Quicksilver Tongue herbal mix, consecrated via fumigation and prayers during Sphere + Sundry’s election, later ground with opal. Flecks of precious metal alloys: silver + gold (white gold), gold + copper (red gold).
Use to dress candles or create mojos for promoting creativity, artistry, inspiration, sociability, and good times.
Sprinkle in carrying cases for art supplies or instruments. The shoes for dancers. Costumes or clothing for actors and performers.

I got the bulk powder of this, and a little goes a long way, but it is my fav powder to use in shoes. It isn't too stimulating or altering, but yet noticeable. You will pick up on the things that shift for you, especially if you ask for help with specific things. To me this series is just so adorable and helpful.
i identifiably say one well-placed utterance when i dust w this - mostly cleverly sociable but it's also parried authority off of me (also cleverly). re writing - solutions seem to pop into place, but *after* actively trying, not during, like a combo breaker's been going in the background pow pow
Perfect to burn while writing -- helps you find the words that are deft, true, and beautiful. Also fantastic for social situations (I sprinkle a bit in the soles of my shoes on such occasions) and effective at alleviating introvert-burnout. One of my favorite S+S series, and super friendly for those new to talismanic materia.
I still can't get over how beautiful this powder is just to look at, and it feels the way it looks - timeless and dreamy. A little pinch below the insoles of one's shoes insures that time itself will be busy with the minds own enchantments, serendipitous syncs, and conversations. This powder makes a great ingredient for most kinds of spellwork, as it is both parts mental agility, charm, and inspiration

I've been burning this when I sit down to write and it really sets a tone. I recently paired it with the oil and I don't know how to put it — I feel stronger and supported, like someone's got my back.
I love sprinkling this powder in my pockets or shoes when I want to have a more easy-breezy day at work full of fun conversation with my coworkers.
Also, I think the powders as a form are really started to grow on me. I recently added some of this powder to a bottle of perfume oil - it’s a great way to make the magic stretch.
Burned this as incense prior to a play-devising and song-adapting session with a couple longtime friends and the results were so strong that almost every idea which surfaced was one we ended up using in the final production. Sprinkling a bit of powder in my shoes before going to rehearsals has resulted in feeling so connected with the work I do, whether that's feeling more deeply into a character's motivations or making sparks fly between myself and other actors with the otherworldly synergy of our combined performance-flow. A perfect tool for any actor or performer to have in their collection, I cannot recommend it highly enough for more inspired stage presence and playfulness!
I was gifted this powder, and although I use other forms of QT here and there, I put this in my purse and kind of forgot about it for a few weeks. During that time I had a creative awakening where I came to new, deeper understandings about art forms and techniques. I could not figure out what to attribute it to,, but then realized I had been toting around this entire bottle of powder every day. Makes me wonder if it was acting as a "mini-talisman".
I had the most incredible urge to sprinkle a tiny bit of this on my laptop during proposal and contract writing. Just got word we won the RFP contract which is excellent news.
Cautious warning to carefully think through using this with exalted Mercury. I may or may not have had time warps, time lines, and the feeling of taking too many adhd meds while using this combo.
I love dusting myself with this powder before work or dressing a candle with it before working on something at home. It makes the time go by fast and it makes everything feel smooth and productive. I work in a creative field, and there's something about this powder that makes things feel bolstered. I love the Quicksilver series, it's one of my favorites, and the powder is a great way to participate in it. It's potent and lasting.
I can't pretend to understand the astrology behind this series, but I do know that if you're new to magic, Quicksilver Tongue will demonstrate to you just how real magic is. I love powders because you can make other things with them. I infused Florida water with QT powder and I use it to clean the screens of my electronic devices. I feel like it's a nice thing to do since I'm emotionally attached to them and like to honor their service.
But the real magic is in how using this spray on my outgoing packages ensures that they actually arrive. Even with my occasionally problematic post office, my packages always find their way. The spray is pretty great for shopping too. I just spray my grabby hands and go hunting for bargains!
I use this powder on everything - mixed with lotion, sprinkled on my laptop just for starters. The burst of creativity I feel is profound and before I know it, hours have passed and I've written pages and pages of my novel. Also, QST just has such a good vibe in general - I will never go without this series in my life, it's that good!
Because this series dose not have body butter or salve, I like to create my own by mixing with the powder - add it to body wash bottle, sprinkle on skincare product or mix with the body or massage oil. Smell nice and works well!
I absolutely adore this series, and the QST powder is one of my most used S+ materia items to date. I always use it to dress my candles, and it enhances the environment in such a creative, magical, uplifting, playful, socially-easeful way. My friends often comment on how seamlessly & quickly time passes, like the most enjoyable & pleasant time-warp. It has accompanied me during many readings, and I've sprinkled some into the stuffing of a puppy I made by hand. My baby cousin reacted with so much joy, and it's her favourite stuffed animal of them all!
I have so many QT powders because I like adding its energy to everything. Luck? Blessings? Ease? Inspiration? Timeless connection? Serendipity? It's all there.
The yoga here presents to me as a playful dynamic friendship between poets to me - think the Shelleys and Byron getting together.
I think this might be my favorite series. I mixed this powder with lotion and applied to my arms/chest/hands on a night when I had committed to a social outing I really wasn’t feeling up to. First, it smells great - but also, it’s so uplifting and totally removed the burdensome aspects of socializing. I felt engaged, able to talk and have fun in a way that doesn’t always come easy. Afterward and for the next day, I felt inspired to write, had several unusually good ideas, and started a larger project that (in combination with other materia) is helping me process some challenging emotional stuff. I liked the powder so much, I went back and bought the oil.
I used the QST powder by sprinkling a bit inside my shoes a few days ago, on the coldest so far for 2022 day of the year around here. On a day where I had to help out and be outside for 20+ minutes on the fly in sub-zero temperature. And you know what, I didn't loathe every minute of it. I am not a morning person and I am not a "cold" person. QST on a Venus day allowed me to access both grace and good cheer, on a day that was built for anything but that. I smiled, kids smiled at me, parents smiled at me, and overall, I walked with a spring in my step.
Quicksilver Tongue is such an enjoyable series on many levels.
I feel fortunate to have had multiple forms of it at my disposal for a unique situation calling for creative trickery involving an agency of state government.
Not only did the materia allow my mind to creatively develop the scenario in which the documented events actually happened and to believe it, but applying the powder to the documents created the illusion that aged them in the eye of the handler (including myself), thus providing the confidence to pull this off.
I should mention that no one was harmed by, or disadvantaged by the illusion created. It was a simple matter of time and person with all positive intention purpose and result.
So far I really enjoy this powder, it have used it to sprinkle in my alcohol underpaintings and over my pastel palette. Since then I have only created beautiful paintings, it seems to take the frustration out of painting when I am learning a new technique. It's easier to get into that flow state. Looking forward to working with it more!
