I use this oil when I need to tackle hard tasks and think strategically. It is great when mixed with Luna in Taurus as well! The results might not show right away, but it is great for building long-lasting results
It also led me to research my origins and discover the meaning behind my last name, the history of my lineage, and its connection to the Moon in my birth chart. Because Saturn is in aspect to the ruler of my Moon, which is in the 4th house, it all ties back to my roots.
This oil also helped me hear what people say beyond their words. In other words, people would tell me one thing, but I was able to identify the patterns behind what they were really saying. Sometimes, that irritated me because people would talk at length, and of course, in the end, they would give their opinion—since that’s what is written in the description of these oils, that the opinion comes at the end.
Although it’s Mercury in Capricorn, it feels more like a Mercury that likes to provoke. That’s what I noticed. The opinions it brings out—I’m often not aligned with them. I believe it’s meant to push me toward self-reflection and to organize my finances much better, because that’s the goal of this series: to create wealth over several generations.
So, when I started using these oils, every time I spoke with someone or someone was around me, they would end up giving their opinion without me asking for it. And in the end, it would often be a blunt or even insolent opinion, basically saying: “You’re not making enough money. You should be making more.”
That’s what I took from these oils. They also pushed me to move beyond the temptation to limit myself to the value people tried to assign to me based on my financial situation. It led me to introspection—asking myself: when people give their opinions without being asked, are they really talking about me, or about themselves? Why do I feel this pressure? Should I give in to the pressure of financial wealth, or continue walking my path steadily, trusting that I will build my legacy over time? As long as I don’t give up, continue making efforts, and take strategic actions.
This oil truly led me to reflect on how I shouldn’t let my direction be altered by what people say about my financial situation. It was as if the only thing people focused on when speaking to me was financial success and growth. Yet for me, life is worth much more than that.
I needed to make sure my mind didn’t submit to the fact that almost every response I received when using this oil—and speaking with someone—seemed to target or question my financial situation.
I also noticed that it attracts clients—meaning people will come and ask what I’m selling, ask about the prices.
But I also noticed that it can create noise in the environment—construction sounds, people being active, like masonry work or houses being built.
At the same time, it attracts clients as well—people who come and show interest in what I offer through my professional activity.
I really enjoy The Capricorn in the 3rd deacon oil. Capricorn is in my 10th house so I find this oil very helpful for work and work related tasks. I’m more productive and organized at work. Because I mostly work alone and in the arts, I have to make the most of my studio time, this oil has really helped me with that. It also smells amazing! It’s deep and woodsy. Highly recommend!!!
This oil is great for getting done what needs to be done in a steady and relentlessly focussed way. It's a much better match for me than Mercury materia as it keeps me on track much better. Plus, it smells great!

This oil is overall powerful, potent, and protective. It is an excellent grounding tool and pain reliever, and helps calm my frenetic mind and nervous system. It has helped draw in money and has helped me think more long term about what I truly want to be investing in. It’s great for resource allocation and generation, financial planning, investing, etc. I’m really impressed with how supportive this one feels by way of bringing me back to earth when I’m feeling anxious or flighty. Highly recommend.

Capricorn III Anointing Oil has quietly but decisively shifted the ground under my feet. Since working with this series, I’ve found myself stepping into positions of leadership in spaces where guidance had been missing or muddled, and able to hold that role with a clarity and steadiness that simply wasn’t accessible before. It feels like it’s given me a solid foothold on internal reserves of foresight and decisive action that had been lying dormant in hidden corners inside, waiting for the right key.
Over time, this oil has become a cornerstone in a broader regime of astrological allies that support my material life. I notice less wasted motion, more grounded follow-through, and a reliable sense that the essentials are being handled.
I tend to oscillate between Cap III and Cap II: I reach for Cap III when I need insulation from group dynamics so I can plan and execute on creative projects or work-a-day tasks that require unfettered attention, and I turn to Cap II when teamwork and collaboration are required. Used this way, Capricorn III Anointing Oil has become an invaluable ally for stepping up, taking responsibility, and building tangible results without getting pulled off-course.
I have a stellium in the third decan of Capricorn, but in the 8th house. I think that a lot of the gifts I have been given by this stellium are things that have frequently been discouraged, or that I have a lot of shame around. This series has been wonderful for helping me step into my power. Typically, I will feel the effect of a series upon application, but I think because of my heavy Capricorn chart I don't notice an immediate "vibe." Where I start to notice it is in how others respond to me - I'm suddenly more confident in what I have to say, and I seem to have greater influence over others when I apply this oil. This has been a wonderful way to integrate my strengths and talents into the way I show up in life, but sometimes I wear it and realize I didn't want to be in charge that day, lol. I think "heavy is the crown" is a pretty apt phrase for how this can sit sometimes. Regardless, I think applying with mindfulness about context is important (for this and any materia), but also I think it has been wonderfully beneficial to sit in the heaviness of command and get comfortable with that feeling, given my own chart.
This main series is absolutely true to its description. "Responsibility" is the word that comes to my mind. When I use this oil following the Cap3 kolonia, I definitely feel seated in power. A little bit of this oil goes a long way for me as someone who already takes myself a bit too seriously at times, and I think I'd benefit from layering it with a 'lighter' materia.
I love this oil's propensity to get me to delegate or "arrange" rather than take on everything myself-- I do not worry about overworking or becoming overloaded (a caution I have with Cap2).
I have always been satisfied with Sphere and Sundry materia, and The Sovereign Throne anointing oil is no different. I have both the Sun and Mercury Natally placed and I find this oil helps with confidence, clear authoritative communication and to my surprise catching subtleties that I would have otherwise missed. In addition to a general intuitive enhancement of the intent of others I am communicating with, I have caught underhanded comments and sarcasm veiled as sincerity that my rigid and combust Mercury doesn't usually allow me to perceive. Cap III has been a huge help in getting me back to my important work. I apply this in the morning before mediation, and it reminds me WHY I have to do what I do, and then gives me the boost of power to get to work. After close to a year of stagnation and questioning whether I'm ready for the next stage in my evolution, I actually feel excited to put in the work it takes 🙂
This is one of the few series I started using as soon as I received it, and am still using almost daily after 2+ months! I often layer it with other series, depending on the planetary influence of the day, and have found it works well. So grateful for this series!
This oil, and the entire series in general, makes you see things you overlook and overlook, especially if you focus on business or project issues. It has become my favorite series by far. Everything is analyzed and examined with a cool head, inviting you to venture into possibilities.
My goodness this Oil has been a godsend. Perhaps my favorite offering so far. I was a bit hesitant as I am Aquarius rising with Saturn as chart ruler. For focus and discipline for any project - this is the oil that works best for me. To sit down and knock out 4-6 hours of focused work - this is your friend! I will definitely try it with Mercury in Virgo oil as well. So pleased with this - will have this order on repeat. Thank you so much for this!
My ADHD brain doesn't derail me as easily from my grander schemes under the influence of this oil. It may help that my natal Venus and Jupiter are in this decan (which can tempt me toward sweet and shiny excesses!) This oil resonates subtly and powerfully, keeping me better aligned to my goals, while also not feeling Saturnian bereftness either.
This is low esteem remediation in a bottle. Take back your power slowly, deliberatly and without anxiety.
OMG_ I love The Sovereign’s Throne Anointing Oil. I have a 6th house Cap Mars at 29º that has just been beat up by Pluto for years now. Using the oil helped restore forward action finally. Using this with the candle of the throne series has been amazing.
100/10 would recommend for anyone who is seeking to reclaim their power, come home to themselves, have firmness in your boundaries (cave less with manipulative people).
I really have enjoyed the way this series makes me feel like I'm on a journey back to my power--also re: my knowledge of self and spiritual matters. I am doing things that bring me joy again. I'm learning to say no. I'm learning to wait patiently for what is meant for me. I'm learning so much!
I use this oil for everything! I wear it. I anoint candles with it. I love the energy. It’s like sitting in power…my own, familiar power. Awesome!
I was going to take some time to engage more with this series before reviewing it, but I have noticed some effects from it already. The most interesting thing that I've noted so far is that shortly after coming into possession of this series my father initiated a discussion with me about paying off my car loan. This ended up leading into a deeper discussion regarding generational wealth and family dynamics that was actually very enlightening. The offer for the money was great but I was far happier to have the insight on family patterns and legacies (good and bad).
Despite such an obvious sync, I would say for me this has been a very subtle series. It has a very slow and grounding feel to it. It's mentally stimulating but not in a caffeinated, hyper way. It's very contemplative and introspective without being too ruminating. My natal Mercury is in this decan and I think that this helps me feel "at home" in this series. It gives me a sense of feeling more like myself and being able to take control of things in my life.
If you’re in the middle of troubleshooting something related to work, you will quickly find the answer with confidence and no stress. Perfect for working with a tight deadline. Gives you a feeling of very focused confidence in what you’re doing. Especially when working with high-tech hardware.
This oil makes me feel rooted to the earth like no other - I actually find it as grounding as Exalted Luna, which came as a surprise! It took some time to get used to the idea that this particular Mercury does not necessarily equate to immediate ideas / brainpower, but rather a slow accumulation of registering What Already Is and How It May Be Utilized More Effectively.
Capricorn is my 12th house so my experiences of how this has unfolded has been a bit harder to notice and not always "in my face" as much as other series, but in hindsight it's brought an absolute powerhouse of grounded clarity in a time of perpetual confusion and chaos. Also love that I find the smell so reminiscent of (what I imagine) Ent-draught to smell like. Love this series!
This is equally as present and powerful as the firewall series, but this is WHAT you protect. It really does love to put you in the scene. I had to sit and “instant service” watch my hot water heater break, be diagnosed, and get replaced in a three hour period with help literally dropping in on a dime to get it done. That’s just one example. This oil literally lives to example itself. All I had to do was make sure I said what I needed and ensure I stayed out of the way. It gives you the ability to hold thoughts on your fingers like individual keys to distant strings that lead to other plans in action. You are acting purely in thought as the plan enacts itself around you through the infinite options indirect actions create through relational agreements and interconnections. Ravens. Thrones. And, higher forms of creating the NICE version of the thing. Experience is allowed to be protected behind closed doors that keep things going by being. This works that whole dynamic like nothing else. Smells divine. This one is like the dark chocolate bar of your dreams for doing Saturn. Savory and delightfully enjoyable, one bite at a thoughtful time.
