The Empress series is absolutely one of my favorites -- if not THE BEST offering S+S has ever put out, in my experience. Here's the thing about this series: while other series may invoke certain 'personalities' of the celestial bodies involved, none have ever felt quite as well-defined and 'alive' to me as the Empress, herself. She is an archetype that I can immediately relate to and recognize, and I definitely feel that I'm invoking the essence of Her -- or even an actual 'presence' that I interact with and can even embody -- when working with Her. And though I can feel Her shadow side and catch of glimpse of what She is like in excess or 'fallen,' Kaitlin has taken care to specifically invoke the most compassionate aspects of this entity, and you can absolutely feel that when interfacing with Her presence. This incense is always a surefire way to begin such a process, and is an offering to Her in and of itself, while also opening me to her presence and influence when burning it. An absolute favorite.

It's an excellent incense for any sort of plans that involve love, art, and attraction of many types. I've used it as a powder as well, placing it in a container when needing a little extra confidence. I also just find this is the incense I'm most drawn to just light to make a room feel more comfortable and inviting to good vibes all around. By far my most used S+S incense.

This incense smells like you woke up in a beautiful Parisian apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower while your lover brings you a chocolate croissant and a cappucino.

It feels like luxury! I burn this on Venus days and also during Her hours as devotion to Her. I also love burning it while I take a bath - feels like self love wrapped in silk and expensive perfumes!

I have a debilitated Venus ascendent, and smoking my face and body with this incense restores my energy and lifts my spirits. I feel better about myself, and I just feel better overall - a feeling of restoration! Second, I recently used the incense, plus other Empress materia, prior to a photoshoot for my business website. I received many lovely compliments on how I looked, even from those who don't really notice these things, or give compliments. I love that I both feel the benefits, and receive them from others.

I work as a bridal stylist, and swear by a few dashes of The Empress powder sprinkled into my pocket before work. A slip of the hand into my pocket before making my wedding gown selections for brides is an amazingly powerful helper in selecting the right gowns to ensure my brides look and feel beautiful in the gowns I choose. My closing ratio has never looked better .

This incense is worth it (as if anything from this series isn't!); I've gone through several vials since the release. Admittedly, it's not my favorite-smelling incense, but it evokes an energy of familiar comfortability for some reason. There's this edge of spiciness that fills me with a feeling of security & confidence, like everything is going to alright - or more than alright: it's going to be gooood. So one can easily see how this would be critical materia for birthing desires into reality. By elevating one into a state of anticipation, the consciousness of KNOWING that what one desires is coming, physical manifestation is imminent.

The Empress series is truly such good support, especially if you’re like me with both luminaries in debility. I’ve been using the incense and oil for months now, and it’s definitely in the running for S+S materia that I turn to most often (this, and my beloved Regulus materia). The sense of full-hearted, embodied sovereignty that this materia facilitates really cannot be overstated. While The Empress card certainly suits, I also get a distinctly Nine of Pentacles feeling from this series (which, if you’re anything like me, is HIGHLY aspirational). For anyone with an interest in the deep and necessary pursuit of pleasure.

I’ve been using a combination of the Empress oils, BPALs and this incense regularly since it’s release and I’m so blown away by the ~glow up~ that has felt almost immediate! I have been fully shaving my head for 2.5 years, and as soon as I started working with The Empress I felt inclined for the first time in a very long time to do something more intentional and different with my appearance. I started growing my hair out a bit and even died it pink! I am appreciating my appearance for the first time in a long time, and I know the Empress series as a whole is seriously aiding me in re-imagining myself and feeling empowered to express myself authentically.
