Luxurious and floral. A bit heavier on the jasmine side than I would prefer, but still lovely, and makes me want to relax amongst good company enjoying the finer things. Feels very fitting for wearing out to brunch on the weekend.

These oils have a generosity of spirit that I do not experience with other BPALs. The scents are very floral and fruity, not at all what I would usually wear, but when I do I am always struck by how supported and resourced they make me feel. This whole series brings what I can only describe as "sleepover vibes".
I purchased this for a friend who was dealing with some more stressful life events. They enjoyed the scent and found the perfume to be great for relaxing, appreciating small luxuries, and obtaining restful sleep and relaxation.
These oils gave me the opportunity to receive attentive listening and support. I would also say it brought me money in my work that was simply offered to me by a client, just like that.
But above all, what I’ve noticed with this oil is that it keeps me from having an entirely empty pocket. That’s really the best thing I’ve taken from it.
For the smallest details, I would say it’s about having people’s presence and support when I’m going through moments of distress. That’s what I’ve observed about this oil.
When I decided to come downstairs I thought that it smelt like butter, but that may have been Mel. The person who cooked for the family already has quite a bull-in-a-china-shop attitude but hey, I’ll take it. Shallow fried fish, pasta, salad. Actually, I quite literally will be! Aha. Thank you guys.
Neither one falls into a scent profile I necessarily prefer, so I layer them with other BPALs (S+S or every-day blends). Melliora feels like it's telling you to relax, step back and let things happen, and Pillow Forts feels a little more playful, like if you have fun then more will naturally come to you. They bring a very soft, comforting, and easy-going feeling- Great alone and as a combo.
The smell of this is hard to describe, it's quite bold so not my favourite... but the magic undoubtedly works. I noticed when wearing it that it inspired others to be more generous towards me than usual, even without me having that as my intent. Excited to see what it can do with more focussed work.
I’ve worn Pillow Fort and Petite Fours a couple times, though only have had time for a couple hours before bedtime for both wears. It’s smells like a jasmine lotion in the bottle, but on the skin the blooming flowers and complex array of supporting notes is much more refined a palate, yet it’s also a powerhouse of a scent. My partner liked it the first time, then was a bit repelled for the wet stage on second wear.
In terms of energy, I think I need a longer stretch of time to relax into the experience, but I can see this conjuring the feeling of a tropical vacation, where all the fabrics feel delightful on the skin, all the treats unfold into undulating delights on the tongue, all the conversations are underscored with desire.
At the time I bought this I was kind of skint and looking for something to boost money magic. Impressed by the reviews and the confident assertions in the description I thought I’d give it a shot.
It worked. Quantifiably. I was hoping for some of that stabilizing and ever-growing Taurus energy, and I def got it. Today was a great example where I paid off a bulk of stuff and then saw it replenished almost right away.
The scent is a little heavy-handed. Not as elegant as the other S&S offerings I use. Rather sweet, some rose, maybe some vanilla in there? Very feminine. But this is a further testament to its efficacy because while not wild about the actual fragrance, I use it anyway. The results are too real. Really glad I discovered this stuff. Highly recommended for financial operations.
I had to grab this perfume because the name is such a personal sync for me with pillow forts as a place of tucked away coziness and safety. To me they speak of playfulness and intimacy i.e. secrets wispered under the blankets they keep the world out even tho the physical barrier could be seen as flimsy. The scent is a little strong but very beautiful, Venus in taurus definitely doesn't want to work tho, counter to my day job being labour intensive, so I'll need to create some softer evenings as a better environment to call on her blessings and work with my taurus rising
The perfume smells so lovely but then I think that about every talismanic perfume. Consistent wear of this perfume while asking to draw good business opportunity has been an important step of my week since this perfume was released and I got it. That's the whole Venus in taurus series tbh.
Despite having issues with jasmine, I felt compelled to try all three of these. Luckily two of them are compatible with my skin. Dulcedo truly feels warm and comforting. The scent starts out with honey and butter, then becomes almost fruity - I'm surprised not to see something like pomegranate or plum in the ingredients. Melliora doesn't create a strong emotional impression for me, and I haven't worn it enough to assess its magical impact. It starts out smelling like fancy soap, then like fancy hotel linens, and eventually dries down to a nice orris scent. There's an intriguing complexity here and I'm looking forward to getting to know it better. Pillow Forts is the disappointment, scentwise - on my skin it's just JASMINE JASMINE JASMINE then it mostly disappears. Ordinarily I would say that scent incompatibility shouldn't stand in the way of effective ritual usage, but in this particular case, I feel like an item dedicated to finding little pleasures should in itself be a little pleasure to experience, so I'm still deciding what to do with this one.
The scent leans a bit powdery, which isn’t usually my favorite, but it’s beautifully balanced and grows on you. The longevity and projection have both been exceptional, no issues there. And interestingly, every time I’ve worn this BPAL, I’ve noticed unexpected financial blessings coming my way!
Oh my heart what a beautiful scent profile.. and it does what it claims to do - my wallet is never empty, I have all my needs met and then some. Im so grateful for this magic!!
These are both welcome new additions to the S+S bpal family. I didn't know how badly I needed new Venus bpals but I felt them working as soon as I used them.
Reminds me a bit of Talaria in the soft lemon note, but there are a lot more notes going on (I can pick out the patchouli and sandalwood that go slightly incense-like & the cardamom as well). It does smell a bit busy at first, and I find it is a bit difficult to describe after it settles. I have to use most bpals near my feet or ankles because they are typically quite strong.
I work a tip-based side job specifically for "little treat" money, so Pillow Forts and Petit-Fours is a great ally there. My tips are higher and I have more customers, and Venus in Taurus' influence makes the entire experience more enjoyable.
I wanted to love this. I tried putting on moisturizer before I used it. I tried putting it in a perfume spray bottle and spraying the air & walking thru. But the smell comes off as one note perfumey. It may smell great to others, it just doesn’t work with my body chemistry.
Even though I’ve experienced effortless abundance, I’m still surprised and delighted when it happens. I dabbed this BPAL behind my ears and on the back of my neck before work and almost forgot I was wearing it when a client handed me an envelope to thank me for my attention this season. I must say gratitude surrounds these perfumes!
