Sovereign’s Decree Lip Balm

I bought this and a few other products in March when my place of work was beginning a restructure. I had a lot more face time with senior leaders in transforming a team into a new department. I also was responsible for a lot of in person restraining of our staff. I sometimes fumble over my words and ramble. But when I used this I feel like I was able to be consise, impactful, relational, and persuasive while being consise. I also feel more positive and optimistic when speaking when I am wearing this. I certainly don't use it everyday but definitely when I need to shine and will be speaking a lot.

I’m used to feeling “the shift” whenever I use an S & S offering, so I was a bit surprised when this lip balm did not provide a similar experience. I know the effects have been said to be very subtle, but even upon keen, focused observation, I still sensed only the faintest difference. Sigh. However, as usual, YMMV…I will say that I keep this lip balm with me in a cozy inside my purse because I am trying to work with it regularly in hopes of syncing with it more thoroughly, so hopefully it’s just a matter of time. I have a feeling that this is definitely less of an issue with the lip balm than it is a “me problem.”
Also, for those who enjoy wearing lip color, this balm makes an excellent base for makeup once you let it fully sink in!

This is my third day using this lip balm and I’m in love. I got it because I wanted to be heard when talking to other people. Capricorn is my 6th house and there are no planets in there so I wasn’t sure how the series was going to work for me. I have been having the most unexpected but totally welcomed side effect after wearing this lipstick; it makes me happy! It’s like a dose of sunshine for me every time I apply it. It makes me sweeter to those who are around me as well. Now that I have recited the prayer and tried it on, I understand the spirit of Capricorn and it is beautiful. I felt compelled to pick interesting looking rocks when I was outside. The lip balm smells amazing and is very hydrating too. I love it! Thank you S+S!

My natal Saturn sits within this decan, opposite my Mercury - it’s helped me express myself with less anxiety. The effects are subtle but it’s helped me recognize an unfair workplace situation and move towards steps to solve it without burning bridges (as is my wont). Texture-wise it’s lovely; the scent is a bit strong for me so I prefer to dab it at the base of my throat or draw a line down my vocal cords instead.

I love this chapstick so so much! I keep it at my desk and use for all writing projects as well as all of my zoom meetings. It feels like my (usually scattered) throughts come through with much more clarity and intention. Already gifted one to my bestie and purchased a back up for when it sells out 😉

I'd previously tried two lipsticks from other series, but this one in particular was wow. I didn't expect it to give me a kick in some magical and mundane practices. There are things I'd avoid asking for or ordering, but this helps me be more direct. Keep in mind, though, that if you're not careful, you can come across as "bossy."

This lip balm is SUPREME!!! She is smooth, just the right amount of slick, she is thick but not stuffy, she glides on so easy and the sensation of moisturized lips LASTS. And the magick? Sensational. As all the Sovereign’s Decree specific items, this is deeply grounding. The first time I used it I felt absolutely blissed out, I felt like I was in several worlds at once. As I started to get what was really going on (integration!) I got totally accustomed to the feeling. Sometimes anxiety crops up and I apply again, and poof it’s gone. It’s like the materia gives the sensation of deep, intense silent meditation. It’s fantastic

Even if it wasn’t packed full of powerful magic that is palpable the balm itself is luxurious and soothing. I love the packaging

Chapsticks are probably my favorite form of any series, and this one might be my favorite in terms of how wearable I find it. The effects of the series overall are quite slow / potentially subtle depending on your chart (very subtle in my case as Cap is my 12H so the mystery vibes are strong), but I actually appreciate having a chapstick that has this kind of "slow release" impact to it's effects, because I generally use a ton of chapstick and I haven't noticed any ill effects from "overdosing" by applying too many times throughout the day.

When I use it, I feel calmer, more grounded, and much more empowered to Say What Needs To Be Said...and NOT say what doesn't. Cap II chapstick certainly packs a bigger punch than this does for those looking for an immediate energetic "POW!" feeling, but in terms of wearability and overall feel Cap III takes the cake. It's *so* silky and soft, and the new packaging is just *chef's kiss*

If you like the scent of the overall series, you can't go wrong with the chapstick 🙂

I have virtually every lip balm S+ offers and was excited to get this one because I just love the form so much. This version just might not be for me! The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and in my opinion a big improvement over the plastic tubes, but the scent profile for this one is very medicinal forward and so strong that I find it distracting (especially since it's on my lips!). In terms of magical support I haven't noticed a ton when working with this balm; there has been some additional thoughtfulness, but I also find it *very* slow moving which at times has created almost a sense of frustration. Overall it's still a gorgeous product that I am sure will serve many people well, it just might not be for me, which is its own sweet lesson and frankly worth the price of engagement to learn.
