I generally don’t have time to take full ritual baths, but I just used a few pinches in a muslin bag in the shower on Tuesday, and it felt great. Spicy like Exalted Sol, but less bright/energizing and more grounded/mature/focused. It smells like a classy gentleman’s lounge (picture dark wood, whiskey, leather, cigar smoke), but all the scents come together to have an almost sweet undertone. Definitely more approachable and pleasant than I thought Martial energy could be.

WOW these salts smell so good. I haven’t used them much as the series is so new, so I will come back and update this review at a later date with more information. That said, like all the bath salts and S&S salts in general, these are so versatile. I mix a small tsp with my bath salt mix I make and add to my bath water, or to a small spray bottle with witch hazel because this series doesn’t have any ritual salt (boo). Energizing, but not too *hot* like Antares can be. I also feel like this has been the most approachable Mars materia I have ever used and I am just in love with the energy in general. But in the bath, while not relaxing (hello, Mars?) I can feel big cloud daddy’s presence and feel comforted, safe, supported and nurtured all in one. I have been able to get a lot of tasks done I’d needed to with all the energy and more needed. Don’t sleep on these bath salts - they’re amazing.
