Mercury in Gemini Ink + Skin Stain
A blend of fumigated, consecrated Mercurial herbs combined with alcohol and raw honey during our Mercury in Gemini election, mixed with holographic mica to create a nearly invisible stain, aside the sparkles which form rainbows in sunlight.
Use to trace sigils, glyphs, or anoint parts of the body, or brush over sigils and petition papers.
The glitz naturally settles and gets pretty compact over time, to integrate, shake very well before use! Use the oceans of time to pray and contemplate your intent. Can also be expedited by using a stirring stick of some sort.
(That also enables you to leave the glitter on the bottom and just employ the invisible ink standalone, without light reflecting properties).

to start off, i LOVE how the base for this ink stain is actually clear to contrast with the bright holographic glitter! it reminds me a lot of hermes as depicted in the netflix series 'blood of zeus' - he has a short cloak that is hide on one side and iridescent on the other, to show the duality of his visibility and invisibility.
i've used this ink stain mostly topically - another reviewer mentioned painting it on fingernails, which is an application i really enjoy! i've also sprinkled this in areas where i lead ice breakers/social activities at work, and the energy immediately becomes more social, sparkly, and buoyant! i will also say though that this materia seems to scatter focus. great for socializing, but for focus i would go back to exalted mercury.

WOW this ink is fascinating to sit and watch as the sparkles glitter and swirl inside the bottle. I find myself spending a lot of time just doing that honestly, almost instant meditation which totally tracks with mercury materia. I love drawing glyphs on my body depending on the use I want mercury to focus on and it’s so potent. Used in tandem with other forms of MiG materia is powerful, powerful magic. Oh! Also great when given as offerings to St. expedite as well!
I apply on my nails before social stuff that I'm not necessarily looking forward to and it helps smooth out my nerves /makes group dynamics easier. Let my gemini moon rising niece try it out before a soccer game and she seemed so much more free and less in her head. <3
I love this ink but I do need to take one star just because this is the only S+ ink that separates and has the glitter all stick together in an inconvenient way. You must have a quill or other tool to manually re-mix every time you wanna use this ink. This is not a big deal considering the magic it provides but I do think its something to keep in mind before purchasing. Still lovely and I would still happily buy it knowing this info.
I really like this ink! It's very very light in color and basically invisible on skin, but there are lovely sparkles in every drop so you see the sparkles when it's applied to the body. It has a light, effervescent energy that is delightful to engage with when you need to (as I often do lol) take yourself less seriously and just go with the flow. I am excited to try this in a ritual for a successful + fun road trip that I have coming up. Highly recommend!
I love the inks from Sphere and Sundry, and this one is no exception! I have both of the Mercury inks, and so far, I will say that I haven’t used this one quite as often as the Exalted Mercury one. In my experience, the lack of color makes it better suited to special projects, rather than more general use. As the description says, this ink is basically invisible except for the mica, and I found that I do need to stir it before each use if I want the sparkle to show up. But all that holographic shimmer is so playful and pretty, and makes the ink a real joy to work with! It also differentiates it from the Exalted Mercury Ink, which has a more practical, businesslike look and feel to it. So far, I’ve used this ink in a ritual context to connect with the lighter, more creative side of Mercury, and I’ve even incorporated it into making a few ritual items. It’s been a really fun purchase, and I’m sure I’ll keep coming up with new ways to use it! I’d recommend it to anyone who wants an ink dedicated to Mercury, but found the Exalted Mercury series too intense—or to anyone who happens to be looking for some Mercury materia that has a fanciful, sparkling look to it.
For reference, I have my MC in Gemini and have a Virgo ascendent conjunction, Mercury and Venus in my first house, and a Virgo 12th house sun in the Tropical chart. I'm still getting acquainted with this Ink and the many ways I will use it. However, I most often apply it to my arms (on my skin) or my hair so far and like to paint Mercurial sigils on myself with it. I also applied it to myself before a recent new-to-me social event that seemed to go very well. Several random people socialized with me at the event and I was very satisfied with the fun, playful, and light-hearted experience. I may add to this review after I have more experiences with this Ink applied to my skin and hair.
My first foray into inks with Azure Dragon Antares Ink and I fell in love with the ink materia. Petitions! Ink tattoos! Sigils! It's so versatile and easily adapted to any use. The Mercury in Gemini ink did arrive with the little compacted nugget of Mica as stated in the write up so I knew to expect it. Upon shaking it up the mica dispersed into the most glorious pearlescent sparkles, which DO make iridescent rainbows in the sun. This ink is very happy and weighless, possibly also a contributor to little time warps... I'm looking forward to using it with the other MiG materia 🙂
