I'm taking my time to review The Thema Mundi. However, I want to write a review for the kolonia because it's very cleansing. it smells heavenly too. It has the power to clear energies and make you a blank slate of sorts if you need to start something new.
This feels like the most obviously powerful TM materia for me so far. Maybe it's to do with the cleansing factor, but after using this I can see the results tangibly/materially manifest more clearly than the sensations I get from some other forms. Other than that, it's just so awe-inspiring to use - I love the heft of the bottle and the smell. Feels very cleansing immediately and helps move towards timelines that are closer aligned with my desires.
I waited nearly two years to write this, because that's how long it took for one large application (as a whole home floor wash) to finish clearing away things like: our entire family income. A month after the floor wash we were in the position of living off savings only. We are in a better state now than we were than we started but it was a harrowing process. I think it might have been better to buy both a clearing and a building form of materia instead of just the kolonia. However, with hindsight I do believe some of the hardships were already going to happen and the kolonia may have helped us course-correct better than we would otherwise have managed.
I love all the kolonias, so I made sure to grab this one but I was very slow to getting to know it. I ended up adding several drops to a spray bottle with vodka and filtered water as a sort of priming cleansing spray before applying other materia, from TM or another series. Since trying this, my Thema Mundi engagement has been WAY stronger and WAY more powerful. Permanent results with single applications. I highly recommend pairing this with an oil from another series if you are trying to have a *MAJOR* breakthrough in regard to a specific area of life or goal!!! If there was a 5oz size of this I would absolutely have it.
This might be my favorite that I’ve tried so far. Deep, otherworldly, primordial.
Quite a lot comes out of the bottle - you need to be careful when applying! It smells divine and the scent lasts. Use sparingly and with intent. Very powerful kolonia.
I've made it part of my cleasnsing practice to use the TM kolonia after ritual baths. This type of materia has never really sparked much inside of me until now... I began using the TM kolonia as soon I received it (2nd round of ordering) and have been using it diligently since... the change and timeline jumps, financial leaps, and career growth has exploded. I'm sure it's due to a number of factors but using this particular TM materia is 10/10 one of them.
The smell of this kolonia is absolutely divine. The reset i feel upon application is so dramatic and profound it takes some time to recalibrate and accept it.
Upon introducing myself to this kolonía and using it for the first time, I began to recite words, a poem, that came from somewhere else about the nature of creation and the world. I couldn’t remember most of what I uttered, but someone else using TM repeated a phrase I had said using exactly the same words. Magic.
This kolonia's smell is intense out of the bottle but once it hits skin/air it dries down in a lovely way. You do have to be careful pouring it out as the opening is much larger than the other kolonias (for future bottlings it might be nice to have some kind of stopper, if possible!) but I like clearing my energetic field with this before engaging with the TM tincture.
there is nothing like the smell of these sweet primordial waters. it smells like Great Mystery and Love. it feels like it, too. it immediately evokes guttural humming sounds from me (and my mother had the same experience!). I used it to cleanse my spheres on the eve of my birthday and I have not been the same since. it is Loud and yet so Embodied. Unspeakable and yet nonstop Singing. I wondered why I’ve only ever used Asclepius kolonia and am so glad I trusted my instinct and brought the Ultimate Cleanser and Aligner into my Dream.
This kolonia smells as strong as the punch it packs. A very powerful, rather masculine, *cologne* smell. The opening on the violet glass container is more generous than other S+S offerings. This makes it a bit difficult to conserve, although allows for an amount of kolonia per application that is perhaps more consistant with historical uses of colonge. That said, where ever it is used, expect that place to maintain a strong kolonia scent for awhile. It is powerful and lingering.
As for the magical effects that are directly and obviously from engagment with this kolonia: the removal of obstacles to manifestation of ones goals is clearly its best use. As well as clarification of those goals in ways that help further manifestation.
Specifically, the kolonia caused me to realize the subconsious limitations I had been putting on my Big Magical Efforts. I now have a more concrete vision of a way forward in my magical practice that is far more empowering and practical than I had previously.
Given those effects, use of the kolonia in sacred or magically-charged spaces also grants that same clarity of purpose to that space. Excellent for altar cleaning and sprinkling in dedicated prayer rooms. Some spirits may find it to be a bit too much. It grants a control and cleanliness to a space with a level of authority akin to dragons blood, but with less outright agression and hostility. That said, its power is overwhelming and might be a bit much for a home floor.
