I’m so glad I purchased a large size. I add the kolonia to my diffuser weekly to increase connection and ease in my household. As a general measure and “base” layer.
I wore it yesterday for the first time too. For my Valentine’s Day outing I splashed some across the back of my neck before putting on my scarf. It provided a gentle reminder to intend love in all I did, say, think, and feel. Very sweet ♥️
Beautiful scent and a very gentle Kolonía. It has a sweet, loving energy that washes you in that feeling. This feels so good. It’s the only Venus Kolonía I have and working with it, I’ve got the sense that my Venus Issues are quite deep and I need to up my reserve of clarifying forms of Venus materia. I love this series and literally everything I’ve used from it is so delicious. It feels very luxurious, but it doesn’t feel like a luxury I don’t deserve. It definitely feels deserved but like as a treat.
Beautiful scent
Much gentler than any other formula I've used so far, even more so than Butter Ocean. It's like a steaming bath for my aura. I use this as a prep and then layer either other ViT, solar, or Jupiterian materia over it. It seems to soften and cushion everything applied afterwards. This is also great prep under the Saturn in Aquarius salve and has reduced the physical side effects that produces.
I don't know what it is about this series and me loving things I originally was going to pass on! Turns out this is one of my fave kolonias and I'm glad I got the big bottle. So sensuous in smell and it really reconnects me with simplicity and desire without neuroticism which is priceless.
This kolonia is so lovely. I agree that it is less drying than most kolonias, and also more gentle, energetically. I love kolonia's as a form, and this one is very sweet. The scent is lovely of course, and energetically it has a slow, sweet, delightful charge. Using this before devotions always brings me to center, but in a more embodied way than some of the other Venus kolonias. I would not use this if I was trying to blast through some heavy energetic gunk, but its perfect for clearing away the cares of the day and centering into pleasure and love.
I love this for priming the vessel before additive forms (like oil or water) and find it's a really grounding and delightful item. It's not quite as drying as other kolonias and the scent lingers in a nice way. I think this would be super perfect to start with from this series, as the cleansing forms are really supportive.
I really went ham on ordering various forms of ViT this time around and love them all, but so far the kolonia is my absolute fave. The scent is so delightfully light - floral, but not *too* floral - and reminds me of a breeze on a perfect spring day. I immediately feel lighter, more relaxed and primed to just enjoy the simple things as soon as I wear it, and will be upgrading my next order to the large size because I never want to run out of it. LOOOOVE
It is my first time trying a kolonia from S+S and I have to say that it is extremely state altering.. The time that I rubbed my hands and inhaled it immediately relaxed my mind and body in a profound way.
Kolonías tend to be some of my favorite & most-used Forms of all materia, and this will be no exception. I'm already anxious about running out! Perhaps due to the inclusion of hyssop, it has somewhat of a unique scent— rosy, for sure, but with a slight herbal/ cleansing "edge" that still manages to be rather rich & luscious. This kolonía just makes me feel good when I use it. Others have brought similar positivity, but not in precisely the same way; it's like VED is just born to deliver pleasure & improve or beautify everything, with little to no action needed on the user's part! It's so, so healing & delightful~
