This incense has become an integral part of my weekly ancestral rituals. The fragrance evokes a bittersweet note, but there is something so gentle and soothing about it that makes it perfect for the work of connecting with my beloved and well intended dead.
This incense might be the most economical way to majorly upgrade your magical abilities that I’ve personally come across. The first time I worked with it, I simply said the included prayer, lit up the incense, and almost immediately sunk into a trance as the Way was opened. This experience has made me recognize that intermediary spirits might be some of the most important ones I work with (YMMV, of course) as I knew that Hermanubis would ensure that the Shade on the other end of the line was indeed who I requested. I’m sure there are other techniques to do as much, but the immediate accessibility of Hermanubis via this materia seems hard to beat.
