I purchased this along with another TM product (Incense + Powder) and was using this in tandem.
A series of very fortuitous events landed me a trip to New Zealand. I have never been to a more beautiful place. The people, the mindset, the lifestyle, all of it (from my perspective) was VERY positive. When I had to return home I resolved to bring home that positivity and to make some constructive changes in my self. This resulted in a complete change in eating and drinking habits, more intention behind the types of exercise I engage in and being more mindful and engaging with who I interact with.
This particular product brought about an initial and critical look at myself in the mirror, which softened into a deep self love and acceptance and the slow dissolving for the need for self validation. As an odd consequence I seem to draw in a lot of people that say I look like I am "glowing" that I appear "radiant" or how great my skin looks. Some folks have even inquired if I have had work done (I have not). It seems to help facilitate self love which as a positive consequence, draws in harmonious experiences and people that will feel drawn to your 'light'
Whew hard to organize my thoughts with this offering but going to try....like most Thema Mundi, there is a variation of experience with application. This hits lighter than the Anointing Oil but heavier than the Salve, and the prayer is **gorgeous** and absolutely had me in tears. For me, most of the experience of this Beauty Oil is deeply internal. I have noticed that it's really bringing up old stories around not feeling beautiful for review, and gently encouraging me to just be me, and to accept and love myself just as I am. It layers wonderfully with other facial products and the pump bottle is easy to use.
I must start by noting that Thema Mundi is not for the lighthearted. None of this materia is for someone who isn’t either DEEPLY spiritual or DEEPLY serious about magick. That aside, if I could recommend anything from this series it actually would be this oil. The prayer for this offering is beautiful and POTENT!!!!!! When I bought this, I thought I was kind of out of my mind. When it arrived? After maybe two uses to see what this is like, I pumped a bunch into a blank canvas lotion bottle with Golden Titan beauty oil too. Applying the two together gets you feeling like a god… in a non-heretical way… I feel like I have tremendous power and I will be judicious with it out of respect for that power. There’s a feeling of it activating what is latent within you while also courting the assistance of higher intelligences. This is a wonderful beauty oil on its own, the scent is HYPNOTIC, and every time I put the raw oil on my skin I feel like I’m in a trance for a good while. When “diluted” in the blank canvas lotion, it’s less hypnotic but the magick is potent. Thema Mundi shifts worlds.
So, I don't have the best habits. Too many sweets and not enough water or sleep. While I try and fix that, this oil pretty much keeps me afloat. It keeps me looking as well rested and unstressed as possible despite the reality of my habits lol. I don't have the best skin genes either, so as long as all that stays at bay I'm happy.
I've enjoyed every S+S beauty oil I've tried and they all perform true to form and purpose. I was very curious about what this oil might bring, since Thema Mundi is many energies enjoyed at their peak, and combined together.
I've experienced a deeper grace, refinement, and timeless style that becomes more accessible when I apply this oil. I think of TM Beauty of Creation as the Jackie O of S+S beauty oils.
Those familiar with Jackie O's biography may recall that while she was born into more privilege, she also experienced betrayal, the loss of a child, and life partners during her lifetime. Yet somehow, she managed to endure and transform these painful experiences so that her soul shined more brilliantly and her grace transformed into nobility.
As a woman in my middle years, I've experienced my share of suffering and loss too. This is not special or unique or newsworthy. Yet when I wear this oil, I feel it somehow touches my soul so that I can transcend 'that' past and 'those' experiences so that I'm able to radiate more beauty into this world. That the boundaries of my Being expand to greet my future.
I notice other people looking at me differently. I notice that I am more able to enter co-creative spaces (with the universe, other beings, and myself) and look more into the possibility the future holds. I feel more optimism that humanity will continue to find beauty in these troubled times. I notice more reverence and appreciation for Gaia and the intricate beauty she shares.
I'll be purchasing the refill in future rounds. Highly recommend.
S+S beauty oils have become a staple in my skincare routine. I don't miss a full moon w/out applying LiC beauty oil. Anytime I go into the office the Venus Aerial Delight is on my face and neck. Asclepius is quickly becoming a daily go-to. Golden Titan oil is also amazing. But TM Beauty Oil is next level luxury and opulence. I've used it every day since its arrival, and while I thought I'd use it more sparingly because of the cost, I cannot stop applying it. The scent is incredible. Like being lost in a faerie world under a canopy of trees surrounded by every fresh smelling flower there is.... My skin is soaking it up and so happy. Aside from the obvious skin care benefits I've had nothing but positive encounters and serendipitous luck while using the beauty oil.
It is expensive and maybe not a realistic materia purchase for everyday use but I'm very pleased so far and will buy a refill once TM materia opens up again. If you're on the fence re this, I promise you'll be glad you own it.
