I use this candle to enhance any other planet work and it feels like moon applying to that planet on the sky even when it doesn't. If you match it with a good transit and when Moon indeed applying to the planet in works - the effect is quick and miraculous. Haven't used it on it own.

The first thing I have to say is that you do not need to let this burn for a super long time at any given point. It is very potent in my experience. I primarily use it as a final push when I am trying to get something to materialize or go my way. However I also work with it when I need a layer of supreme comfort. I am currently holding a lot of grief, and am feeling incredibly grateful for Luna's support on this Mo(o)nday.

This one packs a punch. It is, as mentioned in the writeup, weird. I felt slightly off-kilter and 2 degrees off set from the world for the time I had it burning. It's magnetic and transfixing - absolutely glorious and stunning to behold. As with the other Luna materia, I feel like I could stare at it for hours.

I used it to open up a conversation between my husband and I -- we ended up going deeper into old childhood patterns than we have before. The impact of the candle was immediate and visceral (I ended up throwing up after working with it) but the results were also wide-ranging and lasting. The stone that was dropped in the waters of old childhood memories had huge ripples that are still arriving on shore weeks later, transforming my internal relationship to how I recall and hold childhood experiences and the ongoing relationships they created.

I often find with other forms of materia (oils, tinctures, etc) that the best effects are created by sustained and regular use, but this candle felt more like a single catalyst that is still resonating weeks later. I have more to burn but I think I will wait a while... one of the most powerful forms of S+ materia I have ever encountered. The candles are popular for a reason!

This candle is incredibly potent not only as an engine or vector point for Luna in Cancer, sheer Lunar, Watery energy and power, Max Yin to a shimmery extent, but also as a sort of Queen of Cups-like mirror to boost and reflect, or enhance, the manifestation of other celestial energies unto our much closer and intimate physical planes of reality and daily experience. A good "WiFi signal booster" for other energies, regardless of whether or not they are similarly yin (though you do get a nice, sweet, juicy boost from combining Luna in Cancer with any Jupiter in Pisces materia, both Water...).

This is such a beautiful white candle. I usually light it on the days that I want to really dig through my emotions, connect to my feminine side, and enjoy the lovely rays of the moon. My cat is named Luna too and she becomes so loving when I am burning this candle which is an extra bonus :)

Working with this candle is not for the light of heart, bringing up themes of grief, generational trauma, cutting bonds, and healing. I had bought this with Empheral cloud to support me as I made a slow separation from the source of personal trauma, but working with this material pushed my boundaries and deep. By the time I burned the last of the candle, I had lost almost all connections to the source of my wounds, had rediscovered my gender identity, and was deeply questioning who I was outside my trauma. It pushed me in deeply healing in challenging ways

My favorite candle of the S&S series. The other candles have serious magic attached them, but especially the Moon one, as the description says: "facilitates emotional presence and illumination" - it really does. It makes me joyful just to look at it on my altar. As a cancer sun, something about this candle stops me from over analyzing, and brings out the long forgotten childlike simplicity, happiness and comfort.

This has to be the most gorgeous candle I've ever laid eyes on--it's truly like having a bit of moon stashed in a away to light up whenever needed. This series as a whole as been such a needed, welcome, wonderful initiation for me, but if I had to pick one item as the portal I might go with this one. (Fitting for a luminary, no?). Kaitlin's ethics and integrity set the bar for practitioners everywhere and the caution tape around this series is well-warranted, but I've been delighted to find many many wonders within this particular sphere. It completely acts as a +10 power up for any other magic you do, also--that part is totally true.
