Son of Apollo Incense + Powder
$30.00 – $90.00
Consecrated Son of Apollo herbal blend, ritually fumigated during Sphere + Sundry’s 2023 Asclepius election with the support of Jupiter in Aries, powdered with carnelian, 24k gold, and frankincense.
Formulated to work beautifully as an Incense for offerings, smoke bathing the body, and interior spaces to banish low vibrations (+ the Dead) — particularly after someone has been unwell, and/ or as a magical Powder for dressing candles, sprinkling, and adding as an ingredient in spell work.
A brighter, warmer form of Asclepius, perfect for constitutions and scenarios which would benefit from bio-spiritually available, easily assimilable forms of supplemental light and healthy yang.
One could also select Son of Apollo by day and classic Asclepius by night…
Arrives in a 1/2 oz glass vial with cork top and 24k gold for $30, or 2 oz bulk pot for $90.

I used both Asclepius and Son of Apollo incense interchangeably smoke bathing myself almost during a ritual leading up to a follow up important medical appointment where I’d been trying to get an issue taken seriously and had been fighting to get into the ‘right hands’. The incense does clear the space, but I also found it very helpful, and did in the days after find myself in the ‘right hands’, rather amusingly given I’m not from Greece and don’t encounter many Greek doctors… the doctor/surgeon/‘right hands’ is a Greek doctor (who trained in America in the speciality I ended up needing). No matter whether you would consider that a lucky coincidence, beautiful synchronicity or helping hand. Regardless of which, I found the incense very helpful and it aided in providing me in what I needed and was working towards.
as mentioned in my other reviews for v. 4 this iteration seems more insulating/comforting to me than the others - in a good (the best) way. I mistakenly burned some SOA incense at night instead of the regular ASC and oof couldn't sleep! Definitely for daytime use only. I use the incense ritually for clearing out stuck energies in the home (read: teenagers bringing home nasties), dressing candles and the like. Don't know what I would do without the hunky healer in my sphere, and so grateful I don't have to find out.
I have used this incense as a powder in my workings for healing, protection & money magic and the effects are profound. I hadn't tried the SoA subseries of ASC before, but it's my new favorite way to connect with my hunky divine healer. Used as an incense, burnt as an offering of thanks for his assistance is a great way I've found to connect with him as well. I can't believe this is still available! Think I'm going to pick up another large jar while there's still some left.
I haven't had this for long but used it as an Asclepius offering before a medical gauntlet (big dr's appt the day of an eclipse!) and between this and Ascl 1.1 water, felt supported both physically and energetically through a stressful time.
This incense is my favorite for regular use. I love it because it is uplifting and has so many uses from improving the vibe of a space, cleansing it, and assisting with health issues/healing or doing workings for others. I'm nearly out and can't wait for the next Asclepius series to roll out. This was a lifesaver during some really dark times - it helped me keep my hopes up and clear unwanted energies from my sphere. This is my go-to when doing ritual baths as well.
This incense is so different from the Asclepius one. Definitely not for use before sleep. Smells very different too. Has an early morning energy to it which charges and gives comfort at the same time. Once thing that I get in common with the Asclepius incense is the sense of gratitude and peace. I use it more for lifting depressive moods rather than for healing the body from physical aches which I prefer classical Asclepius series for.
I used Son of Apollo through a very difficult health period and it supported me in all kinds of ways. I had a nightly moxa ritual for quite a while and would burn the incense and use the oil in conjunction with the moxa treatment which lead to outstanding recovery and rejuvenation. I love to use this incense in the ritual bathing protocol for smoke bathing and overall cleansing as well. All Asclepius materia is great, but Son of Apollo in particular has such a clarifying and purifying edge to it that is so beneficial when it comes to restoring vitality and overall life-force.
I love this powder. I've used it in so many different ways. Mixing with oil and anointing a candle, myself, or items I wanted to use for energy scraping. Sprinkling it under my pillow. Putting it in a locket. I want to use it for a spray and floor wash too.
It has a really comforting, warm feeling to it. Like letting the light in. I went with my gut on which one to choose, going back and forth on SOA vs. Asclepius III. It can be hard to choose! I went with SOA for several reasons. I need to clear bad energy originating from someone with a Cancer stellium and I thought the solar energy made sense for that. I also thought about the line about helping with excess yin energy. My own chart is quite watery.
This also felt like a good fit for 4H Sun family issues and processing grief I hold from losing my dad when I was a kid. It's really been the right fit for all of these things and has proven to just be such a versatile materia for all these different healing and purifying uses.
I was sending heartfelt gratitude to the Son of Apollo and S&S Material. My son with a disability gets agitated and restless around a full moon. I used this incense and Asclepius tincture during the last full moon in Aquarius; as a result, my son was calm, Focused, and joyful.
I love this incense. It is lovely and clean and reassuring. It has a steadying and spacious quality. I got a brass incense / resin burner that can hold the incense over a candle flame. I use it this way often instead of burning the incense because the incense is warmed up rather than burned and the smell is so sweet and delicate. I am grateful for my little bottle.
