⠀Quick Kolonía Clearing Protocol

Sprinkle about a half teaspoon onto the palm of the hand and gently rub both together for 5-10 seconds, coating tops and bottoms. The hands can float 2 inches from the body or lightly skim it.⠀

Stand and run your palms from the crown of your head down the back of it, then start from the top again, going down the sides, the front of the face and down body, all the way to the tops of your feet. Sweep multiple times. ⠀

If you feel any areas “sticking”, continue stroking until energies disperse, and then proceed with additional downward sweeping.⠀

Continue skimming downward, running your cologned hands across every surface area, including under the arms, groin, between the legs, and rear, concluding with the bottoms of the feet by lifting them. You can “flick” the energy off if it feels right, or it will dissipate naturally, however you prefer.⠀

This is really like a refreshment and spiritual + auric + energetic reboot. It’s the only full-size Kolonía I actually used to the last drop because I used it so often. It feels wonderful, it’s never manic or rushed, it’s so REFRESHINGGGG. A real deep cleanse of whatever spiritual and energetic gunk is keeping you from forging ahead in whatever endeavor you’re on.
If I hadn’t gotten the altar box set for this series, there are so many forms I’d never have thought would be so indispensable to me! I’d already had copious experience with the Deneb Algedi Kolonía and I loved it so much, but something about that felt like it was so specific to DA and not about the form and its potential in general. Now I feel like the Kolonía for any series is really a must buy. It feels so nice to shake out that high-alcohol content disinfectant and purify whatever sphere or influence is being targeted.
When this comes back in stock, I really need to prioritize grabbing this. This + the tincture will have you taking on every task presented to you pretty much effortlessly.
This kolonia is a sure bet for when you want to *guarantee* victory in any situation. For when you want to conquer competitors, enemies, or just be the absolute, very BEST. Highly recommend pairing with Regulus or Exalted Sol especially!
I use this kolonía on Tuesdays, as part of my work with Mars.
Powerful refresher. When tired and you want your aura an energegic reboot, this is the one. I follow this kolonia burst usually immediately with other materia, because otherwise it can produce a brief, mild headache.
Cleanses me to my core- differently than Asclepius where my energy becomes a blank slate, this feels like I’m cutting away everything not me so that me soul can be sensed more clearly, strongly.
Useful for auric clearing in preparation for use of other Antares materia - I use this before the oil and it helps me engage with it on a deeper level. Can also be used for a quick energy reset before being active or a long day ahead, I find it a really positive and energetic force.
Wow. I used this kolonia after using jupiter in sag during jupiter hour. It took my Jup high and definitely brought it down a bit too low for my liking. I sprayed a little more of the jupiter in sag water and was right back on my Jup high.
I noticed throughout the day I did everything I needed to do without thinking twice. I had a task that I knew would take hours, that had multiple steps, that I just motored through. I had originally planned to do one part one day, and finish the rest the next.
When I kept feeling tired or like I should take a break, I noticed that there was this drive in me that kept powering me forward to get it done. I kept saying what if I just kept going and I’ll take a break at the next part? The next part would come and I said the same thing. Before I knew it, the task was finished in record timing.
I also found I was courageous and gave a last minute reading that I typically wouldn’t, that went really well. I’m shocked that the kolonia alone packed such a powerful punch. Paired with Jupiter in sag made everything very fun and enjoyable.
I love this product! I've been using it for months with great success as a pre-workout cleanse for my hands before applying the oil or just on its own. I really enjoy the scent profile especially--it smells like your grandpa's best cologne layered with saffron. I notice that it has an almost instant clearing of focus for me....when I get this out and use it my energy focuses and I am able to step into my workout with single minded focus...a real gift if you do martial arts. I highly recommend!
Not sure how to engage with Antares? I find that the energetically cleansing and light format of kolonias are some of the best ways to go about it. I found again, using Antares kolonia was enough "oomph" to give that Antarian flavor without it feeling overwhelming. Pairs well with DA materia as well. I also found that it facilitates martial reflection by again clearing a space for that to happen. I would say it is still somewhat vigorous and would engage with it during the day.
I’m so glad that this is part of the Antares series. I have a very powerful natal Mars and I’m careful about how I engage with any energy that’s Mars-y. This kolonía is so purifying, I always use it before working with any of the other Antares materia, and it helps channel that energy so effectively. It’s really indispensable for working with Antares and Martial energies, super grateful for this!
My natal Mars is exalted in Cap but unhelpfully crammed in the 12th house; it's a part of me that I like but which feels demonised and unsupported by the outside world in various ways. The kolonia feels like a welcome clearing of the pipes to approach, draw on and express this energy, and I love the saffron scent and colour.
i have mars in detriment in my natal so i bought this kolonia in hopes of giving him a little extra boost. i've been mindful to only apply during the days and hours of benefic planets and the results have been wonderful. clearing up long unsettled arguments, having more motivation to do work that i've been putting off, feeling general increases in vital energy. highly recommend all around!
While I don't have kolonía from every series, I've found that I am drawn to them for different reasons. For the Antares series, I wanted to see what kind of rebooting it might offer for my spirit before I invested in the Antares oil (I have some tricky placements nearby in my natal chart). It's the first kolonía that has felt like it energized and grounded simultaneously, so I often turn to it on Monday mornings when it is challenging to get my game face on for work.
The smell reminds me of the incense used during vespers, so I don't think I could ever grow tired of the scent! I think this has been the gentlest way to ease into the Antares materia as it reframes my mindset without the potential weight of using the oils or incense directly on myself. If you are a bit hesitant to jump right in full force (per Kaitlin's wonderful write-up), the kolonía might be a good start for you too.
I’ve used the Antares kolonia alongside the water and oil over the past few weeks.
It hits heavier than the hydrosol but invigorates and motivates to move the blood in the body. I’ve used it before arduous fieldwork and workouts with great ease.
I use it very early in the morning and wakes me up faster than my coffee takes to make and lets me complete my martial tasks with a sense of immediacy, purpose, and motivation.
I am a long time devotee of S+S materia. Antares series was both calling to me and at the same time I was hesitant, not being sure how it might land for me, so I followed some advice to start with the Kolonia. I have followed Kait's Kolonia Clearing protocol with this materia and it has become a go-to for me on days when I feel disconnected from myself, and when I need an extra boost of courage to navigate through something that I may have previously avoided out of fear. Highly recommend for use as clearing, especially for those who have not yet ventured into the Antares series!
I don't feel like kolonia are an essential baseline for every series I use, but I notice a huge difference for the better when I clear with Antares kolonia before applying any of the oils. I struggle with fatigue and I always feel a light but noticeable boost when I sweep this through my aura before exercise or an activity that requires physical energy.
My Fomalhaut experience is akin to sinking deep down into dreamy primordial darkness...a little briny but safe and protected.
In contrast, this series feels more active and energizing. A few splashes of this is like suiting up to go on an exploratory space mission to an entirely new chapter of my life. There's a sense of mystery, curiosity but also excitement. The overwhelm of the unknown reduced by a sense of trust in the process. It's a fabulous energy... It evokes the wonder of engaging with Mobius artwork and Afrofuturism (astrofuturism??)
I wasn't sure what to expect from this series and have just dipped my toes in; so far it's a win.
I'm a Mars-Cancer native (and it's in the 12th to boot), so I'm always looking for ways to get my energy going. I've been using this for about a week and have found my energy much more focused than usual, which has been a great help. I love the smell too!
If you’re curious about working with Antares this may be a good start because a little goes a long way like with the water. I have just a small bottle of this and I use it often but like all the s+s Kolonías—it is lasting and lasting! I especially love to combine this kolonia and exalted venus water. If you have both and find this a little too strong that can help temper it
This series is amazing! I'm using the Kolonia and it's been great to get projects up and going, especially if I'm sluggish or tired. It sort of feels like working in the shop with my grandpa growing up. He wasn't warm and fuzzy, but we'd put it a long day of hard work (mostly in silence), and get a lot done. It was satisfying. To be clear, I don't think this series has a grandpa vibe, but I have Antares on my IC and my grandpa was that Martial type. I do hit the wall hard at the end of the day, so keep meaning to follow it up with something restorative (Eirene or Cloud King maybe?). No social issues so far? But I try to apply and get moving, so maybe there just hasn't been the chance yet, lol.
What an incredible offering. My natal mars is fallen in cancer in the 12th house and i struggle with martial materia. When i apply the antares kolonia i experience a grounded rush of kung-fu energy, clean and sharp and poised. Where mars materia sometimes feels uncomfortably stimulating, i experience antares as a calm, concentrated, focused powerful charge that makes me want to do yoga poses and learn martial arts. Amazing to apply before working out or just as a boost of quiet clear energy. The bright yellow color is also delightful and really feels like im using an ancient kung fu potion. thank you kaitlin & co. for another amazing product!
My deep gratitude and blessing to S+S for bringing this power to life! When I saw the election, I could not resist but to order materia if a few forms. Initially, did not plan to use it on my body and was planning to use it for meditation and learning purposes. However, after I open and smell Kolonia, I ended up applying it thoroughly on my all body. From the first intro, every time I apply it, I feel like small sparkles flashing around my body when I pass with my wet hands. The best-smelling and feeling Kolonia from S+S so far for me (I am Scorpio rising with Jupiter on Asc and Mars in Sag conjunct Antares). Literally, cannot get enough of it. The smell is divine and ancient, lingers on my hands for a few hours at least. I have been anointing pulse points with Heart of the Scorpion oil afterward (smells ancient and powerful too). The energy I get is focused, strategic, internally motivated, measured, purified, and ROYAL! Observing rather than reactive. It literally feels like I am too royal to react, or maybe rather - to react, it should be truly important. Physically, it makes me thirsty and increases my craving for salt. No social issues, maybe drawing a little more attention/respect than usual just by being present. A pleasant side effect I have been enjoying - is telling jokes with an absolute poker face - a dream came true for any Scorpio/Sag!
