Ink + Skin Stain of Thema Mundi
An organic, alcohol-based ink-stain made from a combination of herbal matter from the 7 series comprising all of the sign-based placements in the Thema Mundi, the mythical “Birth Chart” of the World or Universe. These were integrated over 7-days of cloistered ritual, detailed extensively in the write-up.
Aids in the act of creation and state of understanding. Apply to the skin or paper, for petitions, sigils, and automatic writing or drawing.
Thema Mundi will be bottled to order exclusively by its Creatrix, in Miron violet glass akin to its altar cloth, preserving its contents for years to come.
This materia has been through 14 highly elected consecration procedures since 2019, in a process that is likely impossible to faithfully recreate for another 28-years. It is *extraordinarily powerful*, and limited edition in the truest sense.
Refills are now available for Clients who have ordered this item previously, who are in possession of its keepsake packaging. New orders will be cross-checked with past Thema Mundi history to verify eligibility. Refills can be smaller sizes than the original order, but not larger (someone who ordered a 1/2 oz Anointing Oil could order a 5 ml refill, but someone who ordered a 5 ml originally would not be eligible to procure a 1/2 oz refill. Refunds and cancellations will be made automatically for any mistake or violation.).

This is so precious, I use it to highlight petitions and sigils drawn in other inks in order to supercharge them and bring them into alignment with my overarching life plans. It's not only magically potent, but physically beautiful - a bottle full of stars...
This ink is incredible for sigil work, either using the ink to paint the sigils themselves, or using it to outline the sigil papers. Sigils using this ink seem to be supercharged - the magic works fast and dramatically, and the results are undeniable. I've not used this for a Black Book yet but am quite interested in doing so!
I’ve had TM since the first launch but only recently acquired the much anticipated and waited for Ink! It is a glittery galaxy in a bottle, and arrived just as I am beginning to build this new life I am working towards. As always with Thema Mundi, the synchronicities have been echoing for months now, but they are OFF THE CHARTS now. They remind me that the life I am building is so much bigger than I can imagine, that the very universe will assist and aide me in doing so.
I cannot thank Kaitlin ENOUGH for this magic. It works slooooooow, but like the glaciers, the epic shifts and changes echo throughout eternity. I’m convinced of it.
Venerable Master Barry Manilow sang truth in his hit 'I write the songs'. The lyric came from a Beach Boy, but Barry made it sing. Those words are deeply resonant with Thema Mundi, and I feel ever more part of this world's story dince making acquaintance eith this remarkable ink.
Others too have made themselves known. The 70 year old I spoke with for two hours on a train yesterday, describing her work making trophies and medals. How a colleague recently wrote 92 names on a two inch metal disk. She showed me an image of her oil painting depicting 80 year-old twin brothers still working other close-to-extinct skills in an area of the city I grew up in.
Generations before, my Huguenot ancestors came there from France, and may have done so to practice their own skills with jewellery. My grandmother Clara made her presence felt too. Cast from her home of decades by asbestos, I found a photo of her where it had no business being while I have been fielding it in mine. Next day I came across a Lord of the Rings oracle set, this one complete with Great Ring prop, and that oracle has been acute in its observations.
Since this ink entered my life at a demanding time, my sense of being woven into story has begun to reshape the ways I participate in the world's in this bizarre decade. Unlikely and beautiful encounters with people I've never met before are a richer and growing part of a life where they're already a feature. And in doing so my confidence that I and we will make it through an era polluted by techbro testosterone inkreases.
If you are trying to decide on what Thema Mundi forms are right for you, I can share what drew me to the ink + skin stain: versatility. One of my bigger asks of the Thema Mundi series in my journey is greater support of my voice and writing as a storyteller, so investing in the ink variant felt fitting to help drawn more opportunities into my life. Following other recommendations on this page, I have started integrating the ink in sigil creation. What has been an interesting side effect is that, for me, the ink has helped much more powerfully follow the "set it and forget it" intention of sigils themselves. What is incredibly focused and clear in the moment of writing has more easily disappeared from my head after it has been released. It seems all too on the nose that the ink itself seems to disappear, leaving only a dance of stars on the pages.
Additionally in terms of versatility, using the TM ink on my person in combination with the oil feels doubly impactful and precious though I have reserved these for particular opportunities where I wanted to embody specific intentional shifts in a given moment. In some ways, I almost imagine the skin stain aspect of the TM ink as long-range conditioning. On my "to try" list is integrating a bit of this stain into dyeing yarn for wearable magical fabric art.
As a small note, the violet glass is gorgeous and hides the sparkling glittery dance inside. Although it doesn't come with a brush like the other S+S inks, the bottle lip and opening are wide enough to dip in my glass ink pen.
This ink is perfect for activating sigils as many have mentioned and it also functions as a casual but potent wearable version of TM. Great for when I'm seeking a bit of alignment, when I want to engage creative energy and when I am seeking connection with the world around me in general.
If you work with the PGM, I highly recommend using this ink on your phylactery or for other workings that invite Big Change.
I've done the rite twice since getting this ink in the first release and it was the secret ingredient I didn't know I needed. I was waiting for...something. And this was it. Its also a gorgeous purple (similar in look to the butter ocean ink if you're familiar with it) but the vibes are turned way up. I use think ink sparingly and with deep intention due to the cost and limited nature of it. But I am SO glad I have it on hand for when I want BIG MAGIC.
I anoint each corner of a written petition with a dot of this ink. It makes me focus more on the intention and it really helps, in a quiet but powerful way.
I used the ink & stain to draw a sigil I’d created for my new business. Because TM doesn’t create instantaneous results, I will have to update in the future what magic unfolds. I can say that I was drawn to do this intuitively and there does seem to be some invisible, intangible force grounding and supporting.
Saturday morning ritual to anchor a fresh dream of wealth planning and structure building. Detailed petition consecrated at sunrise to support the last half of life... mundane results already unfolding as I easily open new accounts, pay off debts, find solid investment, and take care of long standing loose ends. This will be a transformative year, placing me firmly in a better position than I would be if I hadn't let TM join me on this maturing adventure. Grateful.
I used this during a Black Book consecration (from Aidan Wachter's Weaving Fate), and just holding it during the ritual was incredibly powerful... full body tingles and chills, like I had been plugged into the universe. There were two times that I used it during the ritual, and a couple of other times that I have touched the bottle since then, and every time my reaction is the same. This stuff has power, and is not to be used lightly, but it is definitely something I want to find more opportunities to explore. Just incredible, and definitely makes me want to get some additional TM materia in the next round. If you're on the fence about it, but you don't yet have a working you could use it for, get some and keep it until the time comes... and it will.
Just holding this ink gives a rush of sensation. It feels absolutely ALIVE and the glimmer/sparkles in it seem to dance with promise. I got this as part of my Thema Mundi round two order and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend a brush pen--I got a fancy Japanese calligraphy pen--because unlike other S+ inks the cap for this one does not come with an applicator. Excited to see what unfolds with this one. Highly recommend!
This ink, before it even arrived, started a deepening and clarifying process that has led me down alleyways of truth and wisdom. I feel more connected to my Source, capable of dealing with difficulty and open to finding the divine in everyone I meet. I did not know what this ink was going to do. I just felt called to it immediately. It’s the only materia from S+S I own and I think it was a great place to begin.
I've been working with the ink/skin stain and the first time I ever showed another person (without telling them about it) they could tell exactly where I'd placed the ink on the sigil and that it was "alive." I work with sigils a lot in my practice and the potency of anything written in this ink is palpable. The picture is of the Ink/Stain and Anointing Oil on my altar.
Thema Mundi ink arrived alone, a full week before my other TM items. I'm not particularly eclipse adverse or able to wait so I opened this magically charged little bottle of darkness and sparkle. The scent reminds me of German Christmas cookies in the best of ways. The color IS ‘the universe’ if GALAXY was a color that's the color of this ink. It's COLD to the touch, and blueish sparkle star laden. Prior to trying other forms of TM materia I used the ink... on myself... forehead, neck, shoulders... and each evening I used the ink I experienced the most lush, vivid, fantastic lucid dreams I have ever had in my life. Dreams that morphed into daytime reality.
I plan to use the ink on sigils, spells, and candles too, but thus far the results on my own body have been astounding. And the scent is incredible. I could eat it, but I wont.
