Golden Sol II Kolonía
Created using Golden Sol II hydrosol as a seed, with organic cane sugar alcohol, hyssop, white grapefruit, angelica, frankincense, and colloidal gold.
Use as a quick and effective auric cleanse, sanctify (and sanitize!) the hands before works mundane and magical, clear objects, and add to essential oil diffusers, humidifiers, floor washes, and spiritual baths.

Bright, energizing, and uplifting. This is one of my favorite kolonias.
There's a very specific feeling I get whenever I use this or when I add to floor washes. It's the feeling of the warmth and relief of stepping out into the sun after enduring the biting cold. It truly gives sunrise energy which I love so much.
I'm surprised at how gentle this kolonia is. Almost unnoticeable at first, then slowly I catch myself feeling...good. Leo-good. Like you just feel good being in the world. I sealed it with some Leo anointing oil, and even with the oil it was still gentle, not overpowering or fiery in any way, not "Too much". Just warm and comfortable. Suddenly it's completly ok to be visible in public. I will work with this specifically and intentionally, can't wait!
Smells fantastic and works really well for myself - I usually have trouble with solar items and avoid them but this isn't too much for me!
Or anytime I'm worried about being seen (ok, that's like 90% of the time, Virgo rising problems). Kolona cleans, light my candle and I'm ready for a new week of parenting "being"
I've got sun problems so haven't engaged with any sun materia until this kolonia. The first time I used it, I felt a little sad but the kind of sad where you've been holding something inside and someone finally sees how much you've been hearing and it allows yourself to feel the grief of it all. Uses after have felt more like the promise of spring, like something new is possible and imbued with a sense of hope.
The energy of this kolonia is really gentle and supportive. I've found that the way it works for me to engage in consistent devotion with it is to use as a sort of 'welcoming the day/sun' splash at the window boundary of my house. Since I've started doing this, I do feel I have been able to notice the sun coming out throughout the day more.
This takes me back to the olde days, when colognes were used by aristocrats to mask the scent of sewage on the streets...
Nothing overpowering, nothing complicated, just a nice scrubbed-clean feeling for the aura and a lightening of your energy. I reach for this for mundane use as well as after a ritual bath. I would like to try out a larger operation with it in the future, but will need to upgrade my bottle size for that.
So I don't do well with Solar materia in general. Even Regulus is not generally my vibe (tho I have had some luck pairing it with Cap3 but that's a different review). I wanted to buy a lot from this series to try and work on that relationship but intuition said no. I was only given the green light on this kolonia, and nothing else.
I'm glad that I listened to my gut, because this kolonia is perfect. I think that if I continue to work with it over time, my relationship to the solar realm will shift, but for now its just a lovely way to cleanse away the horrors of these times when I need an energetic reset. It brightens my spirit and refreshes my energy like a sweet spring morning. I imagine a lot of solar kolonia series could be harsh and intense but this one is pure, sweet, and lovely. Even for me!
GS I and II may be my favorites of all S+S’s offerings. They’ve made me feel so reassured, optimistic, uplifted, and softly confident; like the time of year when it becomes more noticeable that the days are growing longer and the land is awakening. It’s the perfect remedy for my fallen Libra Sun and compliment to my Leo rising.
I've been using this regularly during the winter, as my depression flares up during the dark/cold months, and it's helped lighten my spirits significantly.
My favorite kolonia for beaming brightly and unapologetically.
I’ve recently had some folks enter my orbit who just don’t seem to appreciate my naturally silly nature, but I rely on silliness to get through some days. Silliness as the antidote to a Saturn in fall is just how it has to be, and this kolonia really amps up my capability to feel joy in the face of those that would prefer me to be a sourpuss. Feels protective, but not stern. A literal smiley face emoji in a bottle : ) just… unbothered.
Brings a sparkly cleansing energy to my aura. It is extremely strong, and actually makes me very sleepy. I use with caution knowing I will get tired, like after a good energy healing or cleansing.
This kolonia is beautiful medicine for countering feelings of depression, melancholy, anxiety, fear, Saturn woes, lethargy, fatigue, and insecurity. I also find it supremely helpful for exercise and promotion of self care. Thank you S&S (:
Golden Sol II Kolonía
Pleasant, bright, citrucy scent. First part of the solar remediation ritual, highly recommended for anyone. I recommend using this kolonia in order to purify and clarify one's aura before working with the rest of GSII life changing materia.
