Turkish colognes are often sprinkled upon the hands before entering one’s household or business establishment, providing some natural sanitation and also a delightful scent. This can be used in such a way, or as a type of Venusian Florida Water for energetic cleansing, drawing peace, love, and adoration — anytime or before ritual. Makes it difficult for nasties to glom on or penetrate the auric body.
Shake well to integrate and disburse drops of essential oil before use.
Energy Clearing Protocol
For energetic cleansing, sprinkle about a half teaspoon onto the palms of the hands and gently but thoroughly rub together for 10 or so seconds, coating both sides. The hands can float 2 inches from the body or be lightly touching it.
Stand and run your palms from the crown of your head down the back of the head, then start from the top again, going down the front of your face and body, all the way down to the tops of your feet. If you feel any areas “sticking”, continue stroking them until energies disperse, and then proceed with downward sweeping.
Continue skimming from the head downward, running your cologned hands across every surface area, including under the arms, groin, and rear, concluding with the bottoms of the feet by lifting them. You can “flick” the energy off if it feels right, or it will dissipate naturally, however you prefer.
Take 10-30 seconds to close your eyes and integrate the cleansing, feeling the shift, and thank Venus for her protection, sealing the auric body from that which does not serve.
Kolonías can also be used before performing reiki, energy work, or any other healing activity, on clients or loved ones. It can be done on the self, objects, or 3rd parties.
Other Applications
This can also be added to baths, floor washes, essential oil diffusers, or dishes of water kept at the bedside for love-drawing and clarifying.

Love this Kolonia, it has an invigorating and refreshing effect. I usually combine it with my Venus rites and then circulate it through my aura and it works wonders. It has a very light energetic signature that is fresh and uplifting.
I love adding a splash of VAD Kolonia to floor wash when I clean my house. Not only does it impart a lovely smell, it instantly relaxes and harmonizes the space. Great for adding a clean and peaceful feel to your vessel and home. Love it!
I love using this Kolonia on Friday mornings. It becomes a paean to hair in all its beauty. This morning’s ritual was particularly nourishing. I put a bit in my palms, rub them, per instructions, until it gets sticky.
I then hold my palms in front of my face and allow the energies to deeply penetrate. Moving my hands up, I run them through my etheric hair, very slowly, not touching the physical, as if I have a huge wild mane, .
Moving slowly across the top of my head then down across the back. After a few passes, I move my hands to my ears – one over each ear. I ‘reach out’ to the cilia of my ears, bathing them in Eirene’s peace, then down across the back of my neck.
Moving downwards, hands brushing the etheric hair of my chest, then belly, Reaching out to the villi of my digestive tract, nourishing them, several spiraling passes over the belly.
Downwards into the forest, brushing the etheric, across the bottom, downwards around thighs and calves.
Then back up to the face and head.
Refreshed, awakened and alive!
I’ve been using this on a near-daily basis since it launched. As with most of the materia in this series (for me— ymmv of course), it gives me a wonderful lightness of being, clarity, and focus. It also helps me stay above the petty. Irritating minor annoyances simply fade out when I use this. Great before work meetings and most other engagements with the public.
This kolonia smells wonderful all on its own, but the impact of its power is next level. Flirty and fun, this is definitely not safe for work. It amps up enjoyment of pleasures and random conversations with friendly strangers. This is my go-to for parties or any type of social event where I need to be “on”.
Light and effervescent, true to its Venus in Libra air element nature. The scent is lovely, both gently citrusy and softly green and ir lingers for a good half hour on your hands and wherever it makes contact. It’s like the perfect first layer before applying additional VAD products.
I slept for way too long on the kolonias! This was my first one and I love it. The process feels so cleansing in a literal and physica way, and maybe it’s because my chart is so earthy, but anything with that kind of immediately tangible impact really elevates the experience for me. I’ve used it to clear and prep my personal energy field to great effect, but I’m hoping it sticks around long enough for me to buy a larger quantity to use in floor washes before social gatherings.
The VAD kolonia was my intro to S+S and I’m absolutely stunned by how much power it carries.
