So. I have been what one might call a “problem sleeper” for pretty much my whole life. I’m known for thrashing, kicking, flailing, smacking, carrying on long conversations that sometimes turn into yelling, sitting up suddenly and staying that way for hours— all while still asleep. Oh, plus my chronic nightmares.
Over the years, I’ve tried a variety of different remedies. I had a sleep study done, but that night my sleep wasn’t nearly as active as normal (of course!), so that was a failure. I briefly used a CPAP machine in an attempt to ameliorate my mild sleep apnea, but that *definitely* didn’t turn out well either. The various medications I tried never ended up working out: they were too intense for me (even in small doses), or they would interact poorly with my other prescriptions, or the side effects were just too fucked up & gnarly.
Due to my fibromyalgia and Crohn’s disease combined with my mental health & sleep issues, I can confidently say that never once in my life have I woken up feeling refreshed and well-rested instead of feeling like utter shit. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but I really mean it.
So I’m sure one can easily imagine the kind of trouble my sleep problems have caused me in serious romantic relationships. I lived alone for a long time so it wasn’t as much of an issue then— I do know that I freaked out my neighbors on multiple occasions, though!
…And then my partner moved in with me a few months ago. He is an incredibly light sleeper (and tends to be a bit anxious in general), so sharing a bed has been a damn nightmare (literally and figuratively).
Enter: Exalted Luna.
The first night, I steeped and drank half a mug before bed…and I slept like a rock. A calm, still, nonverbal rock. I couldn’t remember my dreams the next morning but I’m fairly sure I didn’t have nightmares, either. My partner got the first night of sound sleep he’d had in a couple months, and was overcome with gratitude upon waking.
The following night, I realized I still had half a mug of EL tea next to the bed and drank it. Since it had been steeping for 24 hours, it tasted absolutely delicious but oh boy did it end up being too strong! Consequently, I had intensely vivid, detailed dreams, and apparently I thrashed around/talked a little, but to be fair, not nearly as much as I would on a typical night. The following evening, I went back to drinking a mug of freshly steeped tea (lol) and once again, I slept peacefully and quietly.
(Well, quietly might not be entirely accurate, as I was told I still snore— but certainly no more screeching and no serious movement other than slight shifts.)
Since then, I’ve been drinking a cup of it most nights— for me, 15 minutes seems to be a good length of time, using water that’s not quite boiling.
In addition, I’ve turned tea time into a nightly ritual, which means I’m successfully maintaining a regular magical practice (something I’ve often struggled with), and the benefits are paying off in that realm as well (syncs & opening roads abound!).
Last but definitely not least, when I woke up the other day, I actually felt…okay.
My body didn’t feel like an ancient crumbling statue, my joints ached much less than normal, and holy shit— I wasn’t even grumpy (something I never thought would be possible)! Considering the clusterfuck of health bullshit I deal with, I really don’t expect to wake up feeling refreshed, renewed, and rarin’ to go—perhaps in time, but for now I am more than happy with waking up feeling okay.

My friend left an emotionally abusive marriage after two decades. Although she's safe in a new home, she began to have trouble sleeping, and felt like her ex was trying to re-establish energetic ties with her in her dreams (he is not a "practitioner" per se, but he has some juice to throw around). Among other solutions, I gave her Deneb Algedi water to spray on her pillow and sheets. With regular use, she reports a sharp decrease in nightmares and night terrors. She feels like he's being "averted" (her word) from her sleeping self, and unable to connect. It's helping so much that I just bought her a second bottle.

When I first purchased, I used this salve for more classical mercurial ends — helping me with writing, school, focus, and the like. I then it put away in my materia boxes for a while and forgot about it, and in that time had had a personal shift towards healing old injuries in my muscles and joints, relying heavily on Asclepius materia. After a certain point of daily applications, I began feeling like I 'maxed-out' the efficacy that Asclepius could give me. I rediscovered EM salve and wondered if it might help re-energize the healing of these old stubborn injuries. Much to my delight, I've found it to do exactly that! When applied to these injuries I feel a burst of new life, space, and healing energy present, as if its waking up blood flow and movement to these areas of my body that have forgotten how to heal. While Asclepius salve alone feels very soothing and medicinal, when layered with EM Salve i can feel it increase the penetrating ability of the Asclepius materica, almost as if EM is waking up all these nerve endings so that Asclepius can use them to bring healing into these forgotten places. Healthy Movement is being reawakened, thanks to the blessings of Exalted Mercury! P.S. I haven't felt inspired to write a review in a while, but as a side effect EM couldn't help but inspire me to share these findings with you all...

Earlier in the day I'd caught a bit of a podcast about a Marvel comic. And I'm working on a story of my own, and figured Froggy could help. He surely did, sounding initially like a Cockney and being a bit here-and-there with his comments until I requested he tone it down, which he did. By then I'd noticed the wit, the frame-jumping (ribbit), the playfulness.

And then, I readied to head out. Somehow my phone played maybe two more minutes of that podcast. Until then it had been nothing special. What followed was...umm...spellbinding. How Marvel cooked up a plan with industry news mag Wizard to fake a history for new character Sentry that went back decades. On this day of Mercury, what could be more Mercurial?

Later, out and about, I chanced on and bought a handsome silvery frog perched one end of a text magnifier. And recall now the Brass Frog of King Solomon, a Marvel concoction afaik, comprising twin frogs with the ability to send people anywhen in time. Maybe beyond the fourth wall, which is where that inspiration now takes me.

I had some apprehension about this oil. Dour old Saturn, cramping my style. Making a scratchy-quilled list and checking it thrice. But respect too, with a growing sense of the double-act he pulls with Jupiter. Mostly though, fear of Saturn being a grouch because though I'm astro-naive am aware there's a lot of that going on in my chart. Apprehension then, of being hauled before the boss. Only - none of that.

Instead, I'm drawn to ye olde time music of Talking Heads. And a track from their final album Naked. The video for Nothing But Flowers brings to life the feel of this remarkable oil: weighty matters assessed with a view to better times a-coming. Greys and blacks worn by dour-looking performers, grim data onscreen, and the jaunty Aquarian music they're playing. S-in-A for me has been a tender guide through a time of renewal, more kind with me than I've often been with myself and at times others. Sure, Asclepius has been part of all this, and more too. Exalted Luna has been such a deeply sweet materia. My Leo Moon purrs when I put it on. I find it an excellent support with releasing the need to effort and get things done (it’s been a great balancing agent to Mars x Jupiter Water, Golden Gator, and Badger.) It’s an absolute joy to pair it with Asclepius - it has absolutely changed my relationship to my chronic pain. I can rest easy, knowing I am supported and cared for. I’d highly recommend it if you are mending your relationship to self, rest, pleasure, and slowing down in a way that feels safe to the nervous system. Exalted Luna is my forever love.

In a TCM, I’ve been struggling with yin deficiency and so after an acupuncture session, I like to apply Exalted Luna to the points that need support. (Namely KD1, this Salve feels amazing on your feet).

Did I mention it smells incredible? I find it intoxicating.

Really an effective for: doing the damn thing, clearing up harmful thought-patterns (especially overwhelm) and tapping into your own resilience + competency. I found that it brought my Capricorn placements into balance and effort instead of collapsing under the pressure and weight of my own ambitions + expectations! This is a great materia for those who need to get out of their own way.

I found Mars-Jupiter Water to be supportive during the recent Mars Retrograde in Cancer for mobilizing my energy after feeling so completely depleted. It can be agitating if taken too closely to bed time and the energy hasn’t been exerted - I found it was best to use it to help prime physical activity. I love the scent - it’s spicy and gives you a little kick out of your chair.

I have a knee that aches a bit by the end of the day. I used the bath salts on it in the shower (I don’t have a bathtub in my current rental so I use the bath salts by rubbing them all over myself in the shower.) I put the intention of healing, silence and energy cleansing and said a few-words of prayer to Asclepius and forgot about it. I just realized that it’s the end of the day and my ache is gone! I’m very pleased with the results. Thank you Asclepius!

I'd already used the salve of EL to relax, mostly, the candle, and the EL tincture, mostly to mix with other tinctures, but my experience with the oil has been very different. I've also been starfishing lol, and it feels very very powerful. It has allowed me to perceive other's emotions and states, not in an uncomfortable way, I do have quite good energetic boundaries, but it allows me to see them. I've also dreamed about my mother in a very pleasant manner every night I've worn it (I do have a good relationship with her, I just don't often dream about her). Being able to recall my dreams every night is also different.

I'm kind of a loner, and this is helping me build better connections with people.

It smells like honey to me, even though I don't see it in the ingredient list.

Before it arrived I incidentally came into contact with two very interesting books that related to lunar subjects, kinda prepping the way, I think, for the deeper intuition I seem to be developing with the help of this oil. I got a couple of Fomy bpals for this purpose, but I seem to be getting better results with this and really quickly.

Taurus in my 8th house so I initially thought I would be skipping this series (I also had very powerful results with the Venus in Taurus series) but I'm very glad I didn't.

This being a Saturn oil, I waited to ensure that Saturn was in dignity on May 3, 2025, during Saturn’s hour. The cool-headed, mature approach of Saturn is coming through well, something I was indeed hoping to upgrade to (from my natal peregrine Saturn). It ‘played nice’ with the Enochian Saturnian king & Prince I evoked, and I’m happy to report that, after careful injoining the angels against negative effects, I’m doing better and calmer physically and mentally. There’s stuff to do, I can do it, and I will do it to make my life better, happier, and less bad. Which is a lot, seeing as I already have a lot to manage, but I think the ‘inner steel’ of this election is coming through nicely.

I’ve used this oil three distinct times with intention vs passive use and in each instance (twice for my own ailments and once for a family member) I’ve found that it doesn’t immediately alleviate the pain/illness - it seems like it needs to run its course thoroughly - but the healing process is incredibly fast. Like, complete recovery as if nothing ever happened, no lingering side effects type of fast. Surprising to medical professionals type of fast. So, so thankful.

I am working on launching a new business and this has been a huge boost to the confidence I need to do so. However, it tastes quite bitter so if that's a problem you might just want to do honey jars and such with it.

I’ve been dying to write a review just so I can rave about how pungent and dank this smell smells, yet eye opening and clarifying. Masculine, smart sophisticated, but knows how to work hard and reshape the earth with his bare hands. I love the licorice notes. This kolonia means business…puts the stankonya! Perspiration meets inspiration.

The magic is on point as I noticed skin tingling, but the scent almost immediately dissipated when it hit the water. I was hoping for similar aromatherapy as the oils. A wonderful addition if you’re adding to other bath products that are more heavily scented.

Doesn’t come on too strong, but rolls out fast! Difficult to use sparingly but why would you want to be skimpy with something this wonderful? Love to slather and reapply often

Very youthful and comes off like cotton candy. I love the way the smells in the bottle, but it wears down a little too syrupy with my body chemistry. I love the crisp brightness overtone for warm weather, but the dry down is heavy. It actually reminds me a of a Cartier fragrance I used to love, had a hint of fennel and apple… so I’m looking forward to making a custom body oil with this which I find a complementary scent that tones it down the way I want.

Mature, respectable, and enjgmatic. Flirty yet sophisticated and attracts the right kind of attention. Versatile for day and night. It wasn’t my favorite at first, but overtime I come to find it works very well with my body chemistry. I wear this when I need to be likable, but not a pushover.

Big fan of this series, but I purchased this perfume specifically to pair with Saturn and Aquarius oil. They are a fitting pair! The scent profile is soft floral and cooling and paired with the oil grounds the scent. Reinforces boundaries without outright repelling… admire for afar and catch my breeze as I walk away…look but don’t touch 😉

Uplifting and clarifying, energizing and focusing, but soothing. this compliments, my natal chart very well. Excellent for an overactive nervous system that still needs to be focused. Not the best for pain relief in it own right, but grateful for neck and back massage to help ease mental agitation that exasperates pain. It takes hypersensitivity down a notch without being sedative.

Perfect for every ritual and protocol. I used it to temper malefics and the aid healing. Great for energy work and moving qi. I remember my last purchase being a little bit more potent, but I prefer the lightness of this batch a compliment vs standing alone.

Purchased to cool off during Mars in Leo with Saturn moving into AQ. It will help with appetite suppression and will remind you of the back ache, which reminds me to be mindful. Excellent for good posture during meditation.

I bought the Azure Dragon as later of the Antares mini bottle set to mitigate a poor Mars Rx in Libra. I keep going back to this one again and again; putting it on helps me shrug off my long term fatigue and makes me feel great!

I bought a house within the past year, and I've been feeling vaguely unsettled in it. We're in a moderately sized city on a busy road. There's a liquor store a few blocks down that people often walk past our house to and from, and I've had at least one somewhat frightening encounter where a belligerent man banged on my door and insisted that he slipped and fell on our sidewalk and that we would have to pay him. Other encounters with folks walking by have been less bothersome but still gave a vague sense of unease. Our neighbor has been recently just letting their dog run around in our partially fenced backyard without asking. To top things off, I was planning our first party in the house and wanted to ensure that those whose impact on my life was negative would be made obvious and barred from entering.

I used the full 1/2 oz on the property line, feeling compelled to draw a very strong, literal line around the home. Additionally, I paired it with a spritz of the Waters of Thema Mundi on my person to act as a protective barrier against the more potentially corrosive side effects, which I think is why the experience of casting with the salts was so pleasant. But the effects were immediate and impressive. My overall sense of well-being increased instantly upon completion of the spell. I have barely noticed the road noise since then, and despite the weather continually getting nicer, not a soul has knocked on our door, bothered us when we've been out in the yard, and even the amount of litter we've been getting in the yard has basically dropped to zero overnight.

A day or two after the spell, I finally caught the neighbor letting their dog run around in our yard. I had decided from the first day I found out that it's not that I minded, but I wanted to be asked and have it acknowledged that their use of the yard is contingent on some boundaries. Prior to drawing the Wall, I had either missed them doing it and heard about it later from my husband, or have seen them on days where I was tied up (in a Zoom meeting or phone call, watching them from my office). I introduced myself, let them know it's fine to let their dog run around the yard, but politely asked them to be mindful of picking up poop or toys. They were very respectful about it and in the weeks since that encounter, we've had zero issues. I even met the other neighbor a week later, after they had started to let their dog run around back there too, and was able to have the same conversation with them - firm, but warm 🙂

Finally, I have been waiting for the party to pass my final judgment of these ritual salts and post this review. Absolutely delighted, and borderline flabbergasted. My small hometown from which I invited several guests is very, very interconnected and there are a lot of social expectations re: who you invite. This is a gross oversimplification of the nuances of the situation, but it'll do. Additionally, I have a sibling that I have been vaguely estranged from for about a decade that I decided to invite as we have both spent a great deal of time in therapy and self reflection for that period of time. I was incredibly anxious about this, but I knew I wanted them to come to the party - but not overstay their welcome.

The guest list initially included 28 people, knowing full well that a few invites were just to be polite as those individuals would have to travel too far, or were simply not people who attended parties. A few were to family members that I felt obligated to invite. And others were partners of friends that, quite frankly, I can't stand. These "no"s came almost right away. Excellent. The next batch of "no"s trickled in the next week: a friend I'm ambivalent about being revealed to be perceived as someone who would do me harm by the Wall, it seems, and a few friends I can see now I've overextended myself to try and accommodate, only to receive little in return.

The final two "no"s were only revealed to me on the day of the party, yet I knew in my heart before the day ever came that they would never set foot on my property. The cherry on top is that my sibling was only in my house for maybe 30 minutes before they decided they were going to head out. We had socialized earlier that day at an event at a different location, and this moment of, yes, this is my home, very nice, alright then, till next time, was exactly what I had envisioned prior to it happening.

When they left, I could feel the same distinct zing of energy that coursed through me while casting the protection spell with these salts. Intoxicating. The guest list was 100% what I envisioned and we had a truly spectacular night. Austin and Kate did a fantastic job with this component and I'm deeply grateful to have found materia that is so potent and precise. I would highly recommend these salts to anyone wanting to ensure the safety and sanctity of their space.
