Luna in Cancer Attuning Tincture

Perfect for New Moon intentions and Full Moon rituals. I've made this a staple when doing any lunar work at all, actually. I take a drop or two, wait a bit, then move into ritual. This puts me in the emotion space to have very intense, meaningful lunar experiences.

I took a couple drops of this tincture and called a friend. I found myself talking more freely and sharing more of what my heart really feels than I usually do. This is a close and dear friend, so it felt safe to do that. I use this around the new and full moons (depending on the moon's sign!) to attune more deeply to the Lunar sphere. I am a Cancer rising and this election is conjunct my ascendant, and that has made this series feel extra lovely and supportive. I am well equipped to handle the big feelings that come with use, though.

Similar to my use with the oil, this attuning tincture accelerates sensitivity. This can be really profound and beautiful but also can make me a lil moody or hyper sensitive. As per the instructions and other reviews, layering is a really helpful. I still go pretty slow with this materia.

This sat in my arsenal for a while as I pondered whether it was too intense (based on write up) to use. But as soon as I started using it (externally) with other oils of Jupiter and Venus it became clear that this helps soothe the edges of the energies for me and clears a sustained concentrated core feeling that carries the other materia through in a good way. Cancer is my 2nd house so potentiation is very helpful with this!

I was sceptical to use alcohol carrier for Moon influence, but it comes very handy for thing where oil is not appropriate and water is too quick to evaporate. For ingestion still prefer steep and Smoke from this series.

Somebody in the community used a comparison for introduction to LiC as "nicotine vape hit". That was my first my experience with introduction to this materia as well. My ears were popping and ringing kind of like that every time I applied LiC in the first 3 days. Immediate physical effect that almost gives you sensation of opening the veil.

This tincture is a staple! As a Capricorn moon, this tincture helps to break emotional blockages and allow me to feel. It’s lovely.

I was thrilled when I first got my LiC materia and it didn't trigger my bipolar disorder. Unfortunately, I did a massively careless thing that showed me that I am not immune to the less happy side of Moon-Moon.

I was getting ready to do some divination so I figured Fomalhaut boosted with LiC was a good idea. I downed my cuppa, got to work, and started feeling the good cheer I normally feel from being productive evaporate. And then it occured to me that there was a really terrible lunation going on in my 12H. Suffice to say, the ensuing catastrophic depressive episode was enough to make me treat LiC materia with extreme caution. This stuff works, tread mindfully.

Kait wasn’t kidding - this stuff really does put that extra bit of oomph into any magic you add it to, making real world results manifest all the more quickly. But maybe ease off on internal use if you aren’t the most lunarly healthy person unless you want to get an inner crisis going. A productive, generative, transformative crisis but it’s not always optimal timing for that in life. Still, one of the mainstays of my magical arsenal since I got it.

When Kaitlin puts a warning on her products, pay attention - Luna in Cancer really does magnify and increases potency of Luna things and/or other materia from S+. I have used it by itself, but it's better directed and mellowed being paired with something else. My favorite pairings are with Fomalhaut for dream work and with Butter Ocean for deep, healing sleep. Highly recommended - but use with intention. Sloppy or carefree use can result in frayed nerves and weepy emotions. That said, it will be in my magic toolbox as long as I can.
