Ancient like Kronos, heavy-kneed, pouring rain.
This is an oil of discipline, duty, and perseverance during hardship. It is an oil of fierce independence, practicality, and gravity. This is an oil that sublimates irrational emotion in favor of cold logic. Use the Goat’s Scapula to increase patience, particularly during negotiations and to understand the mysteries of time and the passage of time.
Balm of Gilead buds and absolute (Populus nigra), patchouli essential oil and patchouli root from the TAL garden (Pogostemon cablin), hyssop essential oil and leaf from the TAL garden (Hyssopus officinalis), vetiver essential oil (Vetiveria zizanioides), American hemlock (Tsuga canadensis), tobacco absolute (Nicotiana tabacum L, alcohol extraction of the concrete of the cured leaves), tobacco tree flowers from the TAL garden (Nicotiana glauca), wild-cultivated Huichol tobacco leaf (Nicotiana langsdorfii), black vegetal musk, and ethically sourced goat bone. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. This oil is not vegan. No goats were harmed in the creation of this oil.

This smells cool and serious, like an herb garden in the rain. I feel the noise in my head quiet and I'm set on getting done what I need to get done- not so much what I "want" to do necessarily, but things that are demanding the most immediate attention definitely get taken care of first. Most importantly, I feel my patience for getting these things done expanding. I usually lean on Martian materia to get things done but I sometimes end up a bit more frantic about what I'm doing. I feel like I keep a cooler head with this, and don't miss some of the details, even if they are or seem inconsequential. I'm so happy to have this more grounding perfume in my collection!
It smells so good and the intention is exactly what I am looking for help with. In spite of this and having a strong Saturn in my chart, I couldn’t beat the Saturn blues with this one no matter what I did. I was perusing the election chart one day and noticed that it was when Saturn was square my Libra Sun/stellium, and learned a good lesson of actually checking an election chart before adding materia to my collection. I have happily passed this beautiful oil onto a Capricorn friend to help her with her studies.
It does increase patience. For me it has really underscored to "understand the mysteries of time and the passage of time". It allows me to see the bigger picture and less concerned by any small problems. I find it more ethereal and contemplative than the previous reviewers. I would recommend especially to those dipping their toes to the Saturnian world for the first time. A good entry point.
I love the smell and the effect - ultimate solution when you need to SIT DOWN and do the work. Even the most boring task will fall. I like to combine with Golden Goat subset to get the first kick and then it will roll till you have a perfect smooth road (like to imagine tandem roller for asphalt compaction here).
I don't normally posses patience. The line "understand the mysteries of time" really appealed to me while reading this description. I wanted to keep better diaries, schedules and journals by hand. I write a lot and a lot of times it is hot-headed, emotional writing. While there is a value to that, I've also, with the use of this oil, grown really connected with the magic of "just a short, essential list" for getting me through a day. This oil really lent to work I was doing around getting my priorities straight. And I think, if you're an emotional hot-headed flow kind of person, it's such an amazing gift to have distance from that, see that more from afar, look at it with a colder mind. And this was just the thing i needed there.
