I struggle working up the spoons to do a full cleansing ritual most of the time, and this is wonderful in getting a full body cleanse without as much effort. Grounding, clearing, energetically balancing and easy to take. Great in the AM or PM, really fits whatever the need is.
I'm a huge fan of this series! I have the lip balm, spell soap, water and the kolonia. The spell soap is rich and grounding, with a smooth lather and, yes - some exfoliant properties, which can be avoided if you don't scrub the soap directly onto your skin (as you wish).
I use the soap as a release after more energetically dense days, or if any maladies or sicknesses begin to appear. I've also used it as a cleanser/ prepper before deeper ritual work. It's extremely effective, comforting yet powerfully healing, aiding and deeply supportive.
I've said it before and I'll say it again-- in a house fire situation (God forbid) you grab the following in order 1) kids/animals 2) Grandma/pa's precious heirlooms and 3) anything from the Asclepius collection. This stuff is miraculous, and the soap is such a wonderful all-purpose cleanser that is just really a must have for your spiritual practice.
Such a staple for me. I love the Asclepius bath salts for really deep clearing, but this is a wonderful way to shake off the day in a pinch. I love to follow up with the oil to feel super cleansed and refreshed from the soap, and sealed with the oil. I also will notice physical releases happening as I'm washing with this soap - for example, when washing my chest, I'll suddenly feel like my lung capacity grew much larger and take a super deep breath. I try not to go without this ever!
Beautiful light scent and great to pair with malefic series soaps (Mars-Jupiter, Saturn in Capricorn, Saturn in Aquarius) that offer great magical purposes but might have some achy or ouchie side effects. I keep this spell soap in my bathroom and use it at least once a week.
Additional reactions + helpful advice:
1) of all the S+S soaps I own, this one is hands down the most scratchy (very grateful for Kaitlin's disclaimers!) For everyone, but especially if you have sensitive skin, please use a bathing intermediary (sponge, washcloth) vs. scrubbing directly on the skin. It doesn't take much agitation to get foamy and spreadable.
2) I recommend using the spell soap AFTER a good regular soap + exfoliation to get the most potent cleanse, especially if you do not have the time or ability to do a full ritual bath cleanse.
3) If you have a problem area you'd like to focus on your body, you can do spot treatment but consider thinking about how to support to all the body parts work together as a whole. For example, if you have a sore left arm, give some TLC to the left arms and trapezius, neck, head, etc. This has been an interesting tool in helping understand sources of pain, referred pain points, and how the body will try to compensate for these little pains too.
4) I always use this spell soap alongside an additional layer of spiritual support post-bath or shower such as a kolonia, oil, BB, salve, or otherwise from the Asclepius series or another S+S series to "lock in" and support the good health vibes. YMMV: I felt a wee bit overexposed a few times when I only used the spell soap alone in a public-facing industry with a lot of passionate personalities and extremes!
This soap is great for a quick energetic cleanse shower or before a full ritual bath. Its purpose as soap and magical material are both excellent!

It's the first S+S soap I've used, and I'm really glad I tried it, even though it's not the first Asclepius item in my practice. All of them have been really good to my health, both physical and spiritual. They're all very purifiying, but the soap takes it to a next level of cleansing. I've used it a lot after an accident that left me with wounds, and it's helped with the cicatrization and feeling better. It's also really good after having to deal with dense energies or feeling a little sick or in pain. Love the scent too !
The Asclepius spell soap is the most impactful spiritual cleansing materia I’ve used. It’s like freshly cleaned skin with a primer on top, leaving you spiritually prepped for whatever you go with next. I recently used this one before using the Thema Mundi beauty oil and it was the perfect way to introduce myself to that materia. The Asclepius soap cleared any gunk that would prevent me from ~feeling~ the TM magick. I’m on my second slab of this soap and I really would stock up on like 6 more so I wouldn’t worry about running out, but I have some other priorities right now. Working with Asclepius is fantastic for gaining access to proper medical help and for finding proper treatment and any form from this series, when used in prayer to Asclepius (IME), will get you those things. But if you’re not focused on any health issues, it’s tremendously helpful for clearing your auric, energetic, and spiritual slate. You aren’t left with nothing! It’s just clearing all the shit that gets stuck to you, or the difficult shit that comes up with regular old life that needs to be cleared regularly. I love using this with exfoliating gloves for an extra “CLEEAAANNNNN” feeling.
I got Asclepius oil first and didn’t have the results I had hoped for. I then got the soap and salts. I have had wonderful results and I had deepened my connection with Asclepius as well. I had a swollen lymph node go away overnight after using soap, salts and oil. I’m very grateful to the Devine Physician.

I especially enjoy spell soaps as they allow me to jump in the shower and simply make my way into ritual. Straight to it. It’s also an experience as someone who deeply appreciates the ease of ritual in water. I return to this one to reset, cleanse and prime. Like an energetic clearing away of anything I’ve been exposed to or am carrying with. I especially enjoy at the start of my day before meditation. This is an energetic-hygiene must to have on hand.
My favorite cleansing format is the kolonia, followed by bath salts. The soap is a great option to use when showering, but I just don't vibe with it in quite the same way. The bar has an energy that I can feel when I'm holding it in my hands, and there's a faint zing when it passes over my skin, but I don't really feel any different when I get out of the shower. I should try using it in a bath when I can really relax and focus on the sensations.
You can really feel the energetic deep cleanse with this soap. You do not have to use it every day, smells really good and cleanses all the energetic junk that you have carried all day. Physical cleanse + energetic cleanse in one step. One down side is that it can be really scratchy.

I had a period of time when I was using Saturn materia for days on end in order to tackle moving to another state. I have never felt so clean, both physically and spiritually, as I have after scrubbing the crap out of myself with Asclepius soap on a salux cloth in a nice hot shower. It’s like having a mini ritual bath but it only takes a couple of minutes. Spiritually exfoliating in the best possible way!
This soap kept being out of stock whenever I looked for it, but I was finally able to get some for myself! So thrilled because it is honestly a game changer. I've used many options for my cleansing showers (when a cleansing bath isn't practical or available) and this it THEE one. I leave my shower feeling clean and clear, spiritually and physically scrubbed. I store mine in a white container with the Asclepius sticker on top and I like how that looks too. The smell is nice and the feeling even better. Like all Asclepius offerings, this is excellent, easy for anyone to use, and very potent.
S+S soaps are my most-used materia, and this one is a staple. I use this one after working an emotionally draining job (sometimes also scrubbing myself with Asclepius bath salts on a particularly icky-feeling night). I also use it to reset when feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or physically stagnant.
The soap form in general makes it easy and natural to connect with ritual and devotion on a daily basis, even on days when I find it very hard to do much of anything at all.
I find the Asclepius series to be a staple for me as I am going through acupuncture school and treating patients. This soap is another wonderful addition to my usage of this line for cleansing my body/spirit and also supporting healing my own health issues (skin). so the soap I appreciate as I target it towards areas of eczema and the light exfoliation provides a nice gentle scrubbing to the dry skin.
My nightly go to during eclipses or personal times of distress. Layered with smoke bath and oil and other material in this series for heavy duty wipe slate clean. My fave Asclepius series so far
Highly recommend getting your daily (or regular if that's too scrapey) dose of energetic hygiene whilst in the shower. Works great lathered into the hair too when combined with shampoo. It kinda lathers best when in contact with hair if that makes sense? Also in the same vein, prefer to wet a washcloth and immerse the soap in that to get the most out of it and prevent as much from going straight down the drain as possible.
I can get overloaded these days, which can make it difficult for me to know what I need. I can't do the full ritual bathing protocol as much as I'd like to, so this is a great alternative for me that is still quite effective. Helps clear off things you forget are lingering.
This one packs a punch in the best way!! It's now a staple item in my ritual bathing routine, priming myself for entering the tub. Also great for when you're feeling overloaded in any capacity, wanting a clean slate. I enjoy rinsing off with this soap before using the Deneb Algedi kolonia + incense + oil/salve, for a much-needed energetic reset. Smells and feels fresh and invigorating!
I have been using the Asclepius spell soap along with the anointing oil. Since using the series I've been able to sleep better as I struggle with insomnia. I've also begun having more intense dreams and more frequent nightmares. It really brings to the surface ailments that need to be tended to so you can do the work. Once I understood why I was having these strange and usual nightmares it's been supportive in helping me to alchemize trauma and old wounds both emotional and physical. After frequent and consistent use the nightmares have subsided.
One way I use the soap in addition to cleansing the body is to wash my scalp after using a clarifying shampoo. Still one of my favorite ways to use the soap 🙂
I'm trying not to become a hoarder of this soap. Smell is INCREDIBLE - makes you feel refreshed and invigorated on aromatics alone. But more importantly this INSTANTLY and FULLY cleans: energy I've absorbed from others, sickness, germs, stress, general "heaviness" or malaise. I bring my toughest emotional states to this soap and am always amazed and how quickly they are lifted.
I adore this soap. It’s a great assist for me at the start of my day just before sitting to meditate. It helps to reset my energy before the day begins. Leaving me clearer and more poised for stillness during my daily meditation practice. There’s an internal quietness that allows me to be present for what wants to come through during. Deeply grateful for it.
This soap is truly phenomenal. Aside from its very powerful and effective energetic cleansing capabilities, the quality of the soap itself is like nothing I have ever experienced. It is so rich and abundant in its lather…I only use what I lather in my hands and it spreads and covers my whole body. This soap is a powerful reminder of the high level skill set of its maker…this is master soap making folks. This is daily energetic hygiene at its finest.
