping a steady supply of ease and grace at hand. I love the scent of this with its woodsy floral, and will even use it like a perfume sometimes when I really want a fragrant hit!
I've been moved by the gentle warming effect of this salve for some weeks now. Delightful unexpected conversations with people known and new to me.
The irrefutable proof of this fancy took place in the last hour with someone held to be stubborn, opinionated, volatile. That'd be me, it turns out. Though I preferred to believe those adjectives applied to..someone else. Only, well. You get it.
Even more unlikely, this transition took place in a context well into my discomfort zone: DIY. My tormentor and I transposed the supporting structure of a collapsible ladder from one side of its attic hatch to the other. We did so without spilling blood, and an unlikely but unspoken truce holds sway at this unexpected point.
The two of us now exist floating in a bubble, aka a spirit level. Reader, few could be more surprised than I. And for Thema Mundi fans, I note too that as I write a quiz show in this very room offered three suggestions concerning the meaning of Contra Mundum (pretty sure it was that pairing: I am adaze right now). Against the world, it turns out. Turns out it's hard work. Why make things tough for poor put-upon Atlas?
First of all, as a lip balm this is a great product. I love love love the tube it comes in because I feel like when it gets to the end it will really minimize any waste. As opposed to traditional screw-types, this is a cardboard tube with a bottom you push up. And I appreciate that it's cardboard and so not as forever as plastic. As for the balm itself, I love the smell, and just as with the Thema Mundi balm, I find this moisturizes very nicely, and am wearing it almost every day.
As for the series itself...WOW! It's only been a few weeks, but I feel like I've had some pretty incredible (while still kind of subtle) changes in my life. Now I will admit, I ordered this knowing full well I was entering an 11th house profection year, which is ruled by Libra in my chart, and I've got 4 placements chilling there. But I really want to maximize the remaining 10 months I've got in this profection year because I've been fairly isolated and my heart has been hurting for years. Also, I wouldn't mind finding that life partner and there's a very high likelihood I would meet them through 11th house means. To that end, I got the balm, and then a powder from each subset.
I've had an increase in social occasions with friends that are just genuinely heartwarming (I think off the top of my head, atleast 3 or 4, just in the last few weeks) but also include good food. I have absolutely had some heart-healing. I've got a great girl's day planned in the beginning of January. And while I don't have any dates yet, I can just feel that energy building up while I become aware of, overcome, or heal some remaining blockages I didn't know I had. Some genuine connections with friends seem to be growing, and I think it's actually more to do with gentle clearing away of walls in my heart. It just feels good!
As a sweet bonus, I ordered some materia for a friend as well. I asked if the S+S crew could include a custom message for my friend, and y'all...they actually handwrote it. I was just expecting a typed up paragraph on the order slip. And when you think about it, it's not like there was ever a guarantee I would even know they wrote it out by hand, since I live elsewhere. So it just seems to me like something they did because they're genuinely nice and thoughtful.
This is such a great lip balm. It's very soft and glides on really beautifully and feels super cozy. I find it helps me be more patient and thoughtful with my speech, and not just to others! It has a really alchemizing effect resulting in more of a centered, thoughtful connection to myself as well. Sorely needed, to be honest! Highly recommend.
This lip balm is so lovely! The formulation feels the same as the other chappies and I swear the Venus ones give my lips a glamour effect. They look like my lips but better - such a subtle color effect to them but there isn't any in the tube!
Every time I wear this, I chat up a storm. I am usually a very reserved and quiet person but this series makes me want to talk. It also just brings people to me that want to talk! Notably, I applied one Friday morning during Venus hour before work and had a stream of people come talk to me until lunch time. Not a single productive 'work' thing got done that day but it was an enjoyable Friday! I feel my joking is less witty than VAD and more goofy/good natured humor. Truly feels like a loveable aura that people are drawn to and I want to share without being concerned about anything.
Virgo rising, Aquarius Sun with Saturn in Gemini in my 10th opposite Moon conjunct Mars, and... My frenetic brain isn't so frenetic with this balm on my lips (regularly now!) I now take things naturally at an easier pace and things turn out well. I do wear this for both work and play, as it calms my nerves and I still get done what really needs to be done without running myself ragged. This is super-remedial for me, and I love it.
I’m a huge fan of tuberose, so I knew that I had to have this and it certainly delivered. The scent is gently aromatic and the formula left my lips feeling soft while also lasting through a 5 course meal. I noticed that I was more outgoing than usual in when using this, and people were friendly, helpful and kind, even offering me larger portions of food and more frequent drink refills than those around me.
This is the only form I got that was additive rather than subtractive/cleansing in my first VED order, and it is DELIVERING delicious meals that are simple to make and healthy too. If I'm not personally cooking the food, I've noticed regular places I go have upped their quality to higher than before (for awhile, some had started lagging). Lots of gentle interactions, giggles, and warm smiles while out wearing this.
I was expecting this lip balm to smell really good because of the tuberose, but something about the other scent that it's blended with takes this materia to another level. As soon as I opened it initially, I could feel all of the intended/ desired effects of Aphrodite in Her Earth element domicile, and though that's undoubtedly due to ~the energy~, it's hard to imagine a better aroma to carry the power unto one's person. I wanted rose, rose & more rose for this series, but it's interesting how each iteration unfolds with its own aromatic character in addition to its other distinctions. Anyway, my first lip balm from S+ & I absolutely love everything about it!
