Sword of St. Michael

This is a powerful oil that immediately eased my feeling of vulnerability. I anointed doors and windows and the sense of protection and personal empowerment was immediate and palpable.

I have only used Sword of St Michael a few times but they were all BIZARRE and weirdly successful. If you do any kind of endurance-based exercise it's powerful and gives you that little bit extra, also works for anything yogic and breath/voice based. I don't recommend application in combination with alcohol and challenging relatives, it makes you both thirsty and mouthy. On the upside, I've never been invited back.

Deeply protective and good for connecting with Michael. It smells lovely and I anointed a garden box of roses with it to both enhance the rose's protective allyship and as an offering to him and the rose plants. Highly recommend to anyone looking for protection from the angelic realm, this is lovely!

This is such a lovely, unique oil. True to the description, I've really felt its empowering effects when applied in situations where I am feeling victimised by people in power. It's good for finding allies in people who hold more power over me, but simultaneously steeling myself against those who are marginalising me and hurting me through their ignorance and neglect. It smells lovely too, very warming and citrus-y. I've found it can cause slight irritation thought, so be aware if you have sensitive skin where you apply it.

This oil has remarkable staying power! I put it on before a hike, and the lovely scent blended with the perfume of the trees and flowers in the woods. I came home and showered, and I could still smell it hours after that. It was a wonderful way to bring the Angel-Saint back into consciousness all day. I pray to Michael daily, and this beautiful oil has become part of that daily devotion. I have not yet had a chance to use it specifically in the context of a protection working, but I plan to soon. I have set up a "shield of Michael" as described in the Hadean Press chapbook on St Michael by Alexzander & Aldarnay, facing the entry to my apartment. I plan to use the oil to anoint the mirror and prayer card involved in that warding.

In the lead-up to the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in January 2020, I was called to daily use & prayer with this oil. As is true of all of the TAL + S&S collaborations, it smells incredible and is buzzing with potency. Its use confers the sense that one is being defended from things both perceptible and imperceptible, and adds a layer of courage amidst otherwise challenging moments, including the navigation of inner darkness. Archangel Michael is a very responsive being, in my experience, and heart-felt prayers further enhance the sensations of safety & being held when applying this oil. Strongly recommend.

I love this oil, I used it to anoint some protection stones and myself and my family's in times when I felt unsure or unprotected. It brings a familiar comfort and sense of safety. Somehow, reminds me of my grandmother and her faith in angels. The scent is delicious.

Upon smelling this oil for the first time, I immediately broke out in tears. It is profoundly soothing, protective, and reassuring. The promise of the Divine coming to our aid and to our rescue. I've used to anoint myself on days where work or life feels most intense and I need reassurance for the battle.

This oil is amazing! I honestly can’t help but feel it was made just for me! It’s clearly both empowering and protective and I can’t help but feel at home with it; I’ve used it to consecrate/charge my sword and nickel silver wand, and on a commissioned drawing of the very Angel Michael himself, that I am still working on. I have had many synchronicities with St. Michael since I started this drawing, the appearance of this oil being one of them (and coming across a mural of the same exact image of Michael I am working on in my new neighborhood by my home etc). This really sets the vibes straight and brings down the Divine Flames

I'm so impressed with this oil. I'd been reluctant to work with angels since other practitioners who've done successful DSIC work have said that angels are obsessed with purity. I ritually bathe before operations more often than not, but let's say it's been a few years since I've been to confession.
Anyway, fast forward to me making sator squares for all the doors and windows in my new apartment. I suffumigate the papers with Aldebaran incense and apply this oil on five points during the hour of Mars on a Sunday. I'm sure some will say that there was some kind of placebo effect, but my home immediately felt safer. A respiratory-flu thing that had plagued me for what seemed like three weeks began to finally leave my body. And my spirits are undoubtedly much, much better. I was in a terrible funk for so long, and this oil and other materia from the series pulled me out of it in a very noticeable way. What would I do without you, Sphere+Sundry?
