Out of all the honeys I have, this one smells different because of the addition of cinnamon. It feels special like a warm and festive dessert, and I was led to ingest it which provided me with a dose of energy and good cheer. Love!
An excellent offering to the spirits, but I also like to stir a little into coffee and take it to work with me when I know a negotiation will be challenging! There is a richness to this honey infusion utterly unlike anything I've ever tasted.
I felt called to use this honey as a deep conditioner for my hair and OMG that was the best decision. I have very thick, curly hair, but I normally straighten it. The first time I conditioned with this honey, the spirits wanted me to rock a true lion's mane, and my curls were poppin'! So silky and shiny... I soon started straightening it again, and my hair smelled divine. And of course it was still silky and shiny. It just felt right to me to use this Solar Leo energy for the natural crown on my head.
I've tasted it a couple of times--put it in some tea, and it is lovely :)
This has made a gorgeous offering for Apollo, and other solar work. It has a very 'bright' energetic feel, almost blinding, but not in a way that hurts. I did taste a small amount but agree with other reviews that this is more suited for offerings.
For some reason, this honey really read to me as **sacred**. As in, don’t consume this, this is for offering purposes only. I wonder if others have experienced this too (I know a lot of folks like to consume the honeys, and I definitely have consumed them in the past…). But with this one, I knew immediately that it was supposed to be an ancestor offering. All I’ll say is, it works exquisitely just as that. A truly ROYAL offering.
Using this along with TM honey as an offering, this one I'll use in tea or cookies when my ritual offering is complete. The honey, soap, and ink of Golden Sol II have turned out to be amazing materia for me. Less intense than the oil and water, but absolutey beautiful to work with.
I've only used this as an offering so far so I can't speak to the flavor but it was well received. It has a really sweet mellow vibe, very cozy feeling. I really like it!
