Gorgeous, icy iris pallida and hyacinth stem over minty and earthy resinous base. Smells expensive - and it is!

Beware! So cheerful and solar it will stain clothes yellow. Wear it in pockets. Magnetizes attention to you, especially when performing. Somewhat unwieldy texture because of the mugwort.

More "hot" than other items in the series, which can be quite cooling depending on form.

Promotes tireless work. Be sure to check in with your body and its needs, as this tincture wants you to get shit done.

Not bad as a pre-meal bitter to promote better digestion. Still, feel like it wants to promote workhorse energy compared against other series items that seem to have more of that Hygeia energy,

To say this is a strong jasmine aroma is an understatement, and the salve preserves the delightful indolic qualities of the flower.

I find this so potent and stilling that I rarely reach for it (as with most Saturn materia). Good before bed.

Have put to the test for freezer spells and self-binding of harmful habits. Haven't heard from the recipients so seems like it worked.

Don't use if you cannot keep to your commitments - Saturn materia may provide karmic backlash.

Strongly receptive - can hold negative energy or emotions.

Placed in a jar beside the bed and successfully warded off nightmares after a bad stretch of them.

Strong camphoraceous scent that I find very pleasing but others may find intense or overpowering.

I have only used this incense a handful of times, and nearly always when Luna was conjoining Antares during her monthly pass through Sagittarius.

I burned and offered to the sky, passed my workout clothes through it, and said the Orphic Hymn to Antares. Then spent the entire walk to the gym using the name of the star as a mantra.

Promotes explosiveness. May overheat confidence. Does not fuck around, but is a gentler spirit than its reputation might suggest. This Virgo rising's experiences with Antares have been incredibly reassuring and healing.

The spirit informed me I did not need to ask its help in becoming a champion; I already am one, and my draw to this energy is not because I lack its qualities, but because we are kindred in spirit.

I'd wear this kolonia as a perfume - and I'm not all that into traditional *masculine* scents.

This little bottle goes a LONG way - I am less inclined to overapply or douse myself with it like I am other kolonias - applied to the torso and neck, it resets the aura and infuses it with a steady, cheerful, and calm yang energy.

Less potently energizing than some of the other forms in the series. Makes you smell like a handsome spy.

A few drops placed under the tongue instantly slows the nervous system and provides a cooling effect to the constitution. Good if you're feeling wired, angry, or impulsive.

Need to experiment with more dedicated ritual work, mainly use the EL series casually on Mondays or on days when I'm feeling in need of restoration.

I mainly wear this before workouts or when attempting to commune with Antares when the moon is conjunct the star.

Cumin-forward, but pleasant. Provides direction and focus.

A rich red incense. I find most of the S+S incenses designed with intent for potency rather than odour, and this one is a bit spicy - may tickle your throat. But puts you in touch with Martial energies, and is appreciated by such spirits when burned at an altar.

Just the right strength and size for making herbal teas and decoctions, and the fact they are unbleached makes me feel better about using disposable teabags.

She's not into magic, but agreed to give this product a shot as she navigates life after welcoming her first child.

Says the baths are soothing and relaxing.

Good for what it is designed for! Can be used in the shower as well as the bath, as well as for straining decoctions.

When I wear this, things seem to run just a little more smoothly. Surprise seat upgrades at airports, traffic lights seem to be cooperative, the energy of life courses in the flow.

*Intense* swampy smell - this is one of the few of Kaitlin's materia that I don't enjoy the scent of. But that smell makes it feel more potent for its aims...

The soap is a bit more friendly and cheerful than the base materia, more childlike, in line with the other MiG series. Wish I had more ideas on how to apply Mercurial glamours.

I wear this before tense interpersonal encounters, when I need to be emotionally steady enough to both listen and to stand my ground - not always easy for this Mars-in-Pisces native.

Apply before grounding meditations to connect with Terra. Intense jasmine scent, but strong earthy energy.

Invigorating lemongrass scent and light, whipped texture. I like to apply body butters and salves right out of the shower, apply on chakra points, and let the oil melt before rubbing in.

This provides a +1 boost to focus, especially when dealing with minor and administrative tasks. May create tunnel-vision. Don't forget to look after your body and leave your head once in a while.

Lovely rose-almond scent with a hint of marshmallow. Seems somehow thicker than the others. Great to apply after a bath, especially on the neck and soles of the feet. Don't wear before physical activity - promotes relaxation a bit too effectively.

Have been a loyal S+S customer for two years, but can't rave highly enough about this product. Austin chose a winning formula. I apply this before and after every workout, and have managed to return to, and then surpass, personal records in weightlifting I hit in 2019, when I was still in my twenties! Increases blood flow, decreases pain.

I do love the other offerings (esp BPAL) from this series and so I bought the incense. Whilst I do like how nice it is for family gatherings or for Aphrodite devotions, I have found that the incense is much more musky than I would have anticipated for Venus in an air sign. I tend to go more for the Exalted Venus Incense for this reason. This does mean I need to air out whilst using (unlike many of the other incenses), and will often need to combine with VAD kolonia to brighten the room again.

I have used this a few times and really enjoyed the scent. Yet, I still find that I am yet to access the profound sense of clearing that other Kolonia's have given, esp because I had high hopes for it. I still need to crack at figuring out how to use this ritually but, if anything at all, the smell of it in combination with sovereign's coin makes it a lovely companion. I hope with further engagement I can deepen my appreciation for this particular offering in the series.

Sovereign coin has been quite the learning curve in understanding and getting to know better what sustains me. As another person noted, I find there is much to learn in how I sometimes go a while almost avoiding it? But that also being coupled with me being stuck in a certain scarcity mindset (not necessarily with money but more with my energy levels and time too).

Found too that in working with St Expedite, this is a VERY well received offering (both anointing the oil on petitions and offering incense).

Side note, but this oil smells so very very yummy, it takes all my restraint to not want to taste it.

This whole postpartum series has been beautiful to engage with. I would start my morning with Son of Apollo soap, take a few drops of this in my tea made from the steep of this same series and (for good measure) I would sometimes even add my exalted luna honey.

Despite this being my third time round, I found that I was even more supported both internally and externally by others. Highly recommend use for any Mama's out there wanted a little more magical support through those beautiful yet fleeting first few months. I loved that this series helped me to navigate the fourth trimester with a strong sense of being grounded, supported but also enjoyment.. Also, I felt that engagement with the EL series as a whole really helped prompt the most familial support I had gotten (compared to my previous births). That has been really beautiful- esp that there were several moments where I could actually feel safe enough to ask for what I needed, which doesnt necessarily come easy to me.

I have truly taken to this materia and, curiously enough, find I reach to it very readily on the days when I engage with Regulus (as well as Tuesdays). I find the scent utterly divine and is easily up there as one of my favourites. Gifted some to a friend who reported back he hadnt slacklined with so much vigour in months and he really felt the warrior spirit of this series seep through! 10/10 all round !

This entire series, the anointing oil included, has been the one I go to when venerating my matrilineal line but also in my daily Marian prayers. Whether they be Mother of Old or the Divine Mother Mary herself, this oil (in combination with the incense and tincture) make for beautiful and well received offerings, as well as refining my communication with these spirits when applied on my persons. Also, unexpected side effect? Joyful dancing to the sounds of my ancestral lands. I got utterly uplifted when listening to a mix of vinyls unearthed from the 70s. It felt utterly magic to be 8 months pregnant, twirling in circles and to feel as though as my grandmothers and aunts were right there with me laughing and cheering me on from behind the veil!

All I can say is that this one really does the thing on setting the mood and making intimacy all the sweeter. I have found that during the day, it makes me a little ditsy and forgetful, so I cannot use it much during the days I need to get things done. But at night? WOOO. The absolute bestest (esp in combination with the Venus-Fomalhaut Lip Balm)
