This Kolonía is like being cleansed of all concerns and being wrapped in a cozy blanket. It definitely knocks me out for a solid 15 minutes where I just have to lie down and let the magick move through me. Every use brings me closer to comfort with my sense of self, shedding what I’ve adopted as values and expectations from others. This is COMING HOME. The most potent Kolonía I’ve used (I have a feeling Thema Mundi beats this but I don’t have that one). Transformative… but in a way where you are simply becoming more genuinely and truly YOU. A must-have for people pleasers, caretakers, parentalized children, and probably everyone else too.

I became curious about this offering when others talked about having such good experiences with it in the Client Community. After working with it a bit I totally get way it's a fave. It's supremely grounding and clarifying without being depleting. It gives an air of serious consideration and an overall feeling of safety. Excited to keep working with this. :)

I find this helps my ADHD brain get and stay on track with my bigger picture intentions, and it helps calm my nerves too. This adds soundness to my decision-making and my words are received with gravitas by others with this influence. I do have natal Venus and Jupiter in this decan, which I think helps reign in some excesses of mine too, while helping support my longer-range goals. And I still find Cap II to be more physically grounding and energizing, but this seems to plug me into a higher mind.

Capricorn is my 12th house and I suspect that has something to do with this series effects being slightly less obvious at first use - what stands out about the kolonia is the *incredible smell* (woods! petrichor! all the Entish / Lothlorien / Lord of the Rings feels), and sense of calm and peace that wash over me when I use it. I do find it to be one of the more subtle forms of this series in terms of how intensely I feel the difference in my state register after using the kolonia, but since I almost always apply oil or BB right afterwards it's possible I'm just not giving it enough "breathing" space. Either way - it's incredibly grounding and oddly soothing materia to experience, not at all what I was expecting (in a good way)!

Using this as a quick cleanse by patting down the body is unlike any other experience I’ve had with other kolonías. I am so fully immersed in the experience and this feeling of *physical weight* being sloughed off of my body, the gunk being magnetized to my hands as I run them over myself. (And so much more at the same time, it’s almost beyond words). Makes sense in hindsight as this series feels so heavily keyed with the element of Earth. Pair it with Decree and you’re in for a *chef’s kiss* experience (and the feeling of quite literally sitting on a throne).

I am writing this review from early 2025 and things are chaotic, to say the least. This kolonia is essential for grounding. When I use it, I feel a deep heaviness in my calves and feet - not unpleasant at all, more like my roots are growing deeply into the earth and rooting me into bedrock. The first time I felt this sensation, it was shocking, but now I have learned to sit with it and let it flow through me until its work is done. Cleanse away anxiety, root into bedrock. An excellent product!

The first time I applied this Kolonia, this is something I wrote in the client forum:

“My aura feels like a cat who’s just been petted correctly for the first time ever. So velvety and warm, the action, so smooth, like fine wine.”

I have a number of S+S Kolonias from different series and this is easily my favorite in terms of the experience of the actual application. What fascinating materia! The cat-being-petted-correctly sensation, aurically, still stands. But there’s more to it. I sense something like a repairing action, like a spackling of auric holes or a smoothing of raggedy edges, and then a feeling within the aura of more…fullness, full-bodiedness. There seems to be something at work past mere clearing. There’s a fortification feeling, and a feeling of restored dignity.

And I’m drawn to take my time and be thorough applying this Kolonia, ten times more than I am with any other. It’s so luxurious and pleasurable-feeling that I have no wish to rush it. I imagine this helps us get the very most, benefit-wise.
