Salve of Capricorn II

I noticed help with bone/joint pain when using this salve. I wear it during the day at work and it definitely draws teamwork to the forefront. I’m still new to working with it so I’m sure other things will become apparent as I do so. The smell is a light pleasant scent that doesn’t linger.

I had to tiptoe my way into using this one, I get headaches and migraines easily, so I tend to be hesitant with Mars especially if it isn't a cleansing form. I think I use this sparingly enough that I haven't experienced any of those side effects (yay!). I have been having another bout of terrible pain in a couple of areas that tend to get angry from stress. As long as it is daytime I can use this and it works wonders on the areas of pain. I may have to reapply if it is really bad, but I find it especially helpful when I need to go to work.. Pairs great with Asclepius salve! Really loving the forms that can be applied to the physical body.

So, one evening I was possessed to use this in “off label” fashion, impulsively grabbing it while getting intimate with myself. What followed was the most divine sense of surrender to the kind of masculine presence that has “just got this”. It left me feeling wild, joyful, and satiated. Yes that is what a well directed Mars can do, especially with such a vibrant better-than-barbershop scent. Utterly intoxicating.
I fell asleep peacefully, and the next morning woke up noticing immediately what I wanted to accomplish. Yes it took that kind of personal application, applied the night before, for the message to really sink in. I actually got shit done for once.
Hopefully not just once as the whole point of engaging with S+S is to level up my normal. But you get what I mean. The experience helped me absorb Capricorn II in a way I hadn’t before. I have not been able to replicate this, as putting it on at night now makes me wakeful. But I’m glad the materia spoke to me so vividly, at least one time.

I have used this salve a lot when I had low back pain for like a month... and it helped feeling better, ease the pain, having more capacity to use my body even when in pain, and to go for walks. It has also helped me a lot when I needed to go biking, walking long walks, or for other aches in the body. It's very much grounding, it feels reinforcing, revigorating, protecting. So yes, everything said in the description feels very accurate to me !

I misplaced this tin, and haven't used it for nearly 6 months. I've since taken to Saturn in Aquarius spell soap several showers per week, and now that I found this again, I apply it after each shower on my legs and feet and it's been an incredible blessing. I'm back to full time work after being on medical leave, so getting up to speed has been challenging, leaning back into 50+ hour weeks while my body continues healing and I'm pretty wiped out still. I can barely believe I have the stamina to be on my feet all day! Best is that I don't have an energy hangover - meaning I don't push myself past the limit and then crash afterwards.

Salves might be my favorite form of S&S materia. This one has an immediate effect on soothing pain in muscles and joints.

The spicy scent of this is addictive. It is the ideal choice for staying centered and focused during the workday, without the pressured edge that I sometimes get from Mercury materia.

I bought this salve for help in my new job, where I’m working VERY long hours - sometimes upwards of 60-70 hour weeks. This salve is *guaranteed* to fix any feelings of “man I really don’t wanna do this today” and immediately makes my body feel awake, strong, and eager to take on the day. Even better, wearing this salve has attracted support from my new coworkers. Many of them have approached me and offered their help and mentorship, which has been SO important as the training period at this job has been more like a sink-or-swim, figure it out yourself kind of vibe. Combined with a drop of tincture in my morning tea, and I feel ready to handle anything!

I really like this series, however, prolonged use isn't ideal for me. Well, using some of the ointment still helps keep you doing things and provides some relief for your joints, especially your knees, soles of your feet, and lower back. Although I usually use it for two days at most, now that Mars has left Cancer (my natal Mars), I'll try it a little longer and see how it goes.
