Saturnian King Subset

I've been using this as my day-side DA lip balm, particularly for throughout my work day. I'm not sure I notice the more energising effects, but it definitely calls to be used more than my standard DA lip balm and brings the same sense of safety and uprightness.

For me, SK has been the most wearable offering from the Deneb Algedi lineup, by far. I often wear this oil for weeks in a row and it’s become a staple for wearing to my new job. It gives me the protection I need, but also that zest for life that I often seek from Solar influences as well as drive to get things done. It has been the perfect remedy for Saturn’s ingress to Aries. I find that it grants me favor from my superiors as well. I wish I had come around to this subset sooner! Don’t sleep on this one!

As the title says, I originally got the Saturnian king incense and oil for wealth but life unfolded in a way that made me use it for protection. LiC alerted me to spiritual attacks by a family member so I used Saturnian King for protection. And did Denb Algedi and Jupiter deliver! I ended up ordering more DA materi. DA is a protective just star that will have your back if you’re innocent. It definitely had my back. Now I smoke my whole house with it for protection. Thank you S+S for this materia!

Whenever I use this oil, new money opportunities come my way. Added with a little sunny outlook in life! Awesome!

**This is less of a review for the "standard" uses of SK than it is a shoutout to its versatility when the Universe dictates that most other materia is off-limits for awhile** I usually haven't had bad results with using most of my "staple" materia around eclipse season or the bardo period (for me, that's EL, GSII, JiS and BO), but when I got very clear messages to avoid anything except DA for the most recent lunar eclipse in Virgo, I was nervous to be without my beloved Jup-Jup products for a *very rough* few weeks.

Well, the weeks have definitely been rough, but thanks to another sovereign I thought to try funneling some of my big "pls halp now Jupiter!" petitions with this subset, and Holy Cow has it been effective in providing the support, good luck and good vibes that are otherwise totally absent from the current astro-weather (when I've used the materia for this purpose, I still say the "standard" DA Orphic Hymn to the Fixed Stars, but follow it up with the Orphic hymn to Jove and ask for what I need).

Just this morning, this application was followed by an immediate lifting of anxiety, a sense of hope and "I've got this," and since then, I've had one the busiest (and most objectively stressful) days at work transform into smooth sailing and optimistic connections with co-workers (the number 444 even came up multiple times in my morning reading which was a really nice "your message has been received, Jupiter is on the line ready to take your call" validation of it's own).

I've also used SK in its more traditional capacity when I've needed to hold my own / be respected in tough conversations with authority figures, promote wealth generation or get legal forms approved and it's been a lovely boon there as well, but since the subset isn't exactly advertised as "substitute Jupiter" I had to shout this unexpected capacity out for anyone else who may find themselves Jupiter-less in the gnarliness ahead. Praise Deneb Algedi and Praise Jove!

I often anoint my car with this oil and I'm happy with the results. Protects, insulates and I think it protects you from the speed tickets 🙂

This series does feel warmer and more manifest-y than the base series. I’ve been working with it to help me manage my money in ways that are growth oriented and that seems to be working well.

I have both the main series DA oil and this one and use it as a part of my daughter's nighttime routine, allowing her to choose which one she feels drawn to. It feels like a warm, paternal hug and, since her Dad isn't around (abusive father), it nurtures those places for her where a good father should be.

I use this kolonia on Saturdays and during Saturn transits. It provides a strong, powerful foundation.

I used this to help me place and then reinforce boundaries with actions that “built into the energy” of protection, and it worked to beef up my sense of protection! I definitely felt a barrier go up between me and some very bad energy. It took me on a journey and taught me how there are old rock formations for labyrinths used supposedly to bind sea spirits from ships by Vikings back in the day. So, we worked with that at a local park with the car like it was a boat, the winding path we walked each day a labyrinth… Steady, strategic, and quiet compared to others. Like every oil I’ve used so far, it has its own vibe and idea about things. Its own strengths and weaknesses. Very much like The King of Swords coming over to “man the walls” and watch from the windows. It was a quiet layer when put with others. Turned people around me into tailgaters on the road, as if I was doing old man driving, and old men seemed to appear out of nowhere, everywhere I went, but things went detailed and right. And man, I have never seen so many cars rush to stop at a crosswalk to patiently wait for me to cross without me even pressing the button. Really liked routine, and it was very offended by the violations by others to the boundaries that we worked up. Helped a lot, but eventually when efforts to mitigate the toxic situation that had fallen to the pounding repetition a Mercury RX can make, this oil got agitated (sort of felt like an angry ghost) at the “stunning failure” and asked to be applied to a petition in land magic to “put in the final word” about the energy we have been working against. This one didn’t want a talisman, but the relationship with the oil lingers like good advice or council from a wise relationship “in the air” around what we put in place. Sadly missed, like a good friend, but when an oil asks to leave for a purpose, it gets persistent (quicksilver did too), and sort of becomes like a caged djinn… so, you honor the process and strategy, especially with this one, because each instruction was a step to be done, no nonsense.
