shortly after i made an offering of this honey in water to my matrilineal line especially, my mother received a surprise refund of which she shared some with me bc "it's like what grandma would do." i hope for all the short and longer term healing IH can bring us.
I admit that I have taken the risk to ingest this on my own accord. It takes delicious and gives such a warming, soothing energy like the Divine Mothers are wrapping me up in their arms which has been such a gift this past year. It would also make an excellent offering in ancestor veneration.
My favorite way to use this honey is as an offering for land spirits and my ancestors! It’s actually one of the first S+ products I got—i’m surprised I never wrote a review! It’s a lovely product, so easy to use, and a teaspoon in some offered tea has gone a longgg way towards building relationships. Highly recommend!
The honey feels more like medicine for the psyche, carries calming and self-accepting energy, sweetening the feelings and helping to release what could not be change.
I’m a long term practitioner of ancestor veneration, but not of any born or initiated lineage. It’s just something I do. My only previous experience with sweetening was a sugar jar spell, but it wasn’t a success (probably because I didn’t continue working it) so I wasn’t very confident in sweetening work.
I purchased this item anyway with the intention of making a honey jar for my ancestors as an enchanted offering. I’m happy to report they love it! The unruly ones are calmer and no longer contentious. My connection with the ones who felt more distant has been strengthened and communication with them has improved. They feel more unified now and just happier.
I’ve only recently been fortunate enough to receive instruction on how to manage the more difficult of my ancestors. It’s not an easy process and to me, not very fun. The honey jar has solved those issues and I’m so glad because it’s saving me a lot of work I really wasn’t looking forward to doing.
I *highly* recommend using *this* honey to make a jar for your ancestors, especially if you have difficult individuals in the mix. It helps your ancestors heal and that goes so far in building a strong foundation in your life and spiritual practices and in healing your living family and frankly, the world.
A final note: I made the honey jar without ceremony, just as you would do with standard conjure work, but for the first time in a conjure working I slid into ritual headspace. I had already been attuning myself with the tincture, but this was the first work I’ve used S+S in and the power was phenomenal. The trance was as intense as what I experience in long ceremonial workings. Talismanic indeed!
A very special honey! I had to 'honey pot' myself toward a situation that required intense emotional support that I didn't think I had to give. With this lovely electuary, I discovered resources of compassion I could not previously access. The heart-softening aspects of this magic were (*are* lol) the medicine I needed and it has been a blessing to be able to offer them to a difficult situation. I also made peace with an old grief related to this. Deep healing is available here and the best medicine of all is be able to offer abundant love without reservation.
