Tincture of Venus’ Aerial Delight

I find VAD material feels very subtle compared to other Venus materia I use but the long term effects have been rewarding. Regular use of this tincture has helped me tolerate...people. My chart is fire dominate and my communication style can be sharp and overly direct. This is great in a lot of ways but it not every interaction needs to be probing and unfiltered. I tend to go out of my way to avoid getting "trapped" in chitchat and casual interactions, which is isolating and awkward. VAD material a small talk sponsor, easing light conversation and keeping everything polite. I have re-upped on this tincture to specifically pursue this course as one person's idle chatter is another person's social reciprocity.

Okay I must say the minute I used that tincture I was like "that's it, that's my favorite S+S materia!" and I was not exaggerating. I'm wayyy less bratty and moody when I use it (I'm a bit hot-headed by nature), it seems to calm my nervous system as well. I once engaged in an annoying dialogue when I had this on me and the next day I woke up and thought I was wayyyy to nice haha. So yes, it makes you very diplomatic and charming.

The first day I used it I randomly found myself making double chocolate cookies and then I made myself a lil spa sesh, which I wasn't planning at all. Also, for my musically inclined people: engaging in playing instruments and singing comes soooo effortlessly and sweet-sounding with this.

The smell tho... It literally smells like maggi seasoning, which honestly... I personally don't mind smelling like a chicken broth at all haha but it's definitely not the sweet candy-like smell of the exalted Venus materia.

I've had better success with Venus in Libra since I specifically started using the materia to feel good in my home (Libran 4th house). When I don't have time to brew the steep herbs, I use this in my water and consume, usually in the evening. It helps me feel calm and like I belong in my space.

i love this tincture soooo much. i am big on Venus devotion, and this has made me feel closer to her than ever. Sometimes I use it in lieu of an oil when i don't want the residue of an oil, or especially since I've run out of my oil. I'll anoint candles with it, too. I love that it's multi use. It's just brought me closer to Venus in devotion and also evens me out, makes me feel calmer. I'm grateful for this materia.

This tincture has become my favorite way to interact with my Venus materia. Im libra rising and I love how this election plays out in my nativity. During my Venus devotion days I use my kolonia then my oil and the cherry on top is this tincture. Love the taste too

So I really want to say tinctures are quickly becoming one of my favorite forms, but also, I feel like at this point I just keep falling in love with forms over nd over again. Anyway! This tincture is divine. I have been using it as I megadose Venus materia in a concentrated Venusian devotion cycle and it is very, very good. Since starting this cycle, I have raised my rates, I have deepened my relationships, I have navigated really intense and challenging trauma healing with grace for myself and those around me. I have also been SEEN much more and it's felt great instead of terrifying. While I've been using a LOT of materia, this tincture has been clutch and I can't recommend it more.

I slept on this series for way too long and hoo boy am I kicking myself now. It is a Libra's personal growth lightning bolt. It powerfully counters the inclination to mirror others' emotions, absorb others' moods, take responsibility for others' reactions to things, and generally try to be in everyone's feelings with them all at once. "Diplomacy" can feel kind of disingenuous to some of us (and by extension, unkind), which we very much want to avoid, and that's how we get into trouble! This tincture was my survival elixir for the April 2024 Aries total solar eclipse, and I'm immediately starting a pretty focused attunement period with it, because it's really a game changer for my interactions with others and how those leave me feeling.

This tincture is divine. I find myself reaching for tinctures after I have worked with the other forms in a series for a while in most cases and I did that with VAD. I initially didn't care for the oil but I microdosed my way into more self love--that was my resistance in hindsight so I am glad I waited to partake in this tincture. I do take the risk and add 1-2 drops to my water and find its SUCH a great value when worked with this way.

I prefer this series to Exalted Venus for social events and being more of a social butterfly than I would normally be in large group settings. I love the flavor of this tincture especially - it’s caramel-y and rich.

The tincture makes me high on Venus energy and feels overpowering almost when used internally. I prefer to use it for external purposes. Very little needed as effect is profound. I might be more sensitive because of my Libra stellium though.
