Water of Asclepius I
Waters, Sprays + Hydrosols, Sold Out, Asclepius IAs further detailed in the series description, cypress, sage, and incense cedar were blessed using the words of Thessalos, given to him in dream by Asclepius, and harvested on the Summer Solstice in the hour of Jupiter. These, along with rose of jericho, were combined in a copper still and immersed in water freshly collected from the headwaters of the Sacramento River in Mt. Shasta. A hydrosol was produced, which was later combined with essential oils of frankincense and rosemary, carnelian, and grain alcohol during the Ras Alhague election, where the water was dedicated to Asclepius and received his blessing.
One of the beautiful qualities of this formulation is that upon vigorous shaking, it turns white — a color associated with healing and purity in many magical traditions.

Sprinkle on yourself, your doorstep or hearth, your floor before sweeping or vacuuming, or add to cleaning solutions to help purify energies and bring healing and renewal into your sphere. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was surprised by the coolness of this scent – very herbaceous and almost minty-fresh upon application. And yet, it works to conjure a sense of comfort, familiarity, and has an emotionally stabilizing effect on me. It is a more subtle scent in many ways, and doesn’t last as long as some other BPALs (Hekate Chthonia, I’m looking at you and your 24-hours-later-and-still-going-strong power!) so I do find myself applying it more frequently when I’m in need of the gentle yet life-affirming comfort of Hestia’s hearth.
Not overpowering which is good, my partner doesn’t love strong scents on me. Been truly useful working through some tangles that have built up over the last years. I’m also a Pisces rising and this election has my moon in 5th as it is natally, along with my Libra stellium in 7th here definitely feel the emphasis on relationship/romance work here trying to undo and just get back to the simple joy of it. I use it in bath and on altar a lot, and on my heart chakra.
I wear this oil when sitting in meditation, as well as when sitting with astrology clients.
