Empress Powder
Classic herbal and lapidary correspondences for Venus and Luna were combined with ingredients renowned in Hoodoo and Conjure for their ability to sweeten, seduce, and open the way, fumigated and prayed over before being ground in the day and hour of Venus following almost a years worth of incubation.
Pink and white water lily, raspberry leaf, damiana, orris root, watercress, red clover, rosehips, passionflower, pennyroyal, yarrow, vanilla bean, aloeswood, benzoin, pink lotus stamens, eve root, deer’s tongue, jezebel root, lucky hand root, abre camino, and malachite with Royal Sandalwood.
Includes copious amounts of genuine 23kt red gold — an alloy of copper (Venus’ metal) and gold (the Sun’s metal) to emphasize Sol’s exaltation and rulership of the First, from the House Joy.
Add a Venusian boost to mojos or dressed candles on behalf of yourself or clients. Sprinkle in your shoes, wallet, purse, or lingerie drawer. I keep a vial of this in my bag or purse with me everywhere I go and I never have unpleasant interactions with strangers. I did whole body paint for this last Halloween and added a smidge of powder to the overall mixture and I have never been hit on by that many hot girls in one night before or since (speaking as a hot they, myself). I almost always get an empty seat next to me on public transit when I have the powder in my shoes: She says “give me space” though often allows moms with children or elderly women to cross the boundary (or welcome flirtation)
I hesitated to write this because I know its not in stock and there won't be another suitable election for venus in taurus...but OMG! I received a small amount of this powder in a trade on the secondary market and it is my power medicine. I have a very unhappy venus in my natal chart and this is the series that helps most.
In the same way that a pinch of Luna in Cancer powder potentiates and supercharges other series, I've found that a smidgen of Empress powder can add irresistible charm to a working. It basically makes (or encourages) people fall in line assisting and smoothing the way for whatever your magic is working towards!
Decadent, regal, luscious, relaxing, well-pleased, sought after (but ensures that only those that match your frequency approach you, while intimidating or safeguarding you from low-frequency connections). The best to bask in pleasure and a sense of overfill.

As a naturally somewhat conflict-avoidant person—a person trained to be polite above all with strangers—I can use some energetic help sometimes when I need to sternly defend my queendom. Empress powder is my go-to. The embodied regal feeling is real. I have no problem setting and enforcing boundaries with this powder and I’ve tested this under duress with worthy opponents.
This is the first S+S powder that I ever purchased at launch, for its own sake, rather than snatching one up because it was one of the last pieces of materia for a series still available. I'd taken to burning others as 'incense' -- over charcoal if need be -- in lieu of actual incense. That's not something I intend to use this powder for, though! Because I've come to find that this powder has a *fantastic* ability to leave a lingering, potent sweetness to my altar whenever I sprinkle it around the edges of offering bowls, etc. This sweetness is not only olfactory, though it definitely keeps on smelling fantastic for LONG afterwards, as I continue to catch whiffs of that delicious fragrance for many days, weeks, and even months later; it also lends a sweet ambiance to the space, feeling soft and decadent and so, so lovely. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Empress is my absolute favorite.

Powder inside my left shoe/sock? I had doubts initially, but it WORKS! I sprinkled this, along with Deneb Algedi powder, inside my left sock and left shoe the day I went on vacation with a dear friend (let's call her D). We got bumped up on an earlier bus, we had a great rapport with the check-in lady at the hostel, and the best surprise of all: we met common friends (E & B) and had a very good time! D and I totally did not expect E & B to be on the same place at the same time! I really felt that Old-White-Man-Privilege meets Everybody's-Friend energy from these two powders, I absolutely LOVE IT!!!
I love all of the Empress materia. It's one of the ones I use the absolute most. I use the powder to dust myself. It helps me feel more driven, confident- so much I have the tendency to fix my posture and walk with my head up when I use it. I don't even think about it, it just happens and its something I've observed. It also is great in getting me to take action and make things happen as well as for me to engage in self care which is something I scarcely do.
In a word: delicious.
I use this powder in all Venus workings and also run it through my hair or over my skin when I want to give myself a little Venusian *oomph.*
My initial intention with it was to attract money and simply have a nicer time at work. It had an immediate impact on business, not just in the sense that we had more customers waking in, but also that the vibe between people became palpably... pleasurable. I work in a restaurant, and notice that when I use this powder there is a greater appreciation for the sensual and personal side of hospitality, both in myself as well as reflected back to me by coworkers and clients. I don't think it's a coincidence that within a few weeks of using this I began what is so far an extremely sensuous and satisfying love affair with a coworker. The thing is, normally I find myself get sort of carried away with excitement over a new lover, which can cause me to crash and burn or get hurt later on, but this one has a great integrity and maturity to it, while still being sexy as hell (it also began the day that Venus and Mars conjoined in Cap, so the timing really does check out). Overall, I can't recommend this powder highly enough. It's potent stuff.
I used this powder back in December for one of my first serious attempts at candle magic, with Son of Apollo & Aldebaran powder and wow! It worked incredibly well! This helped me finally put my body/health in first place. It’s been about a month and a half and the changes are Noticeable. Pounds have been lost, skin has been beautified. I put this in the Empress reviews because, since Venus rules my Asc, i feel she did the heavy lifting.
Oil/water application is lovely for daily support, but if you need an extra OOOMPH, a candle and some powder does great.
Really adore this powder! As a Libra rising who is trying to really cultivate a devoted practice to Our Fair Venus, the Empress powder is the tool I use to dress my Venus candles. I also love to put some in my hair and my shoes! I’ve noticed how the interactions I have with folks when I’ve dusted some of this in my hair have just been so sweet! Lovely compliments, free drinks and beautiful conversation! And it’s so versatile! I definitely plan on putting some in a bath and maybe even a tiny bit in my face powder!
Y'all! Don't sleep on the last few vials of Empress Powder! Just used some for my self-love honeypot spell, to invite in all good things, and more sweetness into my life. The *whoosh* of magic as I sprinkled in some Empress powder was palpable. Grants permission to us stern, masculinized/ Saturn-identified warrior women to enjoy all the sensual pleasures an Empress claims sovereign right to. Great for healing the wounded feminine (I prefer the lie-in-bed-and-eat-bonbons style of healing, over the deep grieving of Immortal Heart.) Also smells like a delicious pastry. Just get it!
This is my favorite Venus offering, as a candle dressing typically. Dust my hair and shoes when I need some extra oomph. I love to work with this powder during Her day and hour, and at any time I need to be extra charming to bring forth Venusian boons.

I've been using the Empress powder as part of my morning ritual with a candle and tarot. It creates a day where I can nourish and honor my my needs while honoring others.
My favorite way to use is is when I'm doing projects around the house because I know I'll do them correctly and I won't rush.
When dealing with other people- kids and coworkers mainly at this time- I'm more emotionally attuned, so when I'm demanding it actually is heard in the way I need it to be- which is so wild.
This is such pleasant magic in my life and i am so grateful for Kaitlin and the entire S+S team.
What the Empress wants, the Empress gets. And luckily for me, she very graciously decided to help get me a job opportunity! After witnessing her powers of attraction first hand, I put this stuff in e v e r y t h i n g. Mixed into the melted wax pool of a fancy rose-scented candle, that I now light whenever I want to sweeten situations and surroundings. Used for dressing plain candles for Venus offerings. I have found the Empress series to be great for my Moon (and my Venus, but definitely my Moon, who are both in an earth sign, in the same house). The aspect of self-care shows up hard for me in all of the Empress items I have used. It is about the acceptance of I want/I need, and being OK with that. I looked at my annual time lord a few days ago and realized it was the Moon. As someone that has sometimes set my own needs aside, this series has bolstered acknowledging my own needs.
For me, the powders have always been super versatile. I love using them in my shoes, and it gives me light from the bottom up. This gives me the ability to not rush, but rather saunter at my own pace, and that is OK.
I have not used this in my Venus mojo bag yet. But intend to.
