I like this candle and use it with ritual baths, often where I'm trying to release resentment while keeping to my truths. The candle is really lasting a long time!
However it seemed like the wick was out of alignment, it is off center after only a couple of sessions and the glass on the side of the jar is burnt/ashy. I always had on a flat surface with no wind or air movement, I'm not sure what happened. IDK if any spiritual significations, but I feel disappointed since this was not a cheap purchase.

At times when I am sad and there's no one to run to, I lit my candle and talk to it like talking to someone who always have known my ups and downs, no need to go thru history. I feel the warmth and like someone is really there comforting and listening.

This is the first S + S candle I purchased, and having used it I can understand the hype! I do a candle burning ritual for Deneb Algedi every week, and I decided to get one of the "official" shorty candles for it earlier this year.

There is such a sense of *presence* when the wick is lit. Such *gravitas*, but also pleasant to be around. Highly, highly recommend.

Overall, Deneb Algedi has been a wonderful ally for the past couple of years, and I'm grateful that S + S introduced me to Them.

I've already sung DA oil's praises as a compact and convenient piece to carry and wear on me, but this candle is perfect for protecting my home environment. I've lit it whenever I'm having issues with neighbors or particularly bad energy that I feel I've inadvertently brought in from others - the candle works well with a meditation/prayer to bring peace and protection back into my place.

This offering has been so kind to me and mine. The protection and preservation of well being received when I ignite this candle has come to my family, my neighbors, my friends, myself and the land and structure that shelters me. There have been challenges to the health of all the aforementioned and my application of Deneb Algedi has been generous (it’s become the go to, like an immune booster), but the consequences have been equally generous. I’m not knowledgeable about astro magic, I’m merely fortunate to have paid attention to a few mentions here and there and happily stumbled on Sphere and Sundry. And this has been a reliable easy to use wonder.

This candle was super helpful during storm season this winter here in North California. The amount of rain that fell led to temporary flooding in some areas and after use of this candle I felt much better and any leaks that happened before did not reoccur. We even had one storm happening in all areas around us but at our location just drilling. Very powerful protection remedy.

This was my first S + S candle purchase. I had already found a guided candle meditation for healing and protection that was helpful to me, but this candle took it to a whole different level. Sometimes when I'm done meditating I don't even want to blow the candle out, because it feels like a wise, compassionate presence.

Ok this candle is now gone because I leaned on this materia heavily! I would regularly light it when there was a storm or tornado warning in my area where they’re going wild these days. It really helped give me piece of mind to pray to deneb algedi, anoint myself, and light this candle. As it ended, I used the hot wax to form a small figure to keep. Also a note for fellow scent-sensitive folks—no candles from S+S I have tried have a strong smell. Or really any smell. For devotionals this is perfect. I cannot handle scented candles so buying them was a risk but I was not disappointed!

Now I know why other S+S customers rave about the candles! I purchased a short pillar from the DA II series, on a hunch from a reading session I did before the holidays, and I’m so glad I followed my intuition on this one. The wick burns well, and the flame is surprisingly tall for such a relatively small candle! It also arrived with some of the DA powder pressed into the top, which was a great addition. I consecrated the candle during my monthly DA ritual, and lighting it for the first time was a powerful experience. I’ve found that I receive clearer messages during these monthly sessions, now that I’m burning the candle as an offering. I also like to set some of my warding items on the altar to charge them in the candle’s light. It’s been very effective, in my experience, and it’s also convenient at the same time. I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford more candles from S+S in the future, as it was admittedly a stretch for my budget, but I would absolutely recommend them to those who have the money!

I can't believe there are a few shorties left in stock. GET THIS CANDLE! I have been tempted the last few months to just scoop them all up and hoard them, but that definitely goes against Deneb Algedi's virtues of fairness and right action, LOL. This candle has helped me learn to trust divine law, brought justice into a conflict that I'm in, and shone a light where I myself had to be of higher integrity. DA's lessons aren't always easy, but over steady applied effort over time, brings incredible self-respect. Self-esteem comes from esteemable actions, and DA is a great teacher and facilitator of those actions.
