Quite bitter. I can say it’s somewhat energizing, as you would expect from Mercury materia, but not manic.

This makes me feel so light and giggly, it’s good when I’ve got too much Saturn stuff going on.

I did two puns and that's rare for me. I find that Mercury materia makes me giggle and laugh! Maybe because Mercury rules my fifth house. I appreciate it! I had a beautiful day with this tincture where I went to a fest in the park, bought some lovely items, saw bubbles, my partner even got to hold a parrot on his arm. I think I will continue to use before thrifting too.

This tincture shifts me just enough to remind me that life isn't meant to be so serious - and for this Mercury in Virgo to lighten up and let her giddy side out. Effervescent!

Just as you would expect with Gemini, this offering is light, bubbly, and witty. This tincture is definitely the more fun Mercury compared to the super methodical and particular Exalted Mercury. I feel like I'm my funniest, cleverest self - quick on the comebacks when I'm using this tincture. The perfect antidote to my normally introverted self when I need to be effortlessly social.

I haven't had a chance to experiment with this tincture on its own much, but I'm happy to report that so far it doesn't trigger manic episodes.

I mostly use this on Wednesdays, layered with Exalted Mercury and Quicksilver Tongue. Wednesdays have always been my git'er done day and this combo is awesome for being productive without the fallout that comes with solo QT or ExM use.

A funny thing I've noticed since I started using this tincture is that my hand-wringing over packages has basically disappeared. It occured to me when a recent supply order landed without me ever having checked the tracking. Normally, the first thing I do when I order something is waste time worrying about when it will ship, then I sign up for text notifications, and *then* I add the tracking number to my USPS tracking app. Kind of amazing to let that particular source of worry go so huzzah to Mercury in Gemini!

This has been invaluable during my current Gemini profection (especially in surviving that last Mercury retrograde while prepping for a move). I had more energy, got more done, and generally had an easier time remedying (and preventing) tech issues (there were a few near-miracles with internet outages and a "did I somehow just kill my laptop?" scare). Words came together with much greater ease, which has been great for writing... but it can also apparently lead to a nigh uncontrollable motor mouth, in spite of a desire to stfu. Alas, Mercury in Gemini insists on _m o r e _ w o r d s. So... be warned lol. I also would be cautious about using it within a few hours of bedtime, as it does indeed act a bit like caffeine (though I didn't notice an uptick in anxiety, personally).

Overall, this is the materia I've seen the most overt and quick acting effects from, and is far more powerful than the Waters from the same series. Great stuff!

The tincture has had the strongest effect of the Mercury in Gemini materia I’ve tried. It makes me feel energized and puts a spring in my step. It’s fun! However (and unlike Exalted Mercury) it does enhance my ADHD symptoms rather than moderating them. I find myself fidgeting and my thoughts pinging all over the place. Definitely a weekend offering for me: one drop in a glass of water. Oddly, I find the oil more muted (in a good way) and its effects more manageable.

YMMV on using materia during their planets' retrogrades but having used Exalted Mercury (+JuBo) and MiG tinctures during Mercury retro, they seem to ease typical Mercury retro snafus and help me stress less. Also perfect for writing days!
