This is one of my favorite BPALs of all time - I write for a living and typically use it 2-3 days per week. It's uplifting and energizing, helps me find interesting angles, artfully conduct interviews, and synthesize information. I'm an avid Sphere and Sundry fan, and this is one I will savor til the very last drop.
I've been using THE BARD QUEEN in conjunction with THE PHOSPHORESCENT FIRES IN THE FAR MIST, and I just realized upon writing this review, THEY'RE KIND OF THE OPPOSITE?? The Bard Queen expands; it externalizes your art. The Phos Fire is about depth–going deep to find the treasure to integrate/alchemize into your art. The Bard has the gift ready to share, but perhaps can use depth with Phos Fire? Anywho, I love the scent. But now I'm just going to start using it with other "yang" products for externalizing and output.
Just feeling extremely blessed to have received and jumped on the notification that a few of these were back in stock, recently -- I love the other two BPALs from this series and had been kicking myself over missing out on this one, but it turns out that we were always destined to be together, after all! This scent is just *divine* and I could hardly wait for Mercury hour to kick off on this Saturday [Mercury] night so that I could indulge in this one properly, again. Time will tell how it affects my writing/other creative endeavors, but all signs point to this being another treasured resource in my arsenal :)))
I've been pairing Bard Queen bpal with Exalted Mercury while working on a government proposal. My RFP has been top notch and I'm receiving the best feedback for my writing. I never would have thought to pick up Bard Queen, but the other reviews convinced me that it may be helpful when working with words and manifesting through writing.
The Bard Queen is such an incredible perfume oil. The scent is positively enchanting, it's uplifting and so versatile. Works wonders for inspiration, including finishing up drafts.
The scent is glorious and you really feel more lyrical and in touch with the muses when using it. Words flow with ease, but also beauty.
Going to be buying this one a second time! I found it extremely successful in helping me reach my daily wordcount goal on a writing project. I also put it on before going to a social gathering and made a bunch of great connections throughout the evening (and I'm usually a shy person)
The scent is divine. It was life saver when I had a series of work events where I had to be social but was running out of steam. I felt at ease and found the words that I needed. It was an instant social pick-me-up!
I have enjoyed wearing this when I am working on artistic projects and has been manifesting more as getting more attention for my work, i.e. I was asked to do a workshop for poetry while working with this, which was amazing. I love it!
Don’t sleep on this offering. The Bard Queen is both the deepest & subtlest of the QT perfumes. I applied this before doing a virtual poetry reading, excerpting work I’d written on political activism. It went brilliantly and I felt truly elated afterwards, receiving many compliments from friends, & emails from attendees and well-established professors. It helped me to create an impression in a space I really needed to! The scent also lingers & gains in complexity as you wear it, which is not true of all the BPAL perfumes (alas). Snap it up while you still can!

Water of Asclepius I
Waters, Sprays + Hydrosols, Sold Out, Asclepius IAs further detailed in the series description, cypress, sage, and incense cedar were blessed using the words of Thessalos, given to him in dream by Asclepius, and harvested on the Summer Solstice in the hour of Jupiter. These, along with rose of jericho, were combined in a copper still and immersed in water freshly collected from the headwaters of the Sacramento River in Mt. Shasta. A hydrosol was produced, which was later combined with essential oils of frankincense and rosemary, carnelian, and grain alcohol during the Ras Alhague election, where the water was dedicated to Asclepius and received his blessing.
One of the beautiful qualities of this formulation is that upon vigorous shaking, it turns white — a color associated with healing and purity in many magical traditions.

I was having trouble getting off the ground writing something of a political/social justice nature and getting close to my deadline, so I decided it would be the perfect occasion to test out this particular offering from the QT series. Honestly, this worked almost too well, and I was able to finish my writing, editing, and stylistic ~polishing~ *with time to spare* – which never happens around here! In other circles I’d have to make a disclaimer about the possibility of this all being a placebo effect, but here, I can give full credit where it’s due. Thank you Bard Queen!
I really was going to pass on the Quicksilver Tongue series. I’m not an artist or a performer, so I didn’t think it would apply to me. Then I read the part about “play” in the main description, and that really hit home. I miss playing and the wild childlike pursuit of joy and expression. Much of what this series does is makes it easier to tap into that “Play” without self-judgement. It’s so much fun!
Bard Queen in particular gives me a sense of ease in self-expression. I’m less self conscious when I engage with it and find myself saying to others “Wouldn’t it be fun if we…” a lot more. There’s also an element of taking charge of one’s own fun. Being responsible for that facet of self-care and co-creation of one’s own life experience.
The scent itself lasts for a long while. To me it smells like heavy sticky dark honey with floral hints. Not foodie honey, more earthy than super sweet. Grounded and beautiful.
