There was a great Sun in Aries election on the day of the 2021 Aries ingress…
We had originally planned to create a full new series, but since we already had so much Exalted Sol on hand, last minute I pivoted to just making Kolonías + etching talismans for personal use instead (never get to do that anymore!).
Elizabeth Barrial of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and Twilight Alchemy Lab chose to still work the election, so the fruits of those labors are riding alongside our Regulus III release as a Yuletide gift from BPAL to us all!

This subseries of condition oils were crafted and blessed under the auspices of Exalted Sol in order to amplify and direct their power. They are fiery and vibrant interpretations of the concepts that they embody, vigorous, bold, and dynamic.
EXALTED SOL: CONFIDENCE
This is an oil that gilds one’s outlook with all the assurance and conviction of a yellow star in its prime, banishing shadows of doubt. This oil assists in affirming faith in oneself and one’s place in the cosmos.

Extremely wearable, pure high quality essential oils. Lifts, illuminates and brightens. I just love using it especially on Sun-days
Somehow, this smells exactly like a fragrance a beloved (and protective) caretaker from my childhood used to wear..despite zero overlap with the ingredient lists.
Working with this BPAL has consistently offered me warm bolstering and confident reassurance around feeling protected.
I chose the Fearlessness Exalted Sol tailismanic perfume and it has been so lovely. The smell is so gently uplifting and gives a beautiful sense of inner safety and strength. I've used it with sunrise a few times applying a dab to my crown and heart and it has made greeting the morning so much more meaningful. As well my connections with men in my life have been enfused with a coziness and protective feeling that was more absent before. This is all really exciting to notice as I was admittedly a little skeptical and had been in a fear stuck place I didn't think would be lifted so easily. Thank you for this lovely gift of warmth
I acquired this golden treasure as both of the luminaries in my natal chart are afflicted by square to Saturn and 12th of bad spirit is Aries domain. This combination often results in not only low energy levels, but continuous mental health challenges AND energetic parasites/dark shadows trying to attach themselves. This liquid sunshine does wonders to lift up my spirits and energise me as well as disperse any unwelcome presence. Would definitely recommend, especially to anoint forehead and top of the head to create a luminous crown of protection to anyone with similar struggles.
It took me a few applications to warm up to the smell of Fearlessness, but I came to see how the richness of it befits its effects. It is one of my go-tos for situations where I know I might be prone to social anxiety; it removes some of the constant second-guessing that goes into that, and allows the true self to shine through.
This perfume has been hard for me to use as an 8th house sun, there's something intimidating about it for me. That said, when I have worn it out I felt like I could take up more space.
Recently I’ve begun a difficult, and, at times, frightening medical process for which the duration and outcome is uncertain. Fearlessness has lightened the emotional burden considerably since I’ve begun regular application, and I’m so grateful for such powerful spiritual support.
This is a lovely sweet bubble gum scented BPAL that does indeed boost my confidence because it makes me feel like I'm in a Pink Barbie Dream House. So delicious.
I have a Exalted Sun myself, but in a hard aspect with Saturn (plus I'm a very anxious person), so this BPAL and serie is really uplifting for me. I don't have it for so long, so I'll see what are the full effects after a longer time, but I can already tell that I get along just fine with it, and it was a very much needed product to have. It helps embrace the Sun and its visibility much more, without being too self-conscious, without fearing being more radiant.
I have an Exalted Sun too, and I'm really glad I could have some items from this serie since all of them are mostly sold out by now. The Protection BPAL is the one of the two I got that I used the most since the few months I purchased them. It has helped me a lot, especially when I was not at home (and it doesn't happen often), to feel protected from the feeling of "too much people all of a sudden". It helps me feel more grounded, less fatigued. It also helps when I feel drained, when I have headaches (I feared it could triggered them, but it helps). I wonder if it has also helped with the heat when I faced it for the first time after really long months of autumn-like weather, and with the meh-moodiness that comes from greyish seasons. I also really like the smell !

The art created for this series was exacted at the correct hour and day following several days of fasting, prayers and solar devotions. The ankh, symbol of Going Forth and of immortal life, was added to the ram's head after seeing a glowing version of it in dream. As the sun is eternal, so shall be the soul of those exalted beneath its beneficence. Thus, the piece is called 'The Ascension of Amoun-Ra' and is designed to be used as an altar image and focus of meditation.
The Ascension of Amoun-Ra: Raising the Pylons of the Sun is a votive ritual observance by which the solar sheaths of the physical, astral and etheric bodies are fortified and cleansed. For the ancient Egyptians no greater sun god existed than ram-headed Amoun-Ra. He was the literal and living embodiment of the sun. As such he established beside him for centuries a retinue of solar avatars who expressed specific attributes and powers needful for the full expansion of his cult. Good Health has been literally joy in a bottle. For a long time my best moods have been “not incredibly distressed”. When I put Good Health I feel happy without need for a reason. It reduces my baseline levels of dissociation, which makes me more engaged with sensory input.
Food tastes so much more delicious across the board. I was surprised that basic dishes like toast felt so magical. I didn’t realize I was this disconnected from my reality until I felt the difference with Good Health.
I love the confidence, glory and fame, and fearlnessness BPALs. I wear them before big events and they really help not only calm my nerves but do help me channel a sense of grounding, uplifting, and high self-esteem. This Fearlessness Exalted Sol BPAL is the real deal!
I’ve been battling imposter syndrome-induced-anxiety at work and this oil has been incredibly handy. I have a silk lined bag filled to the brim with silver dollars that once belonged to my Grandmother and parents. When I open the little purse, a whiff of perfume, silk and coins wafts upwards.

Preface – I am so not a review person. I really really like to be very lowkey online, but the BPAL incandescent wealth worked so quickly and effectively and INSTANTANEOUSLY that I had no choice but to leave a review.
I’ve had it only a week and applied it only yesterday and today but in these two days 1) An order for a work desktop had been stalled for 2 months or so due to a really busy time at work (no one at fault here, just truly a hectic time) and I applied some yesterday + put in my diffuser and lo – got an email that my order had been put in! 2) Me + my sister back in May bought two paintings from an estate sale that seemed promising in terms of resale value but unfortunately all our requests for appraisal were stalled. Applied some today and just as I had finished setting up my diffuser, picked up my phone to discover that someone had finally gotten back to my sister and it might be worth much – an appointment set for Tuesday!!!

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I have been able to lean in to the Fearlessness BPAL time and time again to transmute my nerves in to excitement. My first application was when I tried skiing for the first time, and I went from feeling incredibly intimidated and avoidant to incredibly exhilarated and just commiting to the slopes in a way that really surprised myself and my friends. Aside from smelling absolutely beautiful, the perfume absolutely works and has helped me physically embody positive self talk and encouragement in a somatic way that I had difficulty integrating before. To show up, take up space, and just give something my all with less reservation. Much gratitude for this BPAL!
I had a situation at work where I had to speak with a superior who was known for being incredibly difficult to deal with, very unfriendly and just generally made people feel like she was out to get them. I used the Glory and Fame BPAL oil and although I started the conversation sweaty and nervous by the end of our conversation you’d swear this person was my best friend! We were laughing together and she was asking my advice on different topics. My co workers to this day can’t believe it. Sphere and Sundry materia always delivers! My alter is now over flowing with S+S oils, body butters, waters, etc. Oh well, have to make a bigger alter. 🙂
I have been using the Protection oil allot recently. It’s nice, uplifting and warm and centring. I find myself feeling confident and protected. I love this oil ! I find it great with layering with other oils as well. Recommend
This is a gorgeous collection of oils. They all smell absolutely beautiful (especially Protection), and honestly I could recommend them for scent alone. They’re also potent in terms of utility. In general I operate with a constant low hum of anxiety, but Fearlessness seems to have wiped it clear, and I feel an outwardly pulling sensation near the sacral chakra, like I need to get busy and put myself out there (which is a push that I need!).
For EXALTED SOL: SPLENDENT JOY
I tried this out on a gloomy Sunday (the spring equinox), where news (personal and world) was bad. My mood has been depressed and anxious and I wanted to start the new season and celebrate the Sun in Aries by feeling good!
In spite of everything going on I felt uplifted and hopeful for the first time in a long, long time. I also felt energized and took action on some outstanding things. Good stuff!
I have a fear of public speaking, especially in front of strangers. I layered Confidence and Fearlessness throughout the 3 weeks I was at an artist’s residency, and reapplied before my presentations, and it helped me so much. I felt steadier and confident, and did amazing during my presentations. Oh, and Confidence smells SO good. I got plenty of compliments!
For Fearlessness: Feeling dread and anxiety about work (because of a fear of failure) has been a running theme in my life for a few years now. Often I’d think back to my younger self, wondering where I got my pluck and how I could so easily throw my hat into the ring with so much on the line. Fearlessness reminded me—”It doesn’t matter.” When I wear this, it’s like the past and future melt away, and my focus is on the moment. I don’t feel some blaze of glory or whatever, just a calm focus on what’s in front of me. Suddenly, that empty page isn’t so scary anymore—and it feels like it never has been.
Incandescent Wealth may be one of the best things I’ve ever smelled. It’s elevating and enriching. I’ve put it on my partner, who sometimes works as a server, before shifts where she believes that customers may be unwilling to tip. Without her knowing the *magica* behind the materia, she’s come home elated that her customers were feeling extra generous in an otherwise post-holiday scrooge like state.
I’d recommend it for the scent alone but the proof is in the pudding.
Fearlessness is great! I think I was surprised initially to find that it has a very particular & special old-school “occult” oil scent, It’s kind of like a spicier, hotter dragon’s blood with some underlying sweetness as well- at times I feel like it’s pretty alluring. Despite there already being a Confidence oil in this Exalted Sol set, I absolutely believe that inspiring confidence is a huge part of how this one works. I feel way more daring, playful, relaxed enough to let my true emotions & energies flow. Fearlessness does also help with anxiety, worries and unending negative thoughts. It’s actually quite amazing & powerful.
I have both Incandescent Wealth and Glory & Fame and I love layering them! Just today I layered them and felt rich AF! It feels like super elevated, super unbothered and also super confident! Definitely helps me when I’m selling and a business owner and helps me feel into what a wealthy – not just money! – lifestyle feels like for me!

My “holy,wow!” is for the Incandescent Wealth perfume. It smells divine, and it’s a huge kick in the pants. Never have I had something more capable of getting me off my ass to go chase that coin. This one is getting filed with my BPAL favorites.
Holy, wow! I picked this series because it had Jupiter in Aquarius (where my natal Jupiter is located). And I’m not entirely sure if that’s the reason for the quick impact and results…but man I’m I happy I purchased these. the SPLENDENT JOY especially has created some amazing light hearted moments in the midst of another dark, pandemic winter. I will be returning for more. My only warning is don’t put too much on at night…the solar energy kept me up.
Aside from the Saturn series which has been both profoundly impactful and my favorite scent profiles, these BPALs have been some of the most potent straight out of the gate powerhouse magical perfumes I’ve seen out of S+S collabs. They speak deeply of the intensity and magnanimity of Sol and the possibilities held within the Temple of our Skies. Glorious. This an initial report. Given how first few rituals have gone already, I’m expecting wondrous things.
