Like so many other things in life, having the right tools for the right job makes a world of difference. This kit is full of the right tools and the instructions for how to use them effectively.
A ritual bathing and energetic cleansing routine is one of those things that's easy to forget or skip in the midst of day to day life. This kit has made it easy to stick to a good routine of energetic cleansing. With that as a foundational practice, everything does flow much better and clearer.
An added bonus is getting into the routine of regularly cleaning the "theater of operations" - the bathroom, bed linens, etc. Such an uplift to be freshly cleaned in a freshly cleaned place!
The incense burner makes it so easy to use incense powders and can be used outside of ritual bathing. The scrapey tool has a good weight to it. Just holding it feels like it means business. The bell rings clear and true, and is one of those things that I didn't think I'd use much, but ended up really liking. I've very happy that I got this kit!
This is one of my favorite S&S purchases of all time. The instructions for the ritual are thorough, and in doing (and repeating) them, I have seen a real energetic shift in my life, one that I was desperate for. The materials are all very high quality, both the scrapey and the bell are gorgeous items that made the process extra enjoyable. I really appreciated the convenience of being able to get all of these items in one place as I really didn't have the energy to seek it all out on my own. Beautiful work as always <3
I used this at dawn in Venus' day & hour during Venus cazimi in Aries, I used son of Apollo incense & Asclepius III salt after bathing an initial time for bodily cleanliness per the recommendations, then anointed with luminous crown, empress & golden sol. I could not tell you why at all, but after all the stress of the day leading up & then the scramble to exfoliate etc, then the careful checking of the well summarized instructions as I fumigated prayed & annointed, like, as I finally slipped my body all the way into the salted water my mind went blank & I melted in a way that I have only ever experienced from drugs before. I felt so detached from all these concerns that were wrenching to me minutes before, so present, so still. I knew it would be a good ritual practice to pick up & that this was a good kit at a great value because I did some background looking, but I had no idea it would be so striking so immediately. can't wait for the next new moon. also I fell asleep immediately after & dreamt vividly in the morning sun for 6 hours lol.
also, the bell is large & loud & has a pleasing sound thats clear & not clangy, the incense holder isn't flimsy & is convenient to move around your body as indicated , the pitcher is a great size for my bathtub, the Turkish exfoliator glove thing was unexpectedly a standout even though I have several comparable bathing items, and the scrapeyguy - the reason I ultimately decided to buy this - it appears that the artisan who made these would sell you something similar for - at minimum - well over the price of this whole kit if you wanted to assemble it yourself. I priced out what this all would be separately & this kit is a superb value even before you consider the worth of the extremely detailed ritual guides provided (the fact that thats free & written compatibly with other products is incredibly generous) . im so glad I went for it
