I feel as though dissolved when using this. It is an intensely yin feeling - connected and receptive. It doesn’t leave me feeling vulnerable or spongey to other energies or ungrounded however, rather… more amorphous. I especially enjoy it out in secluded nature (sprinkled in my hair), or while meditating.

I think Fomalhaut helps me access/ integrate depths in ways I haven't fully understood. There's a peacefulness to the energy and it feels very "there for me for when I'm ready"

This powder immediately re-immersed me in a dream cycle from many years ago. It was such a sweet reminder of a powerful time, that was suddenly being integrated on a whole new level. I've heard others refer to Fomalhaut helping to find lost things, this felt like it was finding a "lost" completion of some deep inner journey that I hadn't known I was missing. Gentle and amazing.

Powders are so effective and have so many uses - I feel like Fomalhaut responds better to combinations with water than with say, candle magic. I’ve used it in candle magic and it worked to help find a car (combined with Mercury), and also had excellent effects with it combined with Quicksilver Tongue to write a ritual. On its own, it’s strange and difficult to describe (as magical work often is!). Mixed with lotion and applied to the body, it gives the sense that there is something happening deep below the surface - great for working with tarot or dream imagery.

Don't sleep on powders - they are some of the most versatile of S+S materia. I lightly dust oracle and tarot cards, dress candles, wear it in a locket, etc. It is such a beautiful star, constantly, but gently dredging up lost or forgotten things, ready for resolution and integration.

I use this powder to dress candles during monthly devotionals and relationship building with Fomalhaut and it is so lovely, it always brings out such clear messages during divination.

I was gifted bone from a sea critter awhile back, by someone who found it walking along the beach. I decided to use some powder with a tealight to help connect this bone to the stars, to bridge between different realms, because I felt it was a duty for me to act as this intermediary. The experience was incredible beyond words, and really also just fun! I now have a new ally.

I dress tea lights with Fomalhaut powder in my writing area when I’m working on fiction and it makes it much easier to float into the zone. *And* I recently discovered that Fom powder is a brilliant companion for therapy sessions, too. The oceanic action works in both directions so beautifully—drifting out into the imaginal realm for inspiration, sinking down into the subconscious for healing pearls of insight. I love this fascinating star and am grateful to Kaitlin for venturing forth to make its treasures accessible to us.

I wasn't sure of my compatibility with Fomalhaut, but I've really enjoyed my time with it thus far. I've been using the powder as a candle dressing as an aid to get "in the zone" creatively. It feels very expansive in a gentle way. I don't get overwhelmed by the use of this powder, but I can feel it prodding me forward in the work that I'm doing. Definitely helps take me further into the depths -- I've been really happy with the results.

Of anything I've gotten, this is the one that's seemed to spark the most synchronicities. When this arrived, my husband and I were working our way through Star Wars animated content. The episode that came on after I unpacked the materia was called "The Call" - it involved space whales. Looking back at my notebooks from that month, I noticed I was also listening to sea shanties which...is not the norm for me. So I would say this powder made quite the entrance! This powder is now incredibly special to me because my kitty who just passed was obsessed with it. Even before I unwrapped it, he was pawing at the tissue paper. When I would get it out, he would show up in the room moments later and try to pick it up with his teeth! I loved that he was so drawn to this because it is so spot on for him. He refused to eat anything but fish and his Sun was in Pisces. Now that our cat has moved on, I may end up saving the powder for offerings for him and working with the tincture for the journeying and creative work I intended when I chose this. The impact it's had before I've even gotten to work with it in a dedicated way makes me very intrigued to see what may come.
