Oil of Mother Algol

If your heart and mind are ready to welcome The Dark Mother, by the grace of this oil you shall be blessed with her presence. As you feel Her black cape cover you with dread, bow your head and kiss Her feet for She accepts nothing short of the utmost respect. I found this oil immensely helpful when working through the intense feelings of rage and pain inflicted by men. Instead of hexing, I asked The Mother of Demons to command them and cast them out from my darkest emotional places. Her understanding is utterly cold, yet profound, as She stands unflinching in the face of the most harrowing horrors women endure. It’s healing not through compassion, but through the sheer unwillingness to bend to the will of the oppressor.

I hadn't had a chance to try this oil, but I needed some extra protection and a little "stay put" after a series of attacks and situations that tested my patience. I didn't ask for a direct attack, but I did ask for protection, and boy did I get it with its corresponding effects. Illnesses, shocks, falls, etc. I have an Algol talisman and have been working to get close to it for several months. However, when I mixed some of this oil in a tea light and LiC powder, and when I got close enough, I got a tremendous headache and nausea. I didn't get back in my office until the next day, so the "do it outside" thing is pretty proven, at least with this series.

It is so potent that you can feel it even when you hold the bottle in your hands.. Not a materia to engage with without divination.

I find Algol materia very empowering and strength giving. I rarely use this but when I do it's very intense and almost instant feelings of power and wrath and rage in the best way.

The day my parcel arrived, I got my cycle and experienced the worst PMS symptoms of my life. I had read the warnings of ordering this product but didn't want to pass up on the opportunity to grab some while it was temporarily on sale. I can sense how powerful this materia is and keep it separated from my others. The power you get from this materia is real, but will come at a cost of some sort.

There is nothing quite like this oil, and anyone would be hard-pressed to find one that will match its ferocity and depth as S+S have provided in this iteration. After opening the oil to take the scent in, it felt like I got softly electrocuted for several seconds. During my day, I caught myself being more forthright, protective, and incisive in communication at work, and had a powerful dream that same night. All from just one breath of Mother Algol's influence.
Walk in with humility and focus, and she will leave you with her cathartic power.

Words do not capture the energy of this oil. It is simply like nothing I have ever experienced. Intense void-like energy outside the existence of time, that feels alive and larger than my mind can capture. Definitely not for the unexperienced, as grounding practices and cleansing is essential to bringing oneself humbly back to earth.

When I first opened this oil, it was like being enfolded in dark wings of protection. I use this to anoint my Algol talisman and I've also used it ritually, along with the Blood of the Gorgon, in a working to protect myself and my children from my abusive ex-husband. Highly effective and highly recommended if you're in dire need as I was.

I ordered this oil a little over a year ago and wanted to get a good idea of its energy before I left a review.
I think more than anything, I want to emphasize the warnings in the writeup, because they are no joke. This is not something you engage with out of sheer curiosity. This is not something to engage with for fun.
I highly recommend doing ***A LOT*** of divination and research before deciding to work with Algol, to see if she is a good fit for you.
I’ve only used this oil a couple of times, because it is so potent and most of the time I struggle to have the bandwidth to process that much dark energy, even with Asclepius materia.
It’s definitely best used for wards that are outside the home, and as an offering.
All of that said, Algol has shown me fierce protection, and for that I am sincerely grateful. Just really take your time if you’re thinking about getting this materia.

I felt called to order this materia, even though I admit I also felt a bit uneasy about it. As you can see, S+S does divination on purchases of this product, and I myself did divination before I ordered it. I had a deep intuitive knowing that She would provide a strong protective energy to my home and life, as well as a connection to the most primordial, occult aspects of the Divine Feminine. When I received the package, Her power is palpable, and I felt a deep sense of reverence and gratitude for the energy coming into my life. I created a special altar space for Mother Algol, as it didn't feel right to just store Her somewhere random. I put a small glass house figure I had next to it, and if definitely felt like it essentially activated a kind of magical ADT system for my home. I have opened it to inhale the scent, but have not used it for anointment at this time. Someone else said in their review that you will know if this product is for you, so be sure to listen to your intuition, guides, and oracles. She's powerful!
