Saturn in Capricorn Talismans
Resident Sphere + Sundry goldsmith Tony Mack offers to Saturn in Capricorn an unparalleled run of (DROP DEAD GORGEOUS) talismans in the form of pendants and coins, modeled after one of our earliest private collaborations — a set of Degree of Exaltation Saturn rings from its time in Libra 2011, which are worn during the preparation of all our Saturnian sacraments.
Modeled in hard carver’s wax, and Cast in Electrum; an 80/20 alloy of silver and gold [with calcined salts of ibex tibia, pine resin, cumin, and hemp]. Casting was accompanied by suffumigation of Myrrh.
Saturn in Capricorn Coins
A traditional image of Saturn, carved in relief. He stands upon the earth bearing a scythe, surrounded by our seven wandering stars. On the reverse, an ouroboros encircling an onyx cabochon.
Saturn in Capricorn Pendants
On the back, a traditional image of Saturn, carved in relief. He stands upon the earth bearing a scythe, surrounded by our seven wandering stars. On the front, the astral sigils of Saturn from the Arabic Picatrix “Ghāyat al-Hakīm” engraved at quadrants. The center of the pendant was deposited with materia under the rulership of Saturn: pine resin, myrrh, hemp, cumin seed, lead [engraved with the character of Saturn from bk II ch 9 of the Ghayat], sapphire, gold marcasite, vulture feathers, and Cretan ibex tibia [scavenged]; which were sealed with an 18 karat gold setting, mounted with a pyramid-cut onyx.
Each talisman arrives in a keepsake jewelry box bearing a wax seal of the glyph of Saturn.
Coins are available for $717 and include a vial of Saturn in Capricorn powder, which can be sprinkled on the bottom of the jewelry box (talismans love basking in the aura of their corresponding herbal matter).
These are going to be dropped in batches… since Saturn in Capricorn only comes along every 28 years.
Four of the ornate necklaces are being made available to the public (total), two of which will arrive with large Altar Box Sets, one of which will be offered to Plus Members in private auction.
$717 – $4,717

Steady and solid, a single coin friend of Saturnian virtue and deep strength.
My first ever TM talisman has not disappointed. Strength and reassurance. Grounding and prudence. There is a unique gift here — the Saturnian wisdom of both enough and go forth.
This was my first S+S talisman (thanks to the Plus Membership!!) and it exceeded my expectations. I was enamored of the pendant but I could only get the coin on my budget. I feared I’d regret getting the coin but it was just as beautiful as the pendant and it seems to be a good fit for me. I was cautious of buying Saturn materia but he’s only been a great ally. When I carry the coin, I feel grounded, calm, and clear-headed. And I’ve begun a weekly devotion on his day and have felt his support when I’ve needed more focus and discipline. I’m looking forward to seeing how the talismanic coin will aid me in the future.
Per usual with my interactions with Saturn, it was like consuming a concoction of bitter Chinese medicine (childhood memories <3) that is much needed in my life. Fortunately, Jupiter's placement in a conjunction with the election helped make the energy a lot more palatable and I felt like it resonated with my natal Jupiter in Capricorn placement as well. This talisman's energy was a much needed contrast to what I experienced with the Jupiter in Sagittarius materia. Jupiter in Sagittarius uplifted and it made me want to try everything in order to get an idea of what's out there, but Saturn in Capricorn helped me reign it all in and cull what doesn't resonate so that I can refine what I really want. My chart is also fairly sparse with planets in Earth signs, so I felt like this was much needed in my sphere. I also noticed that my workout routine shifted (my natal Saturn in the 6th) from in home workouts to climbing and traversing extremely rocky hiking trails.
This bitter medicine is making me feel more centered than I have been in a long time, or maybe for the first time ever.
