Fiery Wall of Protection Incense + Powder
A combination of chili, cayenne, and aleppo peppers, ceylon cinnamon, ginger, rainbow peppercorn, pink Himalayan salt, and angelica root, fumigated in a Fiery Wall ritual conducted by Austin Coppock.
High concentrations of red sandalwood, frankincense, gold standard myrrh, and dragon’s blood, with 24k gold. Palo santo, nutmeg, blood orange, and clove.
Burn as an offering to protective Spirits, including Archangel Michael, who was mentioned in this series’ conjuration.
Fumigate to aggressively banish and cleanse auras + spaces (spicy! keep a window open! use something balancing afterward!).
As a magical powder, sprinkle in mojo bags and spell jars for protection, and dress candles for protective workings.
Note that Sphere + Sundry’s Incense Powders are designed to be burned *without* charcoal, on beds of premium ash in a firesafe dish or plate. Pour ash, then pat or use a tool to create a relatively smooth surface. Pour the desired amount of Incense Powder into the palm of your non-dominant hand, and use the other to assemble a thin peaked mound, line, or sigil, pinch by pinch. These can be quite thin if desired. The neater and more ridged your shape is, the better it will burn! Light the top of the ridge to ignite.
Taking time to prepare Incense in this way can be a meditative and centering experience, and allows the practitioner to create custom burn times with zero waste. If your line ends up too long, simply use a knife to ‘cut’ the fresh powder away from the ignited portion to use later.

I used this powder to perform ritual for my brother who was dealing with a contentious co-parent in court. It's been 3 weeks and she has been fully cooperative and stopped instigating police threats, child withholding threats, and more. Excited to see the magic continue to work.
I used this powder in a freezer spell as described on the info sheet to quiet the trash talking and demonization I was facing from someone in my extended community. It worked so quickly to quiet the noise, which save me the effort of having to call on mediators.
This is perhaps an unorthodox approach to this series materia, but I added nearly a tablespoon to about 3 ounces of shampoo and I am blown away by the results. First of all I got the smaller size bottle of the incense/powder and despite that very large amount used, it hardly looks like I used anything. This stuff is packed SO TIGHT we are getting FAR more materia than is suggested by the container sizes. Second of all this has been really good for my scalp! I have some scalp issues like dandruff AND seborrheic dermatitis and my scalp feels a lot better after several days using this mix. My hair is also resisting getting oily far longer, which is a god damn miracle, and my hair has a bit more volume than usual. In terms of the magick, using this in shampoo feels like I’m scrubbing away energetic detritus and keeping it off. I’m not intentionally directing the energy anywhere, but have been using the bath salts to scrub my body of any malefic intent thrown toward me and any I may unintentionally be accumulating on my own, and this is really adding to the cleansing. My head and (energetically) the auric space above my head, feel lighter and clearer.
I used this powder to help my daughter when she was having real difficulties with a very unbalanced person at her school. This powder (along with other material from this series) stopped my daughter from being targeted and harassed by this girl and cleared the way for her to focus on her exams. She now carries a little vial in her bag. Great product!
Warm, reassuring, and deeply protective. I have used it for a few clearings and it is quite potent when burning - it has triggered my asthma a few times, which actually makes a lot of sense because clearing in my vessel frequently happens through the lungs. It burns hot and then leaves the space feeling fresh and light.
I haven’t burned this as incense, but I’ve worked with it in powder form to ward the edges of my property and shortly after, a troublesome neighbor moved away. I’ve also combined some powder with melted beeswax + oil to make a topical version to smear on things and that also works really nicely to maintain an energetic barrier.
I got Fiery Wall oil, incense and ritual salts when i wasn't feeling spiritually safe. Deneb Alegdi ended up being my main go to for spiritual protection and I found spiritual cleansing baths to be enough for me. However, I love having the Fiery Wall materia for physical protection for my home. I keep it near the house entrance with a wooden carved piece of ArchAngel Michael. Its presence is reassuring for me. I intend to use it on Sunday on my property while asking ArchAngel Michael for protection as I read that Sundays are like his office hours.
I bought this at the beginning of the year, and since me and my family have noticed a drastic increase in our security and peace of mind. I definitely recommend this to people looking for a little more defense.
Used the incense powder mixed with ritual salts and black salt all along my property line after a string of daily break-ins in my neighborhood and this magic literally caused a break-state in robberies — no robberies for weeks! And then very infrequent robberies until I re-applied this mix to my property line again. This stuff really works!
where do I start with this materia. It’s such a vast asset to have on hand for protection. I’ve anointed all outside egress doors to our home, and used as a floor wash upon first receiving it too. I can only imagine the hits this materia has taken for me and my family since upping my wards with it because we’ve had a lot of turmoil with a certain teenager and his getting involved in groups at school that are not good influences on him to say the least. I have added a bit of this incense to his shoes with prayers to protect him. A lot of what he’s been up to has come to light since then, so that as parents we can better support and protect him from the shit out there in the world. I’m so grateful for this materia!
The scent was not nearly as pungent as the series writeup led me to fear - I burned it outside and had no problems being near it. Left a perceptible field of effect around my home, as intended
I went right to buying the big pot of this because I want a stock of this on hand at all times. Upon opening the package I felt the most overwhelming relief at having the materia in hand. Like a big hug - so this has been surprisingly gentle yet also fierce AF. Already used in ritual and in upping my wards around home and property. Serious magic. The smoke IS definitely spicey as in the write up but I actually really like the smell. Definitely do use outdoors in ritual space.
So far I have only used this one time, to create front and back door wards for my apartment. The feeling of this incense/poweder is HEAVY and STRONG… while unboxing my (very martial orange) cat jumped up on the table out of curiosity and I quickly saw to getting him the F** off the table! …which ….a very uncharacteristic reaction for me to have, but fist deep in martial protection magic my orange kitty basically tripped the DEFEND/EXPELL button. So far the wards have worked fabulously and I feel very good knowing the armory is stocked and ready at the waiting should non feline energies try to breach the walls.
My house needs a number of services: roof replaced, refrigerator repaired, tree removed, etc. I had to appeal to St. Expedite to get things moving. I guess that Fiery Wall is very powerful, if it could block connections just by being in my house. Imagine what it would do if wilfully deployed?
First off, the smell of these powders (and this whole series) are amazing. Just a sprinkle does beautifully for warding and protecting property. I've used it mainly for the outer area of my apartment as well as my car. Its strong but without the intense malefic impact of Mother Algol materia. I bought small sizes of this and the salt, but I think I will end up with large sizes of both!
I’ve used it to cleanse spaces. The results were impressively clear and fast - for example peoples bad attitudes changing to good within hours.
After using in a space clearing in my house, the energy was surprisingly light. Don’t know exactly what I was expecting but I was left actually giggling. Eager to use in other circumstances to see if the results vary!

We were dealing with issues, literally nearing breaking point, my usual methods were not working I needed something stronger, and I did not feel I had that in my wheelhouse. I was ready to call in the big guns, yet held off; I didn't want to admit defeat in my own home, nor awaken the auntie/uncle network.
So when I saw this series, I bought the incense, a candle, and the oil, I used them all, the incense to smudge my home and each family member.
The change was almost immediate.

Like some other reviewers here, I also felt quite dizzy in my first encounter with this powder - clearly we are not in Kansas anymore. This is seriously powerful, active protection. I’ve used it for Archangel Michael offerings for now. This is not ”wait and see” materia, it is highly proactive in its approach.
Over the holidays I found myself in a challenging situation with the relatives of my spouse. I can not judge how they behave towards others, I can only speak on how disrespectful, abrasive, entitled, disparaging, superior, cold and racist they have been towards me for now going on 3 decades. Remaining silent has been helpful as there is no going back and forth in conflicts. On Christmas Eve his daughter became hostile and aggressive over a benign suggestion I had made and the force of her hateful gaze left me stunned and shaking. She has Algol on the MC touching some personal planets. The gaze was followed by caustic sarcasm as she sat next to her father, my spouse. She and her family were nice, respectful and inviting for once, as if nothing had occurred the day before. I have since begun doing more petitions and offerings on behalf of friends and loved ones in dire need of protection and my faith is unwavering. Fiery Wall of Protection Incense & Powder has become a staple in my travel kit. I sprinkle it in my suitcase, backpack, etc.
This materia is actively protective and far more gentle than the Algol series. Upon opening the bottle, I felt immediately light-headed. For me, this is usually indicative of a surge of energy or expulsion— as with any materia that is intended to purge, cleanse or unhex. I’ve noticed that having some of the FW materia in my possession has made me a bit anti-social as stated in the write-up. As far as it goes with active protection, I was out on vacation, and there were multiple instances that objects could have actually hit me as I was in the general trajectory, but have missed me by a hair. Solicitors who had harassed my friends and others around me looked at me and turned the other way. This has all happened without me actively engaging with the materia or applying it so I’m excited to see what the results are like with active and consistent use!
Extremely useful for warding houses and places for ultimate protection of any kind!
The first time I smelled this powder/incense, I went completely still. I felt the dizziness that I feel around really high energy, or after a thorough cleansing. I fell so still, and silent. And that effect lasted for a couple hours, just from a sniff.
I used this to smoke my door along with a prayer of protection from my neighbor. My neighbor upped their antics after, but the next day we decided to call the police and it’s been quiet since. I feel like this helped us to even get to the point of calling the police (along with Deneb Algedi) and increased our ability to take action to protect ourselves.
I'm working with the salt in ritual, keeping the small pwoder in my purse as a carry-on materia. Not saying I'm supersticoius but I feel like this needs to be on my or in my car at all times.
This packs a punch and I can't wait to work with it more. It is a really, really good psychic ward.
