As others have said, the body butter feels "lighter" and suitable for relaxation while the salve feels more therapeutic. I've been specifically using it to help cultivate secure attachment, in addition to helping with rest/body pain, and it feels like a slow and gentle healer.

This salve is delicious. Absolutely intoxicating from the first scent. Applying it is instantly stress melting relaxation. I can't recommend this salve enough.

There's not a vast amount to say about this salve's magical properties that wouldn't also apply to the rest of the series, but its aroma might be a standout. I'm enamored with the scents of this, the anointing oil & the body butter! As for what makes them different from each other, or what makes this salve what it is, I think the body butter has a "lighter" feel to its energy overall, whereas the anointing oil & the salve go deep. I personally have been enjoying using the anointing oil at all hours, but it's for sure more hypnotic to me than the body butter. The salve is kind of like that as well, and even though I'd also use this at any time, there's a definite grounding, healing, dreamy vibe that seems to just want to lull you into the most intense rejuvenative process. Typically, that's not going to take place while in an active, stimulated state, thus the soporific/ sedative qualities of much of this series. Which is why it's adored though! Passed out cold on couch huffing the tin first night. Not greasy, nice rub for neck and hairline. Effective relief for headache and appetite…exalted Luna likes bedtime snacks.
Excellent for dream time and digestion, nice addition to ground BPALs.

Silkiest, smoothest salve of them all! Soothing like Cloud Kingdom but more grounding and body conscious. Caring, sensitive, mother energy. I sense a long term, subtle, slow but deep and true healing.

I have always wanted to be able to relax. I used this salve before bed last night and the effects, 19 hours later, are still in effect. It's almost disconcerting how apathetic I feel...almost completely devoid of feeling? Maybe this works *too* well, or maybe I really need this. It smells fabulous- similar to Cloud King (like the bath salts). These salves are so decadent! I am curious to see how this works over time - and looking forward to the journey.

This salve is truly lovely. It's deeply luscious and soothing, truly one of the most restful salves I've worked with (and that is with Cloud King in the mix!!). I put this on my feet and felt so **complete** which as someone who has a chronic issue with resting is incredibly helpful to experience. I only ordered the small size and am already contemplating ordering a large one. It's just that good.
