A Prayer to St. Expedite Perfume Oil
One of three ritual perfume oils, specifically formulated by the illustrious Elizabeth Barrial. Best known as the proprietress of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, she also has 30 years of experience formulating oils and other magical wares in the hoodoo and conjure traditions, which she offers through the looking glass of Twilight Alchemy Lab.
These are for the St. Expedite collaboration, never to be made again. In describing her creation —
This is a general, all-purpose perfume oil for St. Expedite, appropriate for use in dressing candles, rosaries, conjure bags, petitions, and other items of power.
Patchouli essential oil, vanilla bourbon absolute, ginger root essential oil, steam-distilled myrrh essential oil, Ceylon cinnamon essential oil, ground cinnamon, and cinnamon sticks, coconut oil, alkanet, pyrite, and red mica.
The initial charge for this oil was made on December 20, 2018 during the St. Expedite election window, and was subsequently charged every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday through Epiphany, with boosts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Epiphany. Offerings of poundcake, candies, chocolate coins, spring water, incense, fire, coffee, whiskey, and rum were made in supplication during the process under the auspices of both St. Expedite and the Virgin Mary.

Magic in a bottle. A lovely fragrant prayer offering, with expedited results ~ warmth, sweetness, and abiding assistance for those requesting such from this sincere, compassionate Saint ~ Hodie! Hodie! Hodie!
With each & every new S+S BPAL I encounter, I decide it’s my favourite. But this one may actually be the current winner – due in no small part to its sheer unexpectedness!
The uniquely uplifting combination of citrusy notes, spices and warm vanilla supercharges one’s being, like golden sunlight permeating your soul after a week of rain. When I wear this St Expedite is extra-friendly and responsive, and I recommend regular use when you have an active petition to him, to remind you both of your shared goals. It’s brought a lovely warmth to my personal connection with this saint.
It smells delicious, yet thoroughly of this plane (not floral or ethereal). When I wear this scent I feel motivated, energized and in possession of a magical self-confidence; a sensual ease in my own skin. As a genderqueer individual, I don’t always access this feeling through Venus materia; the youthful yang energy this perfume channels is something I didn’t even know I needed. HIGHLY recommended.
Feeling grateful for the bounty of support given by St Expedite with my current On going situation in moving on in relationships.
I used this the other night wishing to get the night off without having to call out from work, about couple hours before my shift began. Said a quick prayer to the fast saint and annointed him and myself with this oil and voila! Got a call in 30 minutes that I didn’t have to come in for that shift. Coincidence? That was St. Expedite replying to my prayer and enhanced by A Prayer to St. Expedite Oil. Hodie!
I made the error of using this perfume casually one day, to enhance my mental energies while mixing it with Regulus and Lightning’s Archer perfume; this one overpowered everything else, and I was struck with visions of crow feathers cascading in the air, with an annoyed sense of “you rang??” from what I feel to be St. Expedite himself. Only use when seriously intending to work with and approach the quick Saint.
I’ve used Prayers of St. Expedite for 2 different reasons.
First instance wasn’t to petition St. Expedite, but to thank him. I had an issue come up before the order arrived, made my first petition to St. Expedite, and the matter was resolved in a super easy peasy manner that I almost fell over. I anointed a beeswax candle with Prayers, and offered both chocolate and cake to St. Expedite as a thank you. The oil smells deliciously of cinnamon.
St. Expedite came through for me, and it was great to have this oil to give thanks and appreciation for his help. Coincidentally, the oil was created on my birthday so it has super extra special meaning for me.
The 2nd instance was to petition St. Expedite during a house hunt. We’re in an ultra-competitive market and I offered prayers to St. Expedite so that our bid would be looked upon favorably. We ended up winning the bid. I used it also to thank St. Expedite as well in the same manner. As well as sing his praises. St. Expedite came through for me in big ways, and I am thankful for his assistance. HODIE.
