Bluing of Deneb Algedi II
Bluing is a common laundry additive used to make linens appear whiter and stave off the natural yellowing of soil over time. It was adopted by Hoodoo and Folk Magic practitioners as a means of purification and protection, to promote luck and to drive away evil.
Consecrated Deneb Algedi herbal mix tinctured in whisky, alongside colloidal gold and bluing formula. Add a few drops to glasses of water and put them on wealth altars for protection, maleficia and Evil Eye aversion.
Fill and seal small vials to bury at the edges or entries of your property; keep a fresh bowl by the entryways of the home and office. Store a small vial in your purse or wallet to protect against theft. Use to launder ritual raiments or clothing before meetings with those in power, including judges, bosses, and law enforcement.

Please Note: To promote the longest shelf-life possible and reduce the likelihood of leaking during transit, Bluing now arrives sealed with a flat closed cap, with a glass dropper bulb + 5 ml Mini vial for collecting the displaced excess on the side (for travel or gifting!).
We suggest only inserting the bulb during periods of routine application, and keeping the flat cap for times of dormant or less active use, especially since droppers can allow for evaporation and discoloration over time.

I love bluing of DAII. I washed my work uniforms in this bluing when I was working at a particularly haunted place in a high-visibility job and was absolutely afforded great protection from both living and dead! The one time I didn't have a bluing-washed uniform bc I missed laundry day, the most notable ghost at work latched on to me and stuck with me for a couple weeks until I finally figured out what was going on and exorcised him with flowers and smoke and encouragement to move on. Shortly after, I stopped working in the wing of the building that he had haunted, and my coworkers stopped feeling him or getting reports of sightings... was that DA's doing as well? Maybe! It's amazing stuff!
When people disapear of your life just after you ordered deneb algedi materia, take it as revelation that they didn't have good intentions. Notice it. Don't chase them for explanation. Their gosting is deneb protection. Work with deneb if you don't want to waste your time. He also attract wealth.
He also make people reveal their lies and incoherences, don't neglect it. Even if you are under strong neptune transit that dissolved your mental clarity, paid attention to all unclear behavior from people, its deneb warning.

One of my favorite parts of liquid-based materia is how versatile they are/how easy it is to "stretch" the effects of the materia. I love using this in wards and in laundry loads when I need that extra bit of protection. DA is such a calming presence, and I feel so reassured when I can just add that extra oomph to my wards or loads. It's also just really satisfying to see a drop of the bluing dissipate into and color the water
I use this as a protective element in my childrenās bedrooms. I add it to water in a jar and check on it from time to time. A few years ago when I was new to this work I noticed the bluing would ācatchā lots of murky slimy āthingsā. Since Iāve become aware and better at spiritual hygiene I notice that I donāt need to change the bluing out very as I used to.
For me this bluing is very protective, effective and was one of the first ways I could see the magic working. Which was very helpful as a newbie. And doubly helpful as a mom making sure her kids were protected.

I love adding this to my baths and always to my laundry, especially with work clothes. It is remarkable how much of a difference it has made in my work life which has drastically improved my everyday life. I am beyond grateful.
I like to put four drops to a decorative bottle of water I keep by the entrance door to my house. I also like to add a drop or two in a water with salt and rosemary and submerge in it my crystals for cleansing. I usually do it in a glass bowl and on a sunny day, placing it in the sunlight for a few minutes as I say the hymn calling upon the light of Daneb Algedii (courtesy and thoughtfulness of Sphere and Sundry, of course). Occasionally, I do add a few drops to the washing machine with washing ā specifically bedding when Iāve suffering from a bad spell of nightmares or clothes if Iāve been to any āin betweenā places (hospitals, cemeteries, etc.) or experienced a particularly bad vibe or interaction.
I keep a cup of water with a drop of bluing next to my bed. It has aided me and protected me in the dream realm by revealing bad people to me. Iām very grateful to Sky Grandpa!
With a few drops added to laundry, a floor wash, or placed around ward jars in the house, this materia brings a feeling of clean security to one's being.
If you're having nightmares, add salt and a few drops of this to a glass of water by your bedside. But don't accidentally drink it first thing in the morning!
This is a more quotidian form of the materia, more of a quiet hum in the background than a loud siren. Good to add to spray bottles with the salt to line the perimeter of the property.
I can't believe I've never written a review for this! DA II Bluing was one of the first items I ever got from S+S and its one of the most indispensable. I started with bluing jars at the threshold and on my protection altar, and those have done amazing work. But I also added one between my work computer monitor and myself, and another by my bedside. Both of those tend to get much grosser much faster than the jars by the door! It's really opened my eyes to how much gnarly energy is just pouring into my via my computer and during my dream time. This is one of my clutch items of materia...I never want to be without it, and I would recommend it to literally anyone!
I love how versatile this is. I've used it in bowls of water, added to my laundry, and in small vials as protective gifts to friends. It's energetically so friendly for what it accomplishes - definitely my favourite of the Saturnian-type protective materia. I also find it's really responsive when used in bowls of water - how it dries up/or not seems to indicate to me where more warding may be needed.
Iāve added this onto my floor wash and it gives the room a sense of security and calmness. For days as I was attuning to this series, I was seeing evil eye amulets in the most inconspicuous of spaces out in public.
I use a few drops of this in a floor wash for my home as it's outstanding for protection. I absolutely love everything from this series!
I received this as a gift from a friend to help with protection work. Immediately out of the wrapping, it was introducing itself to me with affection and desire to set up bluing jars without fanfare. This has now become a staple, particularly for my workspace and my nightstand! Gentle enough for use with/around my kids.
I am just getting started using this bluing and I am digging it so far! I have a little jar by the front door, one in my bedroom, and one in my vehicle and I have a small spray bottle with some Asclepius Kolonia for protecting and cleansing my space. I can feel the protective energy of this bluing and I am so grateful for all of these offerings. I intend to update this review when I have more specific instances of protection to share!
I've protected the threshold of my home with a small cup of bluing liquid + water, and haven't noticed strong effects. That seemed good enough as is, that nothing bad has happened, but alongside that, my relationship with my landlords has warmed considerably in the last few months, and I feel much more comfortable on the land where I live.
I carry a vial of this wherever I go and this has been super helpful especially these days .
Grandpa Algedi is on every corner of my house in tiny bottles. It blows my mind when I see these bottles broken or by suddenly being unwrapped from tight packaging tape. To me, it is a way of Grandpa telling me how someone out there tried to bring me harm and how Grandpa prevented it from even getting close to me. I am not superstitious, but I cannot think of a better explanation of my whys.
This is the strongest protective materia I have encountered. It can even warn you of things on the horizon. I feel confident having this around for post cleansing baths and as needed.
after getting into ritual baths, I purchased the DA bluing to use for that and other protective work. it's so useful! I've also made bluing jars for my home/cars/person. I put some bluing in a variety of sprays I like to make out of materia for clearing, protection, focus, and uplift. Like all DA, pairs well with anything you can imagine!
My DAII altar box got me through a really tough time in my life. I used all of the things- I wore my Talisman, I burned by candle and bathed every thing in incense smoke. I'm no longer hanging on by a thread, and it's mostly socked away for any future financial/otherwise threats, but I continue to use bluing. It really supports a safe comfortable home (and car and office)
I recently did a deep spring cleansing in my home and placed this in every corner. Iāve never felt so at ease and unbothered by anything happening around my home. Even those who enter are respectful and donāt cross any boundaries! This will be a forever staple.
I popped online to grab restock of this because it's absolute magic and very powerful. My DA salts have turned a mossy green and my bluing is kinda balled up in globs which is when I know it's done it's work and when I need to replace my littls vials. Ordering restock as soon as it's available and you should to.

Use it to protect my property, person, and get my money when the Sun transited DA. Sky pappy handles it and brings the hammer with little effort or pushback. Put few drops in the bath when I want to get into legacy building mode, dilute with water/essential oils and mist the house. Put a drop on a tea light. Saving the majority for justice in legal matters through the nodal transits in Aries/Libraā¦Iām feeling lucky.
I was over doing it initially. I started to lose sleep and my appetite with an oppressive energy looming down, constricting. Might also complicate relationships with authority, as it attracts attention to you good bad or ugly, so use sparingly! However, if youāre not a wicked POS, you should pass the stress test. Encourages justice and integrity.
Every offering in this series is so 100% reliable that I use a bunch for various things and don't entirely know which one to give credit to, honestly. I ward my home with bluing and incense and wear the oil and body butter, and they've all kept me safe and secure (in feeling and also in concrete reality) every time I use them. Notably, an area of my home that hadn't been warded (an external garage) was broken into, but the rest of the house remained untouched. I wear the topicals for long drives, and have been safe from a lot of near misses from reckless drivers on the road. I spray the windows and doorways of the house with DAII oil in water before I leave my dog at home alone. I sprinkled the powder on a garden plant that was being ravaged by local animals, which promptly stopped (I actually didn't think that one would work, but it did!). I get somewhat mixed results with almost every series I engage with (usually depending on my mood and motivation when I use it, as I'm usually trying at least in part to modify my person, rather than just my external circumstances), except this one, which is the most consistent I've ever worked with. Pick your form as you will, basically, because this series works in any of them.
I really enjoyed making the bluing vials (which I used with repurposed vials that previously contained bath materia for my own cleansing work years ago), and adding them around my apartment, in my bags, etc. A little goes such a long way so I know the tincture bottle will last me a long time. I can see it working in how some vials are muddy/evaporated while others look pristine. Super grateful to have DA support in this form as I love this series. It feels very stabilizing and supportive in my work and daily life!
Purchased when I felt like the evil eye was on me in my work place. A lot of the individuals I was having difficulties with either smoothed over or were suddenly left making my day to day routines at work MUCH better.
Funnily enough right after purchasing this, my partner decided we needed security cameras for our space, unbeknownst that I had made this purchase. Also got a new CC as my bank had detected some suspicious activity and shut down my current one.
I had ordered this along with a few other items, and I had received the notification that my package bad been delivered. When I went to check the package room in my building... nothing there. I searched all over the building to see if someone had stolen it and dumped the box, so at least I would know if I should wait for USPS or report it stolen. After 20 minutes or so of searching, I went back to the package room, and there it was! The box had been opened and rifled through, but the only offering that had been unwrapped was the DA Bluing. Whoever had thought about nicking it had unwrapped the DA Bluing and thought better of it and returned the package. I have had many packages stolen living in New York for 20 years, but I've never, ever had one returned after it was opening, and I put all that down to DA saying, "No, buddy, behave yourself."
I work in a job thatās very prone to recurrent boundary crossing, and I have a lifelong habit of trying to feel peoples feelings for and with them.
Using this bluing creates a sense of protection that initially felt very uncomfortable, but am getting used to. Iām definitely learning about energetic protection and how to relate with people without crossing their or my energetic boundaries.
Iāve been using it to make wards, with success, but I realized itās potency after putting some blueing in the ritual bathing protocol. My partner and I were both able to do what needed to be done in some spheres of our life where we needed to install some boundaries. I couldnāt recommend more this very versatile item.
