I'm a Virgo rising with a weak angular Mars in a day chart, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover how strong a connection with Antares I felt, given how tough my relationship with Mars is.

Badger - best smelling of the bunch. Good for exercise and endurance sports, pushing past your limits.

Azure Dragon - delightful. I'm a bit Wood-heavy as a person, so maybe this is me enjoying energy I already possess, but this is much friendlier than the other Antares subsets. Cheerful and energizing.

Emperor Scorpion - Be careful with this one. Strong 'don't fuck with me' energy, which did not match well to some events I wore it to. Found myself assessing people for dominance and scowling frequently, not typical for me.

Base set - I have used this one the least. Brought out my critical nature and caused friction, but also lead to a killer workout that day.

I add the photo out of jest, because this set arrives with sound effects and the feeling of specifically assigned accessories, just like when you get an action figure from THAT scene in the movie. Full of syncs too. Funny and companionable, like that band of brothers bond feel, not toxic gym bro. But, it isn’t free of the reason we love good hearted die hards who laugh rather than bite you back when you tease. You can use these guys for chores, but you will hurt the wounded way while you do—if that’s crying while vacuuming about missing out on the swim team, or that you were more bad ass than your privileged counter part, whatever—these guys burn for the laugh that needs to laugh or curse off the pain. And then has a power up moment, and so on. And, each oil is so, so different, but they really are built in with safe and healthy vent and walkabout spirit path approaches to help you get through it to why and what and who—ya know. Love that this WAS as set to come together, and the oils did too.

These oils have been like a Martial energy training seminar (it looks like another reviewer felt this too!). Working with them has taught me so much about inner strength, power, and perseverance. I also had a really cool experience of Badger causing a historically very cruel and manipulative family member to back away from me (with zero effort on my part!). These are super strong and it’s good to have Aesclepius or Venus or similar material on hand to temper the fire if need be.

There is so much to be gleaned by just *using* the magic and reflecting on your experiences, and accessing this mini sampler of the Oils of Antares is no exception. Each of these oils has a different vibe and a different quality, which makes working with them an excellent learning experience. Personally I love being able to pick and choose which is why having this sampler is powerful: sometimes the one you need/connect with the most isn’t the one you would pick out yourself, you know? Absolutely love being able to sit with these and mediate on their secrets (which are many….this is a secretive series). Get them and have fun!

The first one I tried was Azure Dragon. I e struggled with energy and motivation this past year due to grieving a loss and I found Azure Dragon to be a great mood booster in a very smooth way. It felt like easy energy. I couldn’t get over how smooth it felt. I worked with Antares & Asclepius to get some cleaning up done and it felt very supporting. I’ve also used Badger for focus and found that it also energized me in a positive way — singing joyfully to music in my car as I happily buzzed around town.

I wasn’t certain about how Antares would jive with my very Martial constitution, so the mini sampler option was much appreciated! I’ve mostly focused on getting to know Azure Dragon this far, and it has been a cool, confidence-building delight, especially when I am out and about in the world. I look forward to playing around with the others in this series!

This subset feels the gentlest of all of Antares- but very powerful. It helps me to sustain my workouts and I synchronistically, I found a sex toy outside on the sidewalk during my run.

I love working with Antares and the mini oil set is a nice sampler for when you want to test the qualities of each subset but can't invest in large oils. And these aren't as tiny as they look, they last quite a while. I'm partial to Azure Dragon and settled on a large oils for myself but I love having the option of using the others if I need to.

I love these mini-sets for getting to know a series (and figuring out which oil I'll want to buy full-sized eventually). These have very different expressions but I love them all--Azure Dragon and Badger have been the quickest to understand and Scorpion+Antares base are a slower burn for me, but I love having the option to feel out which will work for a given situation and get to know their energies.

If you're a bit uncertain as to what version of Antares you want to handle/worth with, this set is a wonderful primer to each of the different Antares subsets - and I can say that you don't need a lot!
The Antares energy is potent in helping to drive through a goal. Want to exercise more and get a consistent boost of energy? Working with the Badger has done wonders for races and long distances. Want to go to a string of social events and still have some energy at the end of the night? I've found Azure Dragon an excellent dancing partner (just partner AD with some Venus oil to ease some of the excitement).
I've still been wary of working with Emperor Scorpio and just Antares, but I can tell each of those are equally potent partners and since getting the whole series, I've been consistently waking up early (no matter what time I went to bed the night before). Highly recommend for just "get it done" energy!
