Kolonía of Exalted Sol
This Kolonía was created with water freshly harvested from the headwaters of Mt. Shasta on the day of the 2021 Aries ingress, ritually combined with colloidal gold, grain alcohol (to a final 75% alcohol content), and essential oils on a fine Solar election the following Sunday in the second hour of Sol, as Humanity’s Own Star reigned supreme conjunct the Midheaven.
Turkish colognes are often sprinkled upon the hands before entering one’s household or business establishment, providing some natural sanitation and also a delightful scent. Kolonía of Exalted Sol can be used in such a way, or as you would any type of Florida Water for energetic cleansing, purification, and illumination. Makes it difficult for nasties to glom on or penetrate the auric body.
Shake well to integrate all of the essential oils before use.
Energy Clearing Protocol
For energetic cleansing, sprinkle about a half teaspoon onto the palms of the hands and gently but thoroughly rub together for 10 or so seconds, coating both sides. The hands can float 2 inches from the body or be lightly touching it.
Stand and run your palms from the crown of your head down the back of the head, then start from the top again, going down the front of your face and body, all the way down to the tops of your feet. If you feel any areas “sticking”, continue stroking them until energies disperse, and then proceed with downward sweeping.
Continue skimming from the head downward, running your cologned hands across every surface area, including under the arms, groin, and rear, concluding with the bottoms of the feet by lifting them. You can “flick” the energy off if it feels right, or it will dissipate naturally, however you prefer.
Take 10-30 seconds to close your eyes and integrate the cleansing, feeling the shift, and thank Sol for its purification and illumination, sealing the auric body from negativity.
This Kolonía can also be used before performing reiki, energy work, or any other healing activity, on clients or loved ones. It can be done on the self, objects, or 3rd parties.
Other Applications
This can also be added to baths, floor washes, essential oil diffusers, or dishes of water for protection.

This kolonia is wonderful. It’s uplifting and works beautifully for a quick reset. I would describe it as bright and zingy. It makes me feel light, bright, and alive.
I use this frequently to clear my energy and come back to self, and it's fantastic stuff. Clears out superfluous worry and bullshit and gives me a sense of my own energy and essence radiating through. An essential part of my spiritual hygiene routine.
This Kolonia has a very noticeable clearing or boosting effect on me (for reference, I have a 12th house sun) that can perk me up when I need it. I break it out for use during bouts of illness and special occasion type of Sundays almost exclusively because I have so little left. I'd love to support my 12th house sun with it more often if I could somehow obtain more of it.
Much like the Exalted Sol oil, I find the Exalted Sol Kolonia life giving to me. I'm an Aries sun (Leo Moon, Sag Rising) and absolutely CRAVE exalted sol matria. It tempers my "too much heat" toxic fire sign qualities and cools me down. It connects me to my fire base and helps me to tap into the power and strength my fire is, as opposed to the fire anger and reactivity, and big aggression. I reach for this a lot, and use something from Exalted Sol each day.
I would do anything to have more of this Kolonia - it appeals to the part of me that has always worshipped the sun and its life-giving force. Clears away funk, malaise, sadness, monkey mind, gremlins, and depression.
Echoing others who've mentioned that this was my intro to kolonias, I'm continually blown away by how immediate and noticeable the effects are when cleansing with this materia. The potency of this one is undeniable. Feels like an instantaneous hard reset on my energetic body; clarifying and light-giving, like the sun breaking through clouds. I started working with Exalted Sol a few months ago and found it to have a very immediate impact and it layers really well with other series.
I first used the Kolonia in my diffuser which helped me to attune to it.
Later I used Water of Exated Sol before a workout.
I’m not a morning person used I had a morning workout booked. After spritzing myself I was totally focused the whole session and had a really great workout.
I’ve also used Exalted Sol Kolonia as an aura cleanse with Regulus Oil in the hour of Sol did some Patrilineal healing and contacted my deceased brother.

Forgemaster’s Iron Palm Dit Da Jow
Sold Out, Sundry, WatersThe furnace blazes, the iron glows. Blood burns in the hammer-arm of the blacksmith. Stubborn metal becomes malleable, open to convincing arguments from the hammer and the strong hand that wields it.
Fire, iron, and blood. This is the holy trinity of Mars, as crucial for creation as it is for destruction. While many know Mars as the Warrior, the red planet is equally the Smith. In the Smith we see the constructive side of Mars, the blood, sweat, and tears necessary to shape and re-shape our lives, our bodies, ourselves.
The Smith’s alchemical action is an especially apt metaphor for the transformation of the body. The layers of effort required to re-forge the body are quintessentialy martial, and there is no exercise regimen as close to the forge as Iron Palm.
Iron Palm refers to a family of limb-training methods which strengthen the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones for both defensive and offensive purposes. Many styles also emphasize the internal side, cultivating increased qi emission capacity for both striking and healing purposes.
Though there are many variations, the training almost always consists of a daily routine of hitting progressively more resilient materials. A canvas bag of bean, then stones, then metal. Though the results are dramatic, the training process is incremental, with as much attention paid to healing and perfect recovery as to anything else.
Over the years, a great number of liniments have been created for this purpose. Generally referred to as dit da jow, they are widely available and widely used for general athletic purposes well outside of the specific practice of an Iron Palm regimen.
The Forgemaster’s Dit Da Jow is one of these Iron Palm formulae, but with a Sphere + Sundry twist. This Jow was created in a fully ritual manner and at a precisely elected astrological time.
Prayers to Mars the Forgemaster were intoned to bless and empower this tincture at the outset of the operation. The operators were consecrated to the red work, and the medicine vessels adorned with magic square, seal, and sigil.
The elected time seemed a spectacularly appropriate and rare moment for this work. It was the Day and Hour of Mars, with the red planet exalted in Capricorn and on the Ascendant. This powerful, earthy Mars was further supported by a trine from an exalted Moon in Taurus, and meanwhile, Jupiter in Mars-ruled Scorpio crowned the zenith (MC). The result, the Forgemaster’s Dit Da Jow, is not only rich with the spirit and energy of this powerful Mars election, it also possesses the excellent properties bestowed by the materia of the formulation itself.
The basis for this recipe is the Iron Palm formula of Yu Cheung (1894- 1952), one of the famed Five Tigers of Canton. His iron palm feats were famously documented in the early 1900's by photographers, and though his stone-shattering exploits are too numerous to cover here, there are entire books dedicated to his training methods. Crucially, he was known not just his power of his hands, but also their sensitivity.
This formula was designed by him to cultivate both strength and softness. Protection for the hand, energy gates, and organ systems while also maximizing sensitivity and the capacity to express qi for both healing and striking purposes. Yu Cheung’s formula is the basis for this liniment, though it has been modified in small ways for reasons of both ethics and efficacy.
This liniment is designed to unblock the qi flow, activate blood movement, relax tendons and ligaments and increase bone strength. The two types of qi this formula stimulates are wei qi or “defensive/guardian energy” and regular organ qi. This formula activates both in harmony, and is one of the many reasons it is superior to a store-bought dit da jow.
Forgemaster’s Dit Da Jow is formulated to facilitate the healing of bruises , tendons, sinews, and bones, and to reduce pain, strengthen blood vessels, reduce swelling, and mitigate blood stagnation. It also protects the meridians and mobilizes both protective and organ qi for health and vitality.

I love ALL the Kolonias, but this one is so lovely. I get a strong celery-like fragrance from it, not sweet but fresh, green, and bright–very invigorating. I typically dilute the Kolonias with Florida water and put them in little spray bottles. I keep one at work, and I also carry one one the car to use for a quick cleansing after graveyard visits–this is my fave for that purpose.

I’m so glad I bought the jumbo bottle of this stuff because I’ve been using it constantly. Whenever I feel overly anxious or irritable, I follow the directions Kaitlin wrote for application. Ideally, I apply it during the post-shower lotioning/moisturizing phase. It gives me a nice mood boost and makes me feel ready to tackle things again. I usually pile on more Sol and usually some Jupiter materia as well.
This is IT. This stuff packs quite the punch. I honestly won’t put it on in the evenings unless I *know* I am going to be staying up until the wee hours of the morning creating art. Best of the “come down” items from the Saturn in Capricorn items so far. Yes, I think you do need a ‘restorative’ after dealing with pure Saturn and this worked the best for me. Asclepius items and Sol perfumes tempered the effects and the Kolonia wiped away Saturn’s special weighty effects and things got back to normal.
I have used this Kolonia in place of Florida Water when I need an extra oomph of illumination in my work. It is excellent for cleansing the spirit and leaves you feeling like you got the spiritual equivalent of a chemical peel–without the burning sensation. 🙂
I am absolutely OBSESSED with this Kolonia in the Exalted Sol Series. It is the first Kolonia that I have tried, but it smells absolutely invigorating and incredible. Whether or not I have fresh showered hair or not, I really enjoy part of my morning routine at Sunrise as shaking some Kolonia into my palm and combing it through my hair with my fingers. Instant solar shine. I have worn it to work along with Diadem of Myriad Rays and perceive its power of recognition and persuasion. I can’t say if other series may have contributed but, I did win an “Exceed Award” at work which sure seems to say Exalted Sol to me! Will definitely save some of this Materia to put towards more “recognition in my sphere” when the time comes!
Kolonia of Exalted Sol feels like Florida Water on steroids. More bitter orange and neroli from a smell perspective, but literally douse yourself in sunshine. Sunshine that happens to tell you its OK to shine the way you are.
Kolonía of Exalted Sol has such a bright, uplifting and invigorating energy. I was amazed at how quickly it took effect. I had been struggling with focusing on a writing project, and this made a big difference — my energetic field immediately felt lighter and more buoyant.
